Many of celebrated Sri Lankan vocalists like Pandit Amaradeva (known as Maestro of Sri Lankan classical music) have attended such renowned Indian music schools like Bhatkhande. He also composed the music for the Maldivian National Anthem (Gaumii salaam). Yes, we have similar roots when it comes to classical eastern music, but I love the super energy of these musicians, and of course Sadhguru (my guru as well).

True spirituality will take u to a level that brings so much of joy in yr heart that u just want to get up and dance. Its not easy to explain this to people who have a very narrow minded view of what it actually means. God is to be celebrated, not restrained ! Religion is rigid with all its rules of do's and dont's, spirituality on the other hand frees u. Even the ancient siddhars were known to be quite "different" , appearing quite mad at times. Lord Shiva himself was called a "pitthan" (mad man) by Sunderar who went on to become one of the greatest Shavite Saints. Sadhguru is actually reconnecting people back to some ancient practises, only difference is he is giving a modern touch to it. Ofcos some will only chose to see it through a blurred lense. Actually, in Carnatic/ hindustani music style there are different raagas or melodies in which there is aarohanam and avarohanam meaning ascending and descending order of swarams. Each raaga has different tune and a song is made by rearranging the swarams in the aarohanam and avarohanam.
Actually, *neelambari* which is written in the video title is the raaga in which this song is composed
