One thing to remember about Old Town Spring: the majority of the buildings there were relocated old abandoned buildings from other parts of Southeast Texas. Many of which were haunted and those entities did stay within the building and haunt those buildings today.
By the way there is even an old steam engine near by off of Aldine Westfield Rd, between Bayer Rd and Caroline St. But I think the land it sets on is privately owned.🤔
@@ScottDaileyTH-cam Hello, Scott You can see the steam engine on Google maps. It's hard to see on the Earth view since the photos old. But if you use street view in the area I mentioned with the little yellow person you can see the steam engine behind an old metal building right off of Aldine Westfield Rd. You see one steam engine on the right and a boiler on the far left of the property and behind the boiler are remnants of an old flywheel. From what I can see the property owners have done a lot of work on clearing the old buildings and structure which is why I've grown concerned as to what they intend to do with the old steam engine and whether or not they are working with the preservation group of Old Town spring that you mentioned in your video. I hope it is still there, and that you can make a great video about it. Thanks for making your video series.
From Labor Day1970, l grew up four miles west of Spring.l lived about a city block south of Spring-Cypress Rd. in a neighborhood where all the streets are named after vegetables. Google map this iffen ya don't believe me. People always thought it was funny. It would piss my dad off when paying by check because we lived on Tomato St. Always a smart-aleck remark.

We ate dinner at the "Loose Caboose" restaurant just yesterday in spring, texas. Great shops and places to eat. Old town feel.
I live in the area and Old Town Spring is a great place shop and Eat. And it's true you feel like your in small town and not a suburban area.
Another cool video! Keep it up, Scott.

International and Great Northern Railroad, now Union Pacific.
There are plenty of old All American towns across this great land. We are just in the cracks and crevices and want to be left alone.
