99% of the new projectors in a “ budget zone” are these portable-sounded-boxed ones. Would it be to much some manufacturers launch projectors for dedicated spaces with no compromise regarding aesthetic, built in speakers of portability?
Sorry, no. The difference between 100 and 150" is absolutely massive. These also support 3D properly so if you're into that you'll get a much better experience. The brightness of course will be much higher on the TV's but these will still get pretty bright. VA panels also typically have massive amounts of motion blur - I much prefer gaming on 4k 60hz on DLP over 4k 120hz on my VA mini LED (U8K), the response time on VA is just too slow for that refresh rate - especially in dark areas - up to 32ms (equivalent to 30hz) in fact! Now if we were talking OLED then yes, 4k/120hz is amazing, I love playing games on my OLED (LG C2), but it's not as immersive as a larger screen.
@@tbob2224 I guess game changer to me means changing the actual game.. If you can get a 100 inch mini led TV now cheaper and with arguably a better picture then a 120 projector set (brightness/HDR/144hz) why bother going thru all the hassle? 5 years ago a 100inch tv with decent mini LED contrast was $15k+.. much more then a decent 4K projector.. Now if you got a decent 100 inch tv in the lounge are you really going to be bothered to stick a movie on in the cinema room? Or even build a cinema room for that matter??? Ours hardly gets used since we got a new 85inch.
@@tbob2224 agreed. The other issue that a lot of people don’t think about is whether they can logistically fit 100 inch television in their house. It might fit in the space, but you have to figure out a way to get it upstairs around corners through hallways, etc. It’s a lot harder to do that than it is to move a projector into a room. In some cases, it won’t even be possible to fit 100 inch television.
Projectors are so much more flexible. Take it with you to a friend. Move to your next flat, without choosing the flat by if you can somehow ffs get the god damn giant tv into it. I'd never buy such a big tv if I didn't know for sure that I'll keep in that house until I die. Also, projectors use less energy. A TV of that dimensions will use ~400-500 Watt * hour. This valerion projector will be somewhere between 100-250

