Looks simple and a bit clunky, but i liked the idea of implementing the dialogues from both characters at once. the most hilarious thing is that when heller dies, it's just the credits rolling down like nothing.
Why is everybody against heller when the story itself calls him the perfect host for blacklight? Mercer is dead, been so before the first game started, it's blacklight and like a symbiote it wants to bond with it's perfect host. What do you have against heller to hate him so much to ignore the lore of the game you so love and praise? Wether you like it or not, lore states that he is the perfect host and symbiotes want to bond with their perfect host over everything else.

It's just the virus trying to gain his perfect host like it did with greene. 2 alex for some reason lost a couple of his abilities and was more focussed on making different strains of the virus like greene did and her creation of runners is the same as his eveolved are. And until they release information that says otherwise the evolved are mercers brand of runners. 3 mercer was the one who released the virus and took it over but the real mercer was already dead at the start of pt1 and you've been playing as a virus that seeks to find his perfect host even if that host has ptst from all the suicide missions he got send on and survived and only finding after getting infected that his daughter lives and mercer want to use her to breed so off-course heller is going to stop that full grown adult with a messiah complex from trying to smash his underage daughter. 4 time constraints, they had to shit something out to appease the fans. 5 works the same as it did to greene and she got defeated by the protangonist and changing it is called special pleading. Rules for thee for not for me. The protangonist can ony defeat the villain if the fans want to suck on his tentacles even if the newer protangonist has a background and reason to be how he is instead of being the cause of a zombie apocalypse they themselves created close enough to put his own family in danger because creating virusses that target specific races and endangering our sisters is such a noble act every brother should do and we shouldnt judge him for being an emotionless monster that sold out humanity by willingly making blacklight 10× as dangerous as redlight. 6 so when is it your turn to do the same thing and release a hyper mutating zombie virus because you love that monster so much that you want to be him even if means you're limited to being deep inside him?

Even though I consider the fact that Mercer from the very beginning was negligent and selfish, the fact that Mercer become "mentally grey" character after getting mutant powers .Coz in the story Mercer died before releasing the virus and the virus thinking with Mercer's mind repents for his actions and deaths of people. But the Devs had painted him rather the virus as *pure evil* but he(rather it) was not.Mercer could have been a good antagonist by simple logic that biologically virus in order to survive and reproduce needs a host but Mercer's virus had a mind he could feel emotions thus after learning the truth was broken.Later after so much mental resistance he logically explained himself that becoming the core of Hive mind is best for him and in order to convert the whole world into a virus he had created a havoc in the world in the name of "second chance".He was a complex character and His morality was not clear cut.BUT His actions are not justified that's why he deserved to die.But the story should have been designed in a way that Heller in order to save the world as well as (Broken Mercer from his mental agony) kills him. But no Devs had to include cruelty in P2. The mental greyness of all characters like Blackwatch soldiers were removed except the fact that Dana Mercer was still the same.If you notice in P1 was very calculative GENETEK only wanted a bio weapon miscarriage of which (due to Mercer(unintentional)) gave rise to a zombie apocalypse and only threatened Mercer and people related to him.But in P2 Blackwatch soldiers were very cruel they just enjoyed killing people (by testing how fast the brawlers kills them) and putting them in cages and injecting the virus in their body and other things.In a cutscene or a tape I don't know which one, a person was shot dead because he saved a woman from being r***d.Sometimes I feel why ACTIVISION authorised RADICAL ENTERTAINMENT to design P2.P2 is hated not only for Heller or Mercer but also for story designing. And From the gaming perspective can you blame me for my desire to use cool powers.Like it can be anyone whether it's Mercer, Heller or some other Protagonist.Even in P3 if I get to use cool powers and a better story free of stereotype I am ready to pay for it. Another thing is that I haven't said that Heller can't defeat Mercer. He is fully capable of doing that but the last *fight was very easy* which should not be, fighting the main antagonist should have been more insane which makes the gameplay more desirable and interesting.Like they underestimated both MERCER and HELLER'S powers in the last fight.Like the fight was taken place in such a constricted area Moreover you cannot use your devastator at your will.when it is directed in the screen only at that time you can use devastator.Is it fair for the PLAYERS.The fight should have taken place in the whole red zone. And speaking about Mercer's full potential and all powers and combos achieved throughout the series, either way Heller would win because of his WILL and other plus points.Alas they made the last fight a trifle😢 Speaking about powers I know how much powerful Heller is like he literally killed a Brawler with a knife 🔪 and dodged a hijacked helicopter with no powers. Had it been somebody else, he would have died before entering the red zone.He is indeed the latest and improved version of Blacklight.Also he had tendril powers and bio bombs which pulls everything in its way which is better than Mercer's metal suit and Muscle mass(good for nothing). Moreover the will power of Heller to save his daughter was much stronger than anything else. Again Mercer fans argue that 1)he had survived a nuke which is wrong because he was coming away from that nuke that means he haven't even taken the full blast which disintegrated his body before the virus consumed the crow. 2)Again he had got a lot of mutant power "by himself (not by consuming others)" (Critical pain devastator,Iron fists,the combos which makes him more flexible) but he literally struggled with his powers. Eg- i) for finishing a tank in one go =hammerfist+space(gain height near the tank)+right click whereas for Heller he just needs to ride a tank (E+right click) and the tank is destroyed ii) defensive powers of Heller was much stronger than Mercer as he could parry every strikes in a perfect time with his double shields which Mercer couldn't. 3) He had consumed Supreme Hunter that's the horrible mistake of the fans. He haven't consumed that parasite Blacklight resists that Parasite, that was Gerene's body waste which rejected it.Alex killed Supreme Hunter *And there are many such examples to support your point* But if the word "was stronger" is used in broad sense i.e on the basis of flexibility, Strength, Battle IQ it is evident from the series itself that who is stronger. 1) Mercer had stronger offensive powers which made him a monster (according to you) like critical pain devastator, tendril barrage devastator, Ground spike using claws(easy to dodge) etc. 2) Mercer is more flexible (if you play P1 you will see his movement like gliding and landing (and mostly crawling in the walls like Spiderman) is much more smoother than P2). If you watch P1 combat upgrades carefully most of those combos can not be used in P2. You may light upon the fact that Heller can dodge enemies more easily P1 also Heller can use blades more smoothly. Mercer can not yeah that will be a good argument about P1 Mercer but what about P2 mercer after consuming the evolved's. He could do everything Heller could.Moreover(I am not sure) his health bar might be affected by such consumption.This proves him to be *more stronger* in terms of offense but his defensive powers decreases his agility.And Heller on other hand struggled in time barred locomotion side missions and he could use devastator only once but his amazing dodging system and Double shields overcomes his problems and makes him more powerful in terms of defence However every negative things have some positive points.For example in P1 you will feel that you can not save people and your actions are creating fear amongst them but in P2 you can hold and release NPCs at your will not only that in free roam you can even save people from zombie attacks rescue them to safer location. Lastly as I said I am not a fan and I even anticipate using cool mods to turn the story. Some are terrible like Grapple Slam of Mercer is only applicable for Hunters and nothing else.

I just wanted to mitigate the tensions between the fans 😒 but now I feel ... this approach is not going to work out.
