I was a sailor in 1967 on the uss kitty hawk, and would always accept hospitality of the lovely filipino people. so naturally when offered a ballot i gladly accepted. my hosts were surprised at my bravery, having a good idea of how most americans would react, and actually said we will turn the lights out for your first ballot. It was hard to get it down i have to admit, but when the lights came on and they asked me how i liked it, i replied. being a gracious visitor, great thank you, so they promptly gave me another. well by the third or fourth and a few san miguell beers, i started to enjoy them.

i am curious as how clean the place from duck poop as they are confined within a small area. also how many times do you feed the duck per day. do you have to drive the ducks inside the room where the eggs are collected.
rafael hontiveros yes you are correct.. but i am regularly putting rice hull to absorb their poops... i am changing it weekly and selling it at 10php per sack because it is the best fertilizer for the rice field
How much would be the daily cost of production sir? Salary, feeds, electricity, water, the rice hulls, vitamins? Will the 8 peso per egg enough to gain a profit? Thanks

Many asked how much is the starting capital of this business...My answer is it depends. In my case i bought adult ducks that are ready to lay eggs. It cost 120php/ duck multiplied by 2000= 240k duck cost add hausing and fencing 30k add imcubator homemade 15k total more or less 300k. Just be careful when buying ducks because they might give the culled ducks i mean the old ones...better buy ducklings it cost 45php each....
