I’m surprised you don’t have JIS screwdrivers and bits yet. They are total game changers. Can’t recommend them highly enough for all cross point style fasteners, both Phillips and JIS. I got a set and after using them one day retired every Phillips screwdriver I have except the monster long ones. 🔧👍
This one was fun. Looks like you’ll make out pretty good on this one. Can’t wait to see it cleaned up and “polished” like you normally do. Thanks for posting.
That carb had alot of Iowa ethanol in it! Looks like you got it cleaned pretty well. Part 2 will tell the tale. The engine seems in good shape. Alex thanks for another great video my friend! 👏📽🇺🇸
Good grief it was a mess. I really thought I had it fixed but I’m working on part 2 and hoping to get it dialed in. I hope you are well my friend. Things are good here but busy busy per the normal.
This is the first of your videos I have watched. I hope this is Part #1 with more Part(s) to follow until completion of the project. Really keen to see them. I have a '88 Big Bear that needs a little TLC. This video has already helped a bunch!!!👍
Great job on cleaning that carb up, wow you done a great job on it. Thank you for using the OEM carb!! So many people are lazy and just get a cheap chinese carb and put on them. I'm an OEM guy too. You get a rebuild kit in that carb and it'll be running like new again.
I’m having issues that I’ll show in the part 2 with the oem carb. I’m going to try a few more things but I would much rather run oem than aftermarket if I can. I’ve got an Amazon carb I’m going to try in the mean time but thank you for the support. Currently working on part 2.
Hello Alex, what I like is that you at least clean the engines a bit at the beginning. I never understand why fingering always in debris when it’s possible quite easily to blow away the dirt first and the start with the repair.
I think the thing I dislike most about your videos is that I can't watch one everyday!! This will be cool to see finished. Great content as usual. Keep em coming. The channel is doing well!
Hello 👋 I am watching your videos 📹 and I was thing that you should buy a good pro neck thing so you are not struggling with turning the wheel on the lawn mower I'm not being a nick I'm just saying and i am enjoying your videos.
Yea I’m not exactly sure what all the changes were, but seemed like they were a mix of a warrior and a big bear. I’ve got a warrior here and a big bear 350. I plan on doing a video on a few of the machines I have here.
Since this only has two wheel drive I suspect it would be more useful on your property as a utility vehicle for towing a trailer and dead machines around. Maybe better than using a lawn tractor.
Rocks power sports has a similar machine. That he has been working on. Believe it's a 350 Big Bear, of the same vintage. As it is also sporting 'real life' camouflage Seat foliage. 🥦☘☘🍃🍁😂
Haha. I watched his the other day. That seat looks like it came from the swamp. I also have a big bear 350 here I’ll be working on over the winter. Fun machines, and helping me bring some different content.
Did I understand correctly that in order for the neutral safety to work a functioning bulb needs to be in place? Somehow that sounds a little weird, but what do I know?
No it'll start without a bulb in it. I've got a moto 4 350 and mine has been out for years. I wondered why he didn't just hit the starter button to see if it would turn over before he tore it apart to see if the bulb was out. It would have told him the same thing.
I should have just checked to see if it would crank instead of jumping into troubleshooting. I just wanted to know the lights were working and it wasn’t grounding out from a neutral safety.

Doing my best on this one. Hoping it will turn out nice in the end. It was certainly rough.

You got a lot done on your four-wheeler I'll be looking for the next video thank you for this video
She wants to live! Awesome work so far bud, can't wait to watch pt 2 👍🏻
Look forward to seeing part 2. Good find on this one.
Thank you. Working on part two as we speak.
I have learned so much from your videos! Please keep them coming!
Will do. Thank you very much!

Thank you so much. I wish I could make enough content for that. I’ll keep bringing them as quickly as I can.
If that carb is "similar" to the one on my Yamaha Warrior, I think that small diaphragm is for the accelerator pump. Those are fun quads.
Thank you. I’ve worked hard on this one but it’s being a pain for sure. I really don’t want to go aftermarket.
Hopefully it can be saved but if it not possible they can be saved for other things or something great video good luck with it
I’m really trying to make it a solid machine again. Thanks for watching.

I often wondered why Yamaha changed from the Timberwolf to the bear tracker. They are essentially the same machine but they dropped the 4x4 version

Man, nice should have squired some oil in the sparkplug hole !
I had forgot to mention in the video but I did put a squirt of pb blaster in the cylinder since it had sat for so long. Thank you!
@@freedommowers420 man, nice 💯 !
Try heat on the plastic to bring the color back.

YO 4WHEELIN N SCREAMIN OK 2 WHEELIN
Yee yee 😎
That carburetor is definitely nasty 🤢 Alex
Really bad shape. This quad has certainly been a project. Been struggling every step of the way.
@@freedommowers420 I saw that carburetor was NASTY 🤮🤢
Busch beach that's where braydon price rides
Yes I’ve seen a few TH-camrs that ride up there. I’m about an hour from Goldsboro.
Simply the dirtiest carb I have ever seen 😷
nice video but the repairs are very labor intensive.
your girls have to be 16 yrs old to legally ride this thing
No, they do not.

No it will crank with a blown bulb. I just started trying to see if the electrical was working. I should have just tried it to start with.
