I'm a collectible to and I have me action figures Open and I painted to when they come up messed up from the factory, so do what you like and love to do if you want to get it on plastic to take care of your stuff do it QUEEN 👑❤
I Love how You have the mental discipline to never sell Your most prized possessions!! Preservation of Your collecting and hobby!! 2 thumbs up Queen!! 👍 👍
I personally, wouldn't get anything graded, I'd be fine with an acryilic case. Though, I don't see a problem with it if you do, it's your stuff so do with what you want. I think the only problem was when people losing their minds spending hundreds of thousands to millions on a graded game like it was the new best thing to invest in.
Whats valuable to me?: Family, knowledge, health. I had the entire series 2 marvel cards (except maybe 2 holograms) in a binder in sheets. I protected them cause they were valuable to me and my friends. Hurricane Andrew came along and destroyed them. Found the binder and the cards were sticking to the sheets, damaging them. Protect what you feel is valuable.
I dont care about grading. I collect things i like and if i wana open it up and play with it i will lol 😎i dont collect to sell later if price goes up i just collect for the joy cuz i like to
“Value is in the eye of the beholder.” I think that is the best point. To each their own. Especially if someone else didn’t put $5 on the purchase of said item. I’m sure I have plenty of stuff in my various collections that I adore but would make people scratch their heads. But IDGAF. 🤷🏿♂️
Your property is your business, and your estimation is the final call, unless you acknowledge that you care enough to get it evaluated by a "better person", ie graded by a top tier collector or by a respected organization that does that. I don't have graded things, nothing in a that fancy of a box. My stuff is mostly not for sale either, but I do recognize the condition of each or most, so if you wanted to make your own grade system, go for it! I have a lot of straight from retail items, as well as antique mall items. Be a Toy King or Toy Queen, represent for your team, just know which team you choose and if you change teams, or are part of multiple teams, own it. Don't get crazy about personalities vs properties.
Hey Queen definitely preserve them as they are special to you. At the end o lf the day its not about grading, its more about protecting what is close to you
Here I am! I'm excited for this review on this video of these collections!! Thanks so much for always sharing with us 🎉🎉🎉🎉 You're absolutely amazing QueenG22 💜💥🎮🕹️
I’m a tmnt maniac. I like the way you go about your collection. I’d too would prefer graded collectibles. It’s a good way preserving the figures and it’s authenticated 💯. ❤️
Idk if grading is a scam. There was a controversy about it I heard. The controversy was ppl spent, thousands to 1 million dollars on graded super Mario Bros. 3. The buyer claims that the grade, was higher than it should've been. That's as far as I know about that. If you're not looking, to sell something down the line, I say no it's not a scam. Like with everything else ppl spend their money on, as long as you're happy with it, i don't think it's a scam.
As a video game and high-end statue collector, this all looks familiar to me. We all start saying "we won't sell / get rid of anything..."but one day it will happen. If its not for financial reasons its going to be a logistic situation like space limitations. As for grading, I don't really care for the practice, but to each their own. At the end of the day no one will care about your collection more than you, so I say collect what you like how you like.
What's Goodie Queen 👑💜 I think you presented some valid points on the grading topic and keeping things in a box or not. For me, it's too much money to get things graded and I rather just get a protective case for things I don't want to open. Plus you can't always trust the grading companies to handle your stuff with care. I love the way you have your collection set up tho. It gives me some great ideas. Anyways, stay safe and I wish you a blessed week ahead.
@thequeeng2282 you're welcome! I might actually get my He-Man 40th Anniversary figure graded and my Batman Animated Series Mr. Freeze graded by that company you mentioned in this video. I definitely don't want dust to get to those boxes lol 😅
Happy Sunday Thequeeng22. I hope your weekend has been going well. I like the sweater of the Nintendo controller. As well the hat (grey). It looks dope. Another great video. And I hope you have a lovely day. Stay safe, stay positive, stay blessed, take care and stay amazing.
I haven’t really found anything i love so much that i want it graded. I’m an open and play with it kinda dude. But i understand why people want to. Maybe I’ll find something someday i was preserved.
I like open figures I can put accessories with and display and enjoy. I only have a few boxed mostly modern so grading and sealing isn't really worth it yet. My favorite is to find figures still on card that the bubble has completely or nearly completely separated. Then you get everything but don't have to feel bad displaying it loose. But that's me.
Hey G. 👋 Does Turtles stuff make a lot of money then? Im neither here nor there with grading. I invest and collect videogames and consoles, buying them while they're cheap, storing them, and then selling them years later when the price skyrockets. However, I have never had anything graded. I just store it sealed.
Grading is a very (and i do mean very) subjective topic. First off preservation is awesome in any form. Everything degrades as is life. Regardless of what a guy in Ohio thinks its current value is at , 20 yrs from now it will not be the same even if its in the same case. Until we can cryogenically archive toys and games what ever means you take for preservation are the right steps
Maybe grading is a scam. Maybe it artificially inflates the market. I don't care that much, its really about the collector's preference. I have collector friends who buy old figures solely to open them. That said, I am starting to get interested in graded figures.
I love your videos, but you dont have to stick to TMNT on TH-cam to make it, even though thats what you originally got your channel on. But you will see and find your groove. Good Luck Homie!

I never cared for grading. After my 7th grade teacher hit me w/the Gandalf.
" You shall not pass!" 😅
I think a hardcover collection of the card back artwork from the figures, vehicles, and accessories would be a really a cool coffee table book.
I Love how You have the mental discipline to never sell Your most prized possessions!! Preservation of Your collecting and hobby!! 2 thumbs up Queen!! 👍 👍
I don’t sell SH*T. 😆😆😆 Thank you 💜
You’re very welcome Queen!! 💜

Spend how you please. It’s your collection! They do display nicer with the case and that lil graded sticker. 😁
Right! 😉💜

Happy New Year Queen. Keep doing your thing, going to be a great year for you and the channel!
💜💜💜
GRADE!! If it’s not good enough to be slabbed I don’t want it! Preserve’s my item & adds a little value - no brainer! 😀
It’s your prerogative 🎶
If they did Saturday Night Fever Leo I would probably get that graded!
Ok. That would be kinda cool tho. 😆👌🏾💜

If you're trying to preserve the condition of your carted toy or loose then grading is the way to go but if not then i wouldn't bother

You are so welcome! 💜

I’m the collector who likes to get my items in a tougher case. I ruin plastic, it just doesn’t last for me. Now I got to take it out the box. 🎉
I feel you ! 😉💜

It’s easy for me. I’m an out of box collector, but will keep a rare or special figure in box or on card if it means more to me. Then get it graded.
Same. 😉😎💜
Do whatever makes you happy 😊

If your heart says preserve it. Shit do it imo!
Right! 😉💜

I feel that. I’m usually an “open that sh*t up” type of girl. 😆😆😆🤷🏾♀️
I gotta free my homies from prison

You should do it the collab
Serious question. Can you hook me up with a job where you work? DEAD CEREAL!
