I would totally keep the car. If I came to Florida, I would definitely go to the beach! As for the $5k, I would put it in savings and use it for another trip in the future. On a side note, we just got an extractor and have cleaned our 97 Ford Expedition. It came out so good! Your channel has inspired us to take care of our cars better. Love your channel!

Id keep the car and has it as my non mom ride. Florida is my happy place and would literally want to extract seats/carpets then go to Disney for a day or 3 or the beach😂. For the 5k I would 1. Move to a bigger house 2. Get everything I need for baby #2 out of the way 3. Start the process for my own detailing business finally. Best part of this is that it's a stick! Hopefully someone tightened that wiper arm in the down position. I drove those around when they were nearly new.

I love carburetors and know how to rebuild and tune them and as a detailer of 5 years and a mechanic of 15 years I've dedicated a lot of time showing people on a person to person basis that the car they considered dead is just sleeping and with some effort you can bring it back, also me and that car are the same age and i have a soft spot for Nissan's, bringing back what people think are dead cars. I see potential where others see junk, and the money would go into further improving the car and keeping all original. I don't want to hack it up and put in things it didn't have. And as for the time there i would love to work bringing back cars lost to time that people gave up on.
If I won the car, I would cherish it. I would drive it on my days off to go on adventures. Lots of gorgeous country drives where I live. I would also put it in our local car shows so that all the car lovers here can enjoy it and reminisce. I'm a 63 year old woman that details my own cars so it will always be taken care of. As far as heading to Florida, I'd like to have low-key fun. Driving around, stopping at local places, taking back roads, exploring. And the $5000, well I'd save it in my just-in-case fund.
Going to date myself here but this was my fantasy car the year I graduated high school. Honestly I'd give it to my son because he'd appreciate. With the $5,000 I'd ask you to keep it, buy a flight to NJ and just to detail my Honda.

If I won the 240 I would daily drive it as a tribute to my dad who loved Datsun/Nissan and teach my two sons how to drive manual. I would also use the 240 to take to car events and show everyone what M.A.D. Can do! I live in Orlando, so getting to Sanford is only 30-40 minutes away but I would love to go to off road, drifting or any car events & again showcase what M.A.D. Can do! With the 5k, I would use some to stock up on M.A.D. Products and Save the rest to add to both my sons’ college funds. Let’s Go M.A.D.

I would give it to my dad. He had a ‘79 280ZX the same “champagne” color when I was younger and reluctantly had to sell it when he was stationed over seas.
I would want to tour the shop and get some first hand knowledge from the master himself. Maybe even assist on a detail… I’ve been following the channel for almost 2 years and the transformations never cease to amaze me!
In 1983, when I was 28, I bought a new 280ZX (ice blue). I had wanted one ever since the original 240z had come out. It was my dream car and in many ways still is. Great video!
My first car was a ‘79 280ZX. I kept it 10 yrs and put over 200k on it. I loved that car!
- I would 100% keep the car, I've always loved the 280Z. It would definitely not be a daily but it'll be a great weekender for cruising and enjoying it.
- If I came down to Florida I'd love to bring my truck and boat and go fishing on the back waters. Then I'd love to learn some of detailing techniques from you guys.
- As for the money, I'd use it to pay for some of my wedding at the end of the year and to pay off the rest of my debt to start my married life debt free!

My sister had the same model in lipstick red with gray interior. It was a cool car. You might think "wow, cool sister", but she's not. A super practical person her whole life, but bought this one brand new in 83. She traded it in on a Nissan Maxima first year (Datsun 810) in exactly this gold/gold color scheme.

I absolutely LOVE Z cars. If I had that one, I would keep it and enjoy it with my family. I'm not sure I'd do anything in the way of modifications either. Those cars are just, SO RIGHT just the way they are.

1: love driving that sexy golden lady around as much as the amazing scenery this country has and then passing it to my spouse (we love the Z ).
2: In Florida I would do everything I have never done and scuba, surf, parachute glide, motorcycles, racing, anything that is living.

If I won the Datsun - it'd be taken to ZCON every year, Midwest Z Heritage...truly enjoy it. My first Z when I was 16 was a 280zx (1983) and it departed my life ages ago. What'd I do with $5k? Probably take my family on a vacation somewhere warm...here in NE Ohio, we get ~6-7 months of good weather...and winter seemed long this year. As to a weekend in FL...anything car-related that involves SUN... :) Fishing, cruise-ins, track event...whatever fits the bill. :)

My daughter was born in 1983, most likely give it to her, but I know my son who wants to be a car collector would love the car more and talk her out of it.
A trip to Florida would be great, I’ve not been to Disney ( I’m 63) love theme parks, love the beach too. Would love to see Trumps house. I would for sure restore that Datsun, probably upgrade the motor to a 3.7 liter V6 awd system like in the Q60. If I won and came down I'd definitely be down to detail some cars for the weekend, I've been detailing cars for a long time and I'm always looking for new faster methods to improve my skills and it'd be a great learning experience for me. As far as the $5000 it'd most likely be used for the transporting of the car from Florida to the Midwest where I reside. Win or not it's cool to see a car like this, my uncle had one but it wasn't in as good of shape as yours lol.

I would definitely keep and enjoy the car on nice days and car shows. I remember these beautiful cars as a teenager, graduated high school in 84. If I came to Florida I would love to try my luck at metal detecting the beaches there since I don't get to the beach much or metal detecting since coming down with MS. I enjoy your detailing videos.
I would keep the car and drive on special occasions! I would love to check out your shop if I won! And I would try and save the 5k but I would use most on bills! Oh, I'd keep it and drive it every day! As for the $5k, I'd use it for the car itself -- insurance, getting it home, future repairs, etc. What would I like to do on my visit? I love nature, so the swamp visit sounds fun! (I don't think I'd be into gator wrestling, but some form of sightseeing would be great!)
My best friend had a '79 280zx pretty much the same color. That was a fun car! Not as quick as most people would think though. It's strength was its handling and top end speed. My '84 Turismo 2.2 would beat him in the 1/8th, but he'd catch up around the 1/4 mile mark, then he'd be past me by the 1/2 mile. Good times!!!
For the car, I would keep it forever, drive it when it’s nice and sunny out. For Florida, I would love to learn how to detail like you, go fishing, and top golf. Lastly, with the $5k I would use that money towards getting my mom an old Chevy truck.

I'd drive the Datsun on the weekends, would be nice help with a car/truck in one of the videos. I'd keep the $5k and use it for the Datsun, keep the interior the same and give the car some new shoes to run around on.

This car is so awesome! It was the first car I ever bought when I was 16, same year and color. This car is amazing. The state of preservation, together your quality detail work, makes it a real time capsule. I would love to have this car. But I actually wouldn't keep it because I don't have a garage space for it. This car is special. It needs to be parked indoors when not being driven. I would love to know a little bit about the history of this car. How did it come to be so well preserved?

If I won the car, I think it would be cool to keep it but it would depend on how it drove in Minnesota winters. As for Florida, my grandparents lived there for 30+ years so I really only saw the east coast side of Florida and I'd love to visit the gulf coast. With the money, I'd hire an electrician to do some electrical work in my house and garage because I just bought a kiln and I need to upgrade stuff so I don't burn down everything or blow a bunch of fuses.

i would sell the car and put the 5k toward a wheelchair transport van for my mom. she recently had a stroke and transport is very limited in my area. as for the trip i have to pass so i would as you randomly pick another subscriber.
