Interesting. Is there something like a underwater drone with a fishing spear attachment? I imagine that it would be nice to just lurk and shoot the fish your want instead of waiting for a random one to bite. It shouldn't be too hard to engineer like a remote trigger mechanism or even have a way to retract the spear using a motor to be triggered and shot again.
Lol, I spent the whole video shouting at the monitor "Presentation"!!! This is actually an amazing way to test, and "prove" things about fishing, and especially presentation. Why not fish like you are for 20 min, and get the footage, then take the same bait, but hide the hook better and see if there's any difference.. Some other things to try (and forgive me, I don't know how much fishing experience you have so I might just be lecturing the best technique for egg sucking to the elderly here).. Try using some leader sink paste you use for fly fishing to rough up the leader a little, and use fluro carbon leader. Also maybe figure out a way to free line it, or let the whole setup sink at a slow rate so the bait doesn't just sit unnaturally in the water.. Basically, try out as many variables as you can... See what works. What is it about the bait and the presentation that makes the tiddlers come pecking, but keeps the bigger fish away? The one thing that stands out to me the most is the hook presentation, like fish have pretty good eyesight, and if you think about it, predatory fish keep away from things with obvious hard spines, that's why fish have them for protection, so the more "Spiney" something looks, the less likely they are going to want to put in in their mouths. Anyway, thanks for the video, you got a sub from me just cos this is interesting, and it's kinda helping me figure out how to make an ROV of my own.
Good Idea
Awesome footage

U should use one of the rechargeable swim baits lol
can you put a tiny harpoon gun on the drone
What brand of drone is this?
