I would be curious if Babu or Raeen know about the Bhopal disaster in 1984. It's got nothing to do with Chernobyl, it was an explosion of a chemical plant. But it caused more deaths than the Chernobyl, it's considered the most lethal industrial accident.
Oh geez, I just rewatched Chernobyl last week! I don’t know how long the video will take, since it’s a six-parter and each episode is 45 minutes. Still, heavily recommended
They get it. Even from their walks of life, they understand the dilemma of Mutually Assured Destruction and not only the toll on life but also any individual’s conscience who was part of the construction and decision. Human stuff right there. Good on these two.
I am wondering if they understand the complexities of Oppenheimer’s marriage to Kitty, how and why she remained staunchly behind him despite everything. She was a brilliant scientist in her own right, yet she was relegated to being housewife and mother while Oppie did his thing. And then, of course, there was Jean. And yet, she stayed. She CHOSE to stay. She was the one who yanked him out of his funk with a reality check when Jean died, and fought for him at the hearing.
It takes a lot of mental fortitude to process a movie with so many details, history/tech talk and characters. Luckily, those two have that fortitude secured.
I didn’t notice but did my dear friends recognize Robert Downey Jr/‘Tony Stark/Iron Man in this movie? I’m SO proud of Raeen! He recognizes directors and actors now! He knows Christopher Nolan did the ‘Batman’ films.
No they didn't. He is in his 50s now, and without that Tony Stark beard. So recognising would be difficult for them, especially if they don't know the casting.
My Russian future brother in law didn't recognize RDJ--He thought Strauss was played by Giancarlo Esposito because his bearing is so similar to that of Gus Fring! 🤣
Ludwig Goransson is the bones, and Cillian Murphy the muscles of the body of this film. Probably my favorite Nolan movie as it has something very real to say, which he often struggles to achieve concisely. Awesome to see these guys take it all in!
I remember how the sound effect of what turned out to be stomps kept building the anxiety everytime. And when the Trinity Test happened, it felt like the seconds slowed down. The fact that they pulled this off with practical effects showed what lengths Chris Nolan is ready to go through.
The first step was to prove a chain reaction could happen and be sustained. Enrico Fermi collected the proper amount of the necessary amount of an isotope of Uranium and a giant collection of bricks of black graphite, to contain the chain reaction. Fermi took over a squash court under the football stadium at a college in Chicago. After Fermi’s work was successful, the operation moved to Los Alamos, New Mexico where the Trinity Test was the first nuclear explosion in world history.
The amount of time that the movie was near silent when the bomb went off was the same amount of time in real life it took the sound waves from the bomb to reach the place where Oppenheimer was viewing from which was miles away from the explosion.

And the feelings and attitudes of everybody who took part. Real-life Oppenheimer interviews are a joy to watch, a true scientists, intelligent, soft-spoken, careful, and carrying enormous responsibility, and never taking any of it lightly.
Yes, I would love for them to see Godzilla Minus One. It's incredible even as a stand alone film without any knowledge of Godzilla films. Furthermore, roughly 99% of the people who died when the bomb fell were civilians. The US deliberately chose a civilian area as a test zone to see just how "effective" a nuclear bomb would be in future conflicts. However, as we see, not everyone was happy with the idea of killing innocents to end the war (or the idea of a nuclear bomb in general, fearing if it got in the wrong hands). What's more, Japan was already planning to surrender 7-9 days after the day the US planned to drop the bomb; rendering the need to use it pointless. When word got out that it was civilians who were killed, US citizens cried out in outrage, even high-ranking government and military officials were disgusted, declaring that the US was no less monstrous than those they were fighting against. In the end, the story of Oppenheimer is to warn that such a vile and devastating weapon was too dangerous to exist, let alone be used.
It was just US posturing to the USSR. Treating civilians as expendable and to murder them in such a foul, indiscriminate way was no better than the Japanese. I lay the blame at James F Byrnes who callously persuaded Truman to go ahead with it 😡

