I’ve had an Indian Chief Jennings 25 cent slot machine for over 34 years, and have always been able to unjam it, but this time I couldn’t figure it out. Found your video, and for the first time learned about the ‘cam’ with the ratchet mechanization and with your instruction, was able to unjam it. I think it was over full and the tube was filled to the max. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and knowledge!

I have a 10 cent Indian Chief. Kids jammed it and though I always was able to fiddle with the guts and get it freed up, I couldn't this time. BUT...your amazing instructive video did the trick and all is working just fine. I appreciate your sharing your expertise and posting this.

Hoping someone reading this has a suggestion on how to fix my issue with a Jennings Chief machine. I'm able to manually cycle the machine but the escalator doesnt move. If I drop a dime in, it just sits there and won't advance when cycling the machine. Any thoughts?

i have a Jennings standard chief
it "froze" during a regular playing session; i took it out of the case and the mechanism looks like it got stuck in a cocked position.
pushing on the handle would not complete the operation.
how can i get it unfrozen?

How to adjust timing fan for a longer spin cycle? How to adjust speed of handle return?

To make the reels spin longer you need to make the clock run slower. To do this straighten out the blades. The straighter they are the slower the clock will run. Regarding the handle. If you machine is connected to a pump (bottom left of cabinet) you should be able to screw in a nut which will allow less air in and make the handle return slower. If the pump is all gummed up you might have to remove it and clean it.

Spot On. Great video's. I have 1939 Jennings Indian Head. Top original condition. Not in a rush to push play. More time to enjoy the wheel spin.

I know you don't reply to messages but can you make a video on removing the coin mech and full dissemble and reassemble of it. Your advice only goes so far but if its jammed internally your advice wont be much help. Thank you for the video love the machine what a beautiful piece of American made craftsmanship

Can you make a video of how to fix a machine that won't payout? A friend has a Club Chief 25 that quit paying out a few years back. It just looks a bit gummed up, but I don't know.
