Ogie recently and secretly helped a blind singer to sing in France Got Talent I'll look for the link Dan. And Regine is helping an ailing lady singer whom she used to compete with, Eva Castillo.

ogie alcasid is one of the best opm songwriters if not the best. almost all of the biggest opm hits were penned by him, and most of regine's tagalog songs that are already iconic were from him. safe to say that ogie knows well that his wife is one of the best singers the philippines ever produced..
He's a mellow singer, actually (all love songs). One of his compositions was covered by Thalia of Mexican telenovela fame, when she came to the Philippines and heard it on the radio.

Most of Regine's hits are composed by none other than Mr. Ogie himself. BTW, this is one of their duets (one of my fav). The vid is not in HD but the sound quality is good. ogie will never be threatened by regine bwcause he is more accomplished than Regine. He is not only an excellent singer but also a great composer. Almost al if not alll his compositions became famous and were sang by many famous filipino singers. He is like a david foster.
How is Ogie more accomplished than Regine when Regine is more successful overall? She is also more famous, loved and idolized than him. Even Ogie himself admitted in an interview that Regine is the star of their family. Ogie is a great songwriter though, I will not take that away from him. 😊
