See what a day in the life of a stay at home Mom looks like with a toddler and a baby while I balance motherhood, homemaking chores, a Costco trip, trying to homeschool preschool, making a staple vegan dinner and practicing elimination communication.
The day is filled with distractions from my toddler and baby. There's cleaning, cooking, and more cleaning. Crying and then just finding moments of peace.
I talk about the struggles of having an explosive child and resources I am reading to help me understand my toddler. The Explosive Child by Dr. Ross W. Green is what I am currently reading.
I make my usual vegan dinner of coconut rice with carrots, marinated tofu, and cucumbers. This is a healthier version of a coconut rice which is part of a popular Malay dish called, nasi lemak.
Rice is made up of short grain rice, quinoa, shredded carrots, and coconut milk with a touch of seasoning. I serve this up with seared tofu marinated in: mushroom sauce (similar to oyster sauce), soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. My toddler will eat raw cucumbers so she gets a side of that.

I personally prefer day in the life vlogs with whatever info you want to put in. Like talking about the books you read, or anything “crunchy” mom you are doing currently. Thank you! I just been so focused on family stuff. I just learned about “granola” and “crunchy.” My homeschooling is very light. There’s no real schedule I follow. We also follow what her interest lies on and the video shows frogs because we’ve been finding tree frogs in our yard 🐸
Only certain rooms of the house is somewhat organized. I like the idea of doing vlogs with information sprinkled in. Thank you for watching 💙 Annisa
