Buddha was neither hindu nor Buddhist he was an enlightenment Human being, his teachings are meant for humanity! SN goenka said he never ever started a new religion but taught dhamma ie. Universal law to come out of suffering! People with sectarian mind set call themselves hindu/muslim/Buddhist/Christian etc but the nature has made us just Human being thats all! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Gautama seeked and practiced yoga. He misunderstood and went outward at first but then realized it's within and went inward, became enlightened and became a yogi. The shoonya knowledge was started and taught in yoga. Those who mastered yoga is called yogi. If you are open minded and follow true Yogi's teachings including Gautama, they all say the same thing. They all are against preaching religions. Inward is the only way. 🙏
Caste system is not hinduism thing.its a social thing a monk in hinduism has no caste. I am not spreading hate sorry but you have so many misunderstanding about hinduism and misunterstanding about your Dharma also. Be a Saint don't pretend 🙏
What nonsense, you have so much caste hatred in hinduism you even have a parashuram ax murderer to kill all kshatriyas. Most hindu monastics have to be brahmins by caste, including TM and the sankara maths.
@RockciiBarbosa All Buddhist are not monk or saint who practice meditation or yoga Daily basis. All hindus are not saint or monk also. When you become a monk or saint in hinduism there is no caste system. You are talking about priest ok priests are also not saint or monk but if you are talking about the sanatana dharma it’s a path that's guide you to the path of awareness or guide you to the path of moksha and it has no connection with priests.
Hinduism (sanatan dharma/ eternal reality ) never says things are permanent. Your being is similar to every other being and is a part of supreme being. (Which is not lord brahma but Brahman (universe)) Things by their nature are impermanent. This video felt more like a defence of Buddhism and creating more division by splitting hairs rather than focusing on what ‘Buddhism’ should be, realisation of emptiness (shoonyata/ no self) or self realisation. Expected better from someone who is wearing a monk robe. For a person who claims to want to realise no self, this felt more like a egoic defense of a religion, which btw Gautama Buddha never advocated for a religion. His followers are the ones who made it into a religion.
if im not mistaken the issue lies in the conflict between the hindu atman and the buddhist anatman. the difference is that the atman is permanent and the anatman is impermanent. please correct me if i am mistaken.
Yes it does not say anything is permanent but according to Hindu texts there is atma and god/ishwar/bhagwan which are permanent as opposed to the texts in Buddhism or Dhamma , the teachings of Buddha
Atman is unchanging entity according to Adi sankaracharya himself in his book called tattvabodha and most of the hindu scriptures like bhagwat geeta, vedas and so on also define atman as unchanging permanent entity. In buddhism everything is impermanence, everything is changing, there is no such thing as unchanging (anatma) and emptiness. Many people understand emptiness (sunyata) as nothingness. One who study under real buddhist masters only can understand emptiness because emptiness is very profound subject. You mean followers and practitioners of buddhism have misunderstood the buddha and his teachings but somehow you understood? Most of the hindu gurus also provide falsities and fabrication about buddhism. Buddhism and hinduism is two different path what he is saying. There is nothing wrongly explained by monk.

Without caste no Hinduism. Only one caste has authority to be temple priest…

@ priest has all authority, they claim they killed off all ruling castes using an ax murderer.
Without a caste system in Hinduism is like without a potato in the samosas😊

@@CrustyQtipyou can’t call conflict, it is differences view on how you exist.
If you are better than Shankar Acharya, you are the man . Before open your mouth on Shankar views read them and ask to Veda acharyas,
