- After sharing that I won't be riding for YT anymore a few weeks ago, I have been working hard behind the scenes trying to sort out what my future may look like, and in this week's video, I provide a detailed update on my sponsorship situation and what will be coming in the future! Additionally, I dive into my career timeline and the steps I took to get to where I am today. Hope you enjoy!

Thank you to everyone for the supportive comments, I really appreciate it. Stoked to keep documenting the journey and appreciate all the support along the way!
Keep going dude!! You’re still so young and inspiring 🔥 I didn’t ride full time, comfortably, making a really good living until 28. The financial struggles and learning curves from 21-28 were more than worth it.
Appreciate the support and advice, Mark! Glad we got to ride this week 🤘
Love you content bro, you should come film some vids over here in new zealand!
Glad you enjoy the content and thanks for watching! Would love to come film in New Zealand soon for sure!
Hyped for you dude! Been feeling the slow side of things for sure. Inspiring to see a homie who’s pushing through too. Never stop 👊🏼
Thanks for watching homie! Hope you are well!
Keep pushing forwards , we believe in you !
Appreciate the support!
Can't wait to see what this year brings you. I know you are a hard worker so I know you will be doing something great. 💪💪🤙😘
🙏
I don't know if it works by invitation only but I believe you should be in Tasmania right now. You deserve it. Also can you shoot more shorts ripping that Izzo?
Yep invitation only for Hardline, would be awesome to check it out one day! Regarding the izzo: I no longer own that bike, sorry!
Downtimes in the industry should be times you focus on your skill progression and creativity
Make yourself impossible for sponsors to ignore
If I can pick up skills at 32 you can learn new skills at 24
You're still super young and have a ton of potential
🤙🏻
I was fortunate enough to find your channel before purchasing a Yt industries Tues core 4. I had to instantly sub and love your riding style. I would love a bike check on your videos with suspension setups for your riding
I typically discuss my suspension setup in all of the bike checks on my channel which you can check out for more information! I will be doing a full suspension series at some point soon as well 💯

Keep inspiring Pete! 🤘🏽
Thanks for watching, Vince!
That's an awesome story and I hope you get that frame sponsor you're looking for! I want so badly to make it as a Pro athlete but I don't know if it will work out, but who knows... Also on your case you should do more little projects like an edit made by you and a friend, and also put more effort into your social media following.. (Not like im an expert but just ideas🤷♂)
🤘
Bro how do you only have 6k you are a legend bro 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate the kind words and thanks for watching!
Keep crushing it bro!
Thanks Zach!
Hey peter, this video helped so much thanks. Im currently 14 and also looking for a future in the MTB athletics industry with slopestyle but an still unsure what my chances are of it happeneing. Is it about how many tricks or how good of a rider i am or something different as id probably rank myself decent but not amazing (can tuck no, x-up, t-bog, flat ground bar, one foot one hand, have good knowledge with whips, boosting and pumping, most people say in steezy 😂) let me know what you think!
Keep riding and loving it but also keep in mind that there is thousands of good riders, so do it for the love of it and it moght pay of
Hey James, glad you find the video helpful! Being 14, I would keep riding for fun and see where it takes you! No need to stress about a career right now 💯
Hey, why the mtb industry isn't doing well?
Interesting video, might not be the video that interests a lot of people but this is actually the type of video that interests *A LOT*, fewer persons. Thanks for that.
Also, I was wondering what looks like to be a professional athlete like you on a daily basis? (I mean, how are your days filled, for example 30% is riding, 50% content creation, 20% is exchanging email with sponsors etc)
Simply put, there is more product available than there is demand for which has led to major sales and decreased profit margins. Great for the consumer, terrible for the brands. In terms of my day-to-day, it varies from day to day and week to week so it is tough to put an exact percentage on it 👍
@@PeterJamison Ok thanks for the answer.
And what could explain this decreasing demand? Do we talk about a trend on a few months time frame or years?
I mean, to prevent that I disturb you haha, if you know any website where I can educate myself concerning the mtb market I'd be glad to have it.
Okay, for you day to day.
Anyway, don't worry about you future, you've learned those insane skills, so no matter how the word changes you'll be able to make something out of it :D
