Another great, but simple project Rob. Well done.

Very interesting! If I could find triangle shaped tube, I would go for it, but this is already a good solution 🙂

I like the concept but I’m not understanding why you used the metal tube (aside from rigidity). It just seems a bit bulky.

Great tool, Rob. I may just have to make one of these.

Very nice, Rob. FYI, if you glued magnets to the ruler face, then the ruler would then stick to the metal tube. reversing the ruler would be possible or use the ruler without the jig when needed. If you mount the end stop with a magnet instead of a hanger bolt would make it easier to take off when not needed. Magnets are handy :>)
I made one very similar. The difference is I used angle iron so the ruler was at a comfortable angle (45 degree) to the surface you are marking.
I like the thin strip jig you used here. I don't remember a video on that, though. Is there one?

As always good video. I'm having trouble wrapping my head around "get a nice square hole" though (4:25) LOL it's correct, I think, it just sounds weird, like military Intelligence. Keep them coiming.

Always good stuff and such attention to detail in your presentation. Thanks Rob, I appreciate all the effort you put into these. And thanks for the flute music at the end there, I enjoyed that too!