Is this better than the new JMGO N1 Ultimate ?
@@DigitalPlaygroundTV i have not had the pleasure of reviewing that one. But based on the contrast, this one should have much better contrast that is typically seen as a better overall picture. As I said in the video, though, I haven’t seen any projector in this price range that comes close with the quality this one offers.
Wow awesome review thx👍👍 did you see any kind of Rainbow Effect? Lovely greetings
Great video! You said it supports 24, but does that mean the projector properly support 24hz in addition to 23.976hz? What about Blu-ray 3D, any stutter or similar issues?
How does this compare to the epson 5050ub
Hi, thanks a lot for the review. Do you know if there's any current or planned smart home integration like Home Assistant? Would be very cool if things like zoom and so on are accessible.
@@0andrewwilson0 it is supposed to work with Google Home, Apple, HomeKit, Alexa, and control 4
How do you put the $50 deposit? Is that the same as the pledge amount
@@vinitpatel8617 no. You missed that. That was for a limited time before the Kickstarter began. Currently they have the early bird special, which is still a great deal. With most kickstart, the early bird special is only for so long and then the price gets raised again. So if you’re interested, I would pledge sooner than later.
Nice review. 🎉
How big of an image can i get at 11 feet away. I am looking for a image larger than 135 inches at 11ft away.
Currently considering a Benq tk710sti
@@ghfhghghgh according to their Facebook page if you go with the pro two or the max they have optical zoom that would allow you to place it around 105 to 173 inches. The Plus 2 would need to be around 140 inches
Over 150". Also consider optical vs digital zoom depending on the model.
Any DIY videos coming up? Forum has been pretty dead lately 😢
@@unknownspectre yes. I’m working on finishing the Atmos video this week. I also created a DIY polar response rig which I’ll have a video on. I have been just insanely busy this past month.
@@Toid patiently awaiting! I gifted my other atmos speakers to a friend for a bedroom setup (using as L/R, and he's AMAZED by them btw), so I'm looking forward to the next iteration. I actually passed up on buying DIYSG kits because I want to ACTUALLY DIY more speakers lol
How good is the wifi?
How does it compare to the Epson (price and picture)?
Great review! Did you notice any rainbow or laser speckle effects?
@@harrythehawk I did not. I will say that I am not particularly sensitive to rainbow effect. But I did not experience either.
Thanks for the Video!! Could you tell a little bit about the internal speakers? How do they sound and how do they compare to their Xgimi and Jmgo counterparts? The Jmgo N1S apparently sounds very good for what it is.
@@in4kdaysaroundtheworld380 i’ll have to listen more to the speakers. Honestly, I typically use external sound. However, I did use the internal speakers when I connected it directly to the Xbox X. it sounded fine and was more than loud enough for me. But I wasn’t critically judging it. I was just trying to enjoy playing some games. Thing I’ll say for sure is it doesn’t sound like a typical projector.
@@Toid I assume most people will use an external soundsystem, but I'm not planing to. Im changing places so often, that I want to have as little separat electronics as possible.
So I would be very happy about a bit more detailed sound review when possible. Thank you :)
This looks very promising. Thinking the Max will replace my Xgimi Horizon Ultra. Deposit in place.
Is this a short throw? If so, how far does it have to be from a 120" screen? Does the max version worth it? How do these compare to something like Hisense px3-pro?
@@RonenLin the max and the pro two have optical zoom. That means you can be anywhere between 94 and 156 inches. I do review coming out soon on the Hisense Px3
@@Toid so it's not a short throw projector like the px3-pro
Would you buy the base Valerion Plus model or the Dangbei DBOX02 if they are the same price?
@@davidgeorgion5764 I will have a side x side comparison video out soon. That way you can make that decision for yourself
What type of screen do you use to get the best out of a projector like this?
Really the screen choice is going to be up to you and your environment. I use an acoustically transparent screen.
At first How good is it Compared to something Like the epson ls12000b or formovie Theatre
PS: There is one thing that i have complain about, you said it‘s an 1300 Dollar Projector but its an 2500 Dollar projector to be fair 😬
Big Thx for the Review🙏🏾
When Hisense launched their 100” TV, it had an MSRP of $10k but sold for $3-4k. Was it a $10k TV? Or a $3-4k TV?
I think i missed this one 😕 was it comparable to other 10k tv‘s this size ?
I mean on paper the Valerien Visionmaster Max is was ahead of what the epson ls 12000b can do , or what AWOL Vision ltv-3500 can do 🤔
If the Details are right there is no need to sell it at this pricepoint
@@ramonlach1195 not true. epson ls12000b has i.e. native contrast of 4.800:1 and has laser dimming technology like EBL is laser dimming technology. VIsionMaster Max native contrast is >3k:1

It looks like vidda/Hisense sold their c1 device blueprints and they changed their design path with C2 series.
I wish all lifestyle projectors added a function that shifts the active image to the top or bottom of the screen and will buy the one that has this, or the best of them.
Does it require so much processing power or its just a simple function? You cant imagine how helpful it is with a masking system, because lens memory on a projector is not always accurate but this way projector stays idle and the image never looses alignment.
So far I have only seen madvr core, envy and lumagen processors do it, why not the projectors?
I mean they dont have lens shift this way they can get more home theatre clients. Its very inconvenient not having lens shift. And I mean all not the MAX version that does offer this function.
If valerion can transfer on screen what we see on paper I am so going for it.
Will the $50 deposit reserve for the max ?

99% of the new projectors in a “ budget zone” are these portable-sounded-boxed ones.
Would it be to much some manufacturers launch projectors for dedicated spaces with no compromise regarding aesthetic, built in speakers of portability?
no optical zoom at that price point? Jesus....
@@HowDareYouu what projector compares to this at this price point that has optical zoom?
The viewsonic LX700-4k Rgb is the closest model I can think of. I really hope the AWOL team looks at supplying a 1.6x zoom model also.
13 years ago I bought my Acer H7531D for 850€ with optical zoom
I am 1 for 4 on actually receiving a Kickstarter product, so ah, that’s a No for me.
If you are familiar with AWOL you will reserve one of these bad boys yesterday
I think the real game changer is 100 inch mini led tvs for under $2k now.. Makes projectors a bit pointless.
This valerion projector will be somewhere between 100-250
TV'S are SHIT
Compare to awol3500 pro please