I’m not really the right person to explain this and I’m prepared to be corrected by those who know better. Albert Einstein was an absolute genius that made much progress in understanding the world of the VERY small; particle physics. Einstein’s most famous equation, e=mc2, means that the energy available in any particle, e, is equal to its mass, m, which is very, very small times the speed of light, c, squared or multiplied times itself. Translated into practical terms, it means several things: matter and energy are, essentially equivalent and it’s possible to turn matter into energy and vice versa. It also means that there’s a HUGE amount of energy in very small amounts of matter. If you blow a particle apart, as it explodes, it releases huge amounts of energy. If you manage to break apart sufficiently dense particles, such as isotopes of Uranium and Plutonium, will explode one particle, releasing pieces that hit other particles and split that one, leading to more energy being released; a chain reaction. What Oppie and his team didn’t know for sure was if a chain reaction would, at some point, end or if it would continue and continue destroying the entire world.
Did he really not notice Robert Downey jr ? That face and voice are so iconic to me that i could pick him up just by hos voice in the background. But then again Raeen still misses Stan Lee sometimes..
But they hear the characters dubbed in Hindi so they cannot recognize the original voices of the actors. The original version is only for TH-cam viewers.
@@samwallaceart288 yeah, they also geye the wrong story about Stan Lee. Hes not the maker of the films but the inventor of a lot of the characters from the comics. Bit they donr even get any info in the comics. And even if you can't read you need to see a documentary on the importance of comics in thw western world. They helped soldiers though a lot of wars, not just kids stuff. And Hitler even banned most of them because they made a fool of him for years like the cartoons did. But the story of Superman and Batman although DC is very important, but its just not told. They also dont get how bif something is. They see hanburgers from MacD and go yeah they like that in America. But if they heard what global dialy sales if MacD was they wouldn't get it. Just rhe sales in America would scare them. Same with the movies they watch, they definitely dont know that most of the films they watch are 200-300 million dollars movies that takes 2 years to make. They're not getting the impact on all that stuff. They even dint get cgi even though they have seen things about how a movie is made. When watching Transformers they went.. How do they find that much metal.? Now, in America you could easily find metal enough to make 1000 real sized transformers. But the fact here is.. Theres not a single drop of metal in these movies when it comes to the transformers. You got the cars and maybe a helicopter or two, but 95% of this stuff has never been there.. Hell the buildings and oceans in these types films dont tend to be there.. So when they say destruction all around im like.. Not really, a bent street sign maybe. 😎 I don't get why the guy doesnt feel they need to know this...
Very good film. Living and being raised in New Mexico, the atomic bomb resonates in the states history and culture. I made a trip, unknowingly, near the Trinity Site. I would not have known it if not for the signs on the side of the road. My next point of interest would be Los Alamos. Still hard to believe this development of this massive weapon took place here in New Mexico.
The real issue with nuclear weapons is the morality of their use. Of course America has an arsenal of nuclear weapons, but I believe both India and Pakistan have nuclear weapons which makes the conflict over Kashmir very scary. I visited France once and a guide told me that, in the event that either the US or the USSR, back in the Cold War, launching at each other, from the French point of view, they didn’t care who started it or why, France would launch all their weapons in BOTH directions. I have no way of knowing if that was true or even still is true but the notion that a 3rd or 4th nuclear-armed country might launch, though not involved in a nuclear exchange means, essentially, that we live in an absolutely doomed world hours from when the first missile leaves its silo no matter who is launching it or what its target is. It is possible that if one nuclear missile goes, they ALL go and that is the death of our world.
I dont think you guys have done it yet but have to recommend the movie "Glory". Starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman. Mabey the greateat American Civil War movie ever made.
That would be a trip. They'd probably miss half the Hollywood context behind the jokes and be even more confused than usual; but on the other hand lines like ". . . You grew hands?" are universal. I'm scared for their innocence but it would be interesting to see what sense and life advice they can make of it.
@@srbrant5391 That's what I don't understand. The movies they react to are subtitled in their language. But since Babu is illiterate how does he follow along?
Good idea but you can't just show The Godfather without context : that the Mafia is an old italian criminal organisation who was also exported to US America with all the Italian immigrants during the late 19th century and early 20th century and who controlled many aspects of crime in America such as drugs, alcohol, prostitution etc... A mysterious, almost invisible and very dangerous criminal italian organisation.
Sad that humans think of this as something to be proud of, when the odds are that nuclear weapons will destroy mankind sometime this century. It is more likely than plagues or climate change destroying us. We have already nearly begun a nuclear war by accident at least 12 times in the past 60 years. How long will our luck hold out? The 13th or 14th accident might cause the end of humanity.
Now you need to show them (maybe on the other channel) a mini-documentary of what happened in Hiroshima/Nagasaki so they can see the effects the bomb had on
I think it's best sometimes if someone explains them some facts on movies. Like Iron man on this movie. Or Thanos from Guardians of galaxy is same from Avengers movie
It's a topic and genre I'm highly interested in and I can confidently say that it's not anywhere near worth 5 hours of your time. I was highly disappointed to have paid 20 bucks to rent it. Although now, you can rent it for cheaper if you're dead set on watching it.
Why? They dont like disgusting horror movies. They prefer action movies or adventures or comedies. Why do you want to make them upset merely for your entertainment?
Nolan is a brilliant director. Although he dabbled into superhero films before, now superhero films are a mess and need planning to watch: so dear channel admin, here's everything you need to know: Right now we are in Phase 2 of Marvel... Keep going! But, before jumping into Phase 3, please show them the following Spider-Man 1 (2002) Spider-Man 2 (2004) Spider-Man 3 (2007) The Amazing Spiderman 1 (2012) The Amazing Spiderman 2 (2014) before dabbling into the MCU's Spiderman, they MUST know about the respective Spider-Man films that came before.. because MCU Spiderman has no origin story.. and them being villagers should know about the classical origin story before watching the newer Spiderman movies... plus, in phase 4 the two previous spider men show up!!! In phase 3, you can show them all the movies.. it's not too messy... But in phase 4 and 5, you cannot show them all of the films and TV shows, it's too much to keep track of, and phase 4 is generally hated by fans. So here's my list of phase 4 projects in release order. Everything with a "👍" is a must watch. Everything with a "😐" is optional. Everything with a "👎" is something you should skip altogether. Wandavision 👍 (important to the greater story) Falcon and the Winter Soldier 👍 (important to the greater story) Loki Season 1 👍👍 (must watch, very important) Black Widow 😐 (optional) What if season 1👎 (don't watch, zero connections with the bigger story, too much to keep track of) Shang Chi 👍 (good story although not totally optional) Eternals 👎 (you should skip it, it's not too important) Hawkeye 😐 (optional) Spider-Man No Way Home 👍👍👍👍 (must watch, very very important) Moon Knight 👍 (Not Too Important, but is very good) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness 👍 (important to the greater story) Ms Marvel 😐 (optional) Thor Love and Thunder 😐 (optional) I am Groot 👎 (not important whatsoever, it's a side show) She-Hulk 👎👎👎👎👎 (unimportant, worst show ever) Werewolf 👎 (skip it, unimportant) Black Panther 2 👍 (important, good story) Ant-Man 3 👍 (very important story, but not great) Guardians 3 👍 (good, must watch) Secret Invasion 👎👎 (unimportant, bad story) Loki Season 2 👍👍👍👍👍 (best show ever, very important) The Marvels 👎 (unimportant, skip it) Echo 👎 (unimportant skip it)
This set of coming attractions would kill any theatre. I hope the Patreons are kinder to this channel. Marvel comics were fourth rate cartoons for children when I was a 60s child. We worshipped the Warner Brothers lineup of Saturday morning cartoons, second place were the Disney features at children's matinées, we never missed the daily comics and the Sunday supplements but notably Peanuts, the TV holiday specials were amazing, money to spend on comic books was saved for Batman and Superman, also both on TV. When bored between issues of DC comics, we might get a Spiderman. 4th rate then, enhanced by technology to fourth rate films now.
It's not worth it really. I'm sure they're interested in movies with substance moreso than cgi eye candy. 90% are all just poorly thought out cash grabs at this point. With a few notable exceptions.

