@@londonjackson8986 I wish you were able to read the original novel in Chinese. Lots of things were lost in translation. I’m bilingual in Chinese and English. When I was able to read some of the English classics in its original language , I realized the Chinese translations I read as a child cannot compare, vice versa. Also understand the culture and history can help you to pick up hidden references and deeper meanings.
As long as the developers make money from this game, they will continue to make greater things like this. They don't need any approval from the west media, just enough economic power to go forward would be enough for them. Also, they know the gaming community loved this game.
The game industry is way bigger now than the movie industry, as long as it wins the best score & music at the game awards that's gonna be far more prestigious than any oscar ever. I mean he called himself, Sheng Ying Dawang (lit. "Sage Infant Great-King") and even after Wukong, Muzha (Nezha's Older Brother) & Guanyin trick him into that Horrific Lotus-Flower Sword Trap, that Brat was still daring enough to try to sneak-attack & kill the Bodhisattva (Guanyin) with his 18ft Long Fire-Tip Lance, he obviously didn't succeed by the way! He's ironically not too far off from his Ex-Sworn Uncle! If you know, you know... Where was I going with this? Oh, Yeah! "Flames Have Paved My Way" just fits Red Boy's Character...

He wanted to seek revenge against the heaven for his destroyed nation, but his parents refused to let him die because of everything he had experienced, so the family turned against each other. At Red Boy‘s final phase, the Yaksha King bears the fate of the entire Yaksha race, which is why music is so intense. In the end, he would rather commit suicide than surrender to the heaven , and his parents sadly witnessed everything.

As a Chinese player, I would like to point out that many of the track titles are excerpts from the poetries or character dialogues in the original text of the novel "Journey to the West." For us Chinese players, this provides a memorable point for the tracks, making it easier to associate them with the plot, whether it's in the game or in the original novel. However, some of the track titles have lost their original meaning after being translated into English. It's clear that this is a very challenging task for translation, and it's unlikely to be perfect. For example, 1:28:51 Zodiac Deities might suggest that it's a track used for a boss battle against a zodiac deity or something similar. But in reality, it's a tranquil and serene piece of music which used in the Zodiac Village. The Chinese title of this track is "六六少翁商" which is taken from a poetry in Chapter 17 of "Journey to the West." Translating this verse far exceeds my English proficiency; I can only say that the content of the verse is closely related to the Chinese name of the village "六六村" , the characters "六丁六甲" in the village, and the function of the village (the meaning of the verse is related to Taoist alchemy, and the NPCs in the village provide medical services).
Top-notch! How the composer managed to bring the old melody from the TV series in 1986 into the modern gaming world is unparalleled! Wukong will be the only candidate I vote for as the best gaming music of the year!

That two heavenly beings will go to such lengths to prove it one way or another, might it also be happening in our universe right now? And then the questions just keep growing from there, on the nature of gods and demons, of the universe itself. When I was able to read some of the English classics in its original language , I realized the Chinese translations I read as a child cannot compare, vice versa. "Sage Infant Great-King") and even after Wukong, Muzha (Nezha's Older Brother) & Guanyin trick him into that Horrific Lotus-Flower Sword Trap, that Brat was still daring enough to try to sneak-attack & kill the Bodhisattva (Guanyin) with his 18ft Long Fire-Tip Lance, he obviously didn't succeed by the way! He's ironically not too far off from his Ex-Sworn Uncle! If you know, you know...

He wanted to seek revenge against the heaven for his destroyed nation, but his parents refused to let him die because of everything he had experienced, so the family turned against each other. At Red Boy‘s final phase, the Yaksha King bears the fate of the entire Yaksha race, which is why music is so intense. In the end, he would rather commit suicide than surrender to the heaven , and his parents sadly witnessed everything.

As a Chinese player, I would like to point out that many of the track titles are excerpts from the poetries or character dialogues in the original text of the novel "Journey to the West." For us Chinese players, this provides a memorable point for the tracks, making it easier to associate them with the plot, whether it's in the game or in the original novel. However, some of the track titles have lost their original meaning after being translated into English. It's clear that this is a very challenging task for translation, and it's unlikely to be perfect.
For example, 1:28:51 Zodiac Deities might suggest that it's a track used for a boss battle against a zodiac deity or something similar. But in reality, it's a tranquil and serene piece of music which used in the Zodiac Village. The Chinese title of this track is "六六少翁商" which is taken from a poetry in Chapter 17 of "Journey to the West." Translating this verse far exceeds my English proficiency; I can only say that the content of the verse is closely related to the Chinese name of the village "六六村" , the characters "六丁六甲" in the village, and the function of the village (the meaning of the verse is related to Taoist alchemy, and the NPCs in the village provide medical services).
