If you had to start over again would I go with NASM or ISSA? (Now that ISSA is considered to be gold standard and have the option to take the other version of the exam that’s not open book to be NCCA accredited)

What’s the difference between the monitored exam and open book exam options ? Do you still get the same certification upon completion/pass or is it not the same certification ?
You get the CPT from both exams. The proctored exam is NCCA accredited which means you'll be able to get insurance. Most gyms require this. The open book is not NCCA accredited, and you most likely won't be able to find insurance to cover you. I hope this helps!
Hey I bought the hard copy of the book & been studying that… would I need to buy the package you’re talking about to take the test or can I just pay to take the test separately
Hey! And as far as I know, I don’t think so. I’ve looked and I’ve seen no option for that. If you want to take the test only, it will probably just cost the same as if you were paying for the whole package. So I’m my opinion, I would just get the package. You get lots of study guides, quizzes, and other types of information that will help you with the exam that the study guide alone doesn’t give. You would want to pass the first time because if you don’t you’ll have to pay for another test. So I would just get the simplest package!
Hi! And the AED certification is much different from the CPR. What AED stands for is automated external defibrillator. It a medical device that helps those who are experiencing cardiac arrest. It analyzes the person heart rhythm and sends any necessary shock to the persons heart to help with their heart rhythm. Basically what the certification does is help train you to successfully utilize the AED machine. The course takes only 1 to maybe 2 hours to finish. It’s quiet simple.

I don’t think that it’s 65% pass rate on the first try, I think that they factor in second/third/fourth tries in that stat
