Is there any functional way to have it reverse proxied with a domain? I managed to set it up all fine, webpage world loads, forwarded the port, and I can access it with the IP and port. However, I was wondering since I am using Cloudflare and Nginx (I tried with both of them), how can I map it to a functional subdomain in order not to give the IP address. As for how I tried to use the proxies, inside the server I created a hostname or proxy host for the same IP and the port that it is on. It loads a bit long, but then it gives fail message, as if I am right there but not quite. Would love a video from you explaining this topic man. Thank you!
Trying to figure out how to get the java version to change in UnRaid, seems like the nice dropdown for java version doesnt work even though i have multiple versions of java intalled on the host
I have a mc server that i used to run through the terminal(tmux) and im trying to import it into crafty. Im having troubles doing that. Can you make a tutorial for that?
Yeah, not sure if reverse proxy can do it without ports but VPN 100% can do it, google Tailscale, you can create a VPN and your firends can be added to it and you will be on the same virtual network thus VPN and yo ucan connect without forwarding NOTE that you all need to use Tailscale for that matter! Also google DuckDNS it is a DDNS but I think it will only work if you port forward I am not 100% sure
@@daniswastaken my port forwarding started working out of nowhere, so now I can run a server. Best tips are, make sure nothing else is interfering with your ports, (check if anything else is using the same ports) and make sure you are adding the open ports to the right computer. I think I was opening the ports on the wrong IP/computer and that's why I couldn't run the server. Still don't know exactly what I did, though. Good luck, hope you get it working.
How do you make a hardcore bedrock world with crafty controller?

Great guide. My ISP doesn't allow port forwarding, is there a way around this to be able to host a MC server?

Port forwarding hates me I can't connect to the server no matter what I try. Good video though hopefully I can figure it out.
Did you figure it out? I also had the same problem, I can't use port forwarding
try playit.gg no port forwarding needed
@@BarmineTech I use that one, but the issue is high ping. I think it will be better if using port forwarding
then you’ll have to figure out how to get the port forwarding to work right

are you using http or https, i believe it only connects via https
@@BarmineTech i always use https and always worked. this issue happened just today
@creamsn3 strange, maybe try rebooting the server if possible and see if that helps. maybe it’s hung up
super thanks
Is there any reason this would be better than docker desktop?
less virtualization
hi, where do I find my ip adress for my minecraft server? Or else the vid is nice!
it’s the same ip crafty controller runs off of
Is it better to have Crafty in Proxmox Container Docker (Portainer) or thru the Ubuntu Server VM?? Thx in advance
running it off the ubuntu vm is prob better since you’d be virtualizing through docker then again with crafty in a sense
What about ubuntu in a LXC container in proxmox @BarmineTech ?