It's a testament to how his whole energy and demeanor are completely different here
But they hear the characters dubbed in Hindi so they cannot recognize the original voices of the actors. The original version is only for TH-cam viewers.
They don't hear the original voices, they have hindie version. But they recognized Cillian Murphy straight away !
@@glambertini4709 hindi, but yeah makes sense.. 😎
In case you don't know, this film is called "The Manhattan Project 🎉
Nice! You should show them a Godzilla movie sometime.
King Kong (2005) first, then the Monsterverse. That way the monsters keep getting bigger and it avoids an anticlimax.
@@Trazynn It would be fun to watch them react to any Giant Monster movie.
@@gwaltzilla Monsters. vs. Aliens would be a great start.
👇Petition to get them to watch Godzilla: Minus One! It would perfect for them to watch it after Oppenheimer!
You should show them Alexander (the great) movie
They should react to Spider Man (2002) movie
Will Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter be continued?
I dont think you guys have done it yet but have to recommend the movie "Glory".
Starring Matthew Broderick, Denzel Washington and Morgan Freeman.
Mabey the greateat American Civil War movie ever made.
Should show them Tropic Thunder movie.😅
That would be a trip. They'd probably miss half the Hollywood context behind the jokes and be even more confused than usual; but on the other hand lines like ". . . You grew hands?" are universal.
I'm scared for their innocence but it would be interesting to see what sense and life advice they can make of it.
Babu so proud Sanskrit is linked to India and Hinduism. I wonder if he can read it?
Unfortunately, Babu said that he himself is illiterate.
@@srbrant5391 oh, I see. That's an unfortunate shame,yes.
@@srbrant5391 That's what I don't understand. The movies they react to are subtitled in their language. But since Babu is illiterate how does he follow along?
@@Xcris_crosX They're dubbed, but we hear the original language.
Sir, make them watch The Godfather.
100%
Good idea but you can't just show The Godfather without context : that the Mafia is an old italian criminal organisation who was also exported to US America with all the Italian immigrants during the late 19th century and early 20th century and who controlled many aspects of crime in America such as drugs, alcohol, prostitution etc... A mysterious, almost invisible and very dangerous criminal italian organisation.
Wish Ruby had seen it with Raeen.
Can they understand what is being said or is it just a blind reaction?
I think there is subtitles

