Bioshock had a very great storyline, the choice mechanic was a bit.... lackluster, but the storyline itself is incredibly deep and fascinating. Definitely a gem of last generation.
They should bring all three BioShock games to the 8th-generation consoles with the following features and enhancements: -all the DLC from all three games -New Game Plus -carry over saves from the 7th-generation -better visuals (native 1080p, higher resolution textures, and etc) -default 60fps (but still have the option for 30fps) -and etc
All three games default to 60 fps on PC and (Bioshock 1 being the exception) all have 1080p resolution textures. They all also have a 1080p resolution enabled, but again, Bioshock 1 is just upscaling. New Game Plus doesn't make much sense if only because none of these games have anything you could really add of significance. The DLC thing and a re-release on new consoles isn't a bad idea, it's just I think we could wait another generation before doing so (where people won't have played certain classic titles).
***** I want a New Game Plus because I'm tired of starting from scratch when I start a New Game. I want to have all my: -weapon upgrades -plasmids/vigors(and their upgrades) -health and EVE/salts upgrades -research progress and upgrades -all the collectibles -and etc I want to start each New Game more powerful than before.
I’m on my first playthrough. I watched a couple on twitch play this. So, I knew how to play and saw the good ending. I regret watching the entire game, no surprises. However, experiencing it for yourself is a lot different than seeing it on twitch. I didn’t play this when it first came out. I bought the remastered collection. So, I was wondering if little sisters are children of parents who lived in Rapture, but the parents died and the children became orphans? That’s a lot of orphans in any case.
The darker way to look at it is their parents didn't care because they were busy pursuing their dreams and talents. Bioshock one is Ayn Rand taken to it's logical (and extreme) conclusion.
There are a few audio logs about one mother talking to the dad saying their child is missing and they need to find her. She later sees her child in a brainwashed state and recognises her but the father doesnt think it's her iirc. Later on they commit suicide due to dispair. The bioshock wiki has an article about her : Masha Lutz. So while initially the little sisters were real orphans, later on, it became kidnappings basically.
Kill and Harvest were just terms I was using. Basically, Kill was meaning you Harvested every little sister. Harvest was a mix between Harvesting and sparing. The reason I used two terms was because I was seeing "Harvest" the way a farmer would see it - I suppose. In a, I'll take what I need, but not more so I have something left.
Did you just reply to me on a 6+ years video? 😂😂 Also yeah no sisters at all except the first one which you are forced to do Will it change depending on if you harvested or rescued the first girl?
the good ending is beautiful i like how everyone who was good got what they deserved the little sisters got to live normal lives and you get to leave.

They released Bioshock: The Collection. It's like they heard your prayers. :D
What was the difference between the first and the second?
Just the tone of voice really.