@@magiccheetos420 the channel explain in other video that it's dub
Now you need to show them (maybe on the other channel) a mini-documentary of what happened in Hiroshima/Nagasaki so they can see the effects the bomb had on
Plz watch Full Metal Jacket with Babu, Raeen, and Badshah
I love this trios reactions together
If you can
I think it's best sometimes if someone explains them some facts on movies.
Like Iron man on this movie. Or Thanos from Guardians of galaxy is same from Avengers movie
God bless babu bro.
Please show them gone girl with ruby !
Can you watch full metal jacket
They are looking more stylish in every video.
With that black leather jacket he's rocking it out 😊
Humanities biggest mistake yet. Nuclear weapons.
Can you watch bladerunner 2049
Bladerunner first !
awesome
Please react to Hitman’s bodyguard
Please ice age 2 reaction
Best sleeping pill
Havnt seen it yet so I'm not going watch.
It's a topic and genre I'm highly interested in and I can confidently say that it's not anywhere near worth 5 hours of your time. I was highly disappointed to have paid 20 bucks to rent it. Although now, you can rent it for cheaper if you're dead set on watching it.
Now show then Eternals.
Could you have the guys react to "Rango" ?😇
Teach about india supporting russia, then why these west movies are relevent to culture and the danger of fascism.
Pleaseeeeee let them watch Silent Hill
Why? They dont like disgusting horror movies. They prefer action movies or adventures or comedies. Why do you want to make them upset merely for your entertainment?

Nolan is a brilliant director. Although he dabbled into superhero films before, now superhero films are a mess and need planning to watch:
so dear channel admin, here's everything you need to know:
Right now we are in Phase 2 of Marvel... Keep going!
But, before jumping into Phase 3, please show them the following
Spider-Man 1 (2002)
Spider-Man 2 (2004)
Spider-Man 3 (2007)
The Amazing Spiderman 1 (2012)
The Amazing Spiderman 2 (2014)
before dabbling into the MCU's Spiderman, they MUST know about the respective Spider-Man films that came before.. because MCU Spiderman has no origin story.. and them being villagers should know about the classical origin story before watching the newer Spiderman movies... plus, in phase 4 the two previous spider men show up!!!

Oh gosh please no ! too much Marvel 🙃
It's not worth it really. I'm sure they're interested in movies with substance moreso than cgi eye candy. 90% are all just poorly thought out cash grabs at this point. With a few notable exceptions.
Please watch chernobyl
please react to anime
pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
Reaction to Barbie
You should corrupt them further and make them watch game of thrones and the boys.
Nice pick, next Barbie. 😁
If they don't have Barbie in India, wich is very possible, that movie would be quite irrelevant.

You should watch "Fat Man and Little Boy" from 1989 and "The Day After" from 1983.

Crazy how they managed to watch 3 hrs long movie in a single take. I kid you not, but it takes me three days to finish this movie cuz it's boring as hell 😂
