While I love all Jeff's puppets, Peanut is my favorite.

Laughing at himself is a way to make it seem like the characters are actually alive and he's just reacting and laughing as if it's the first time he's hearing the line himself. Makes the characters seem more real, and not as scripted by one person. It's a small nuance, but effective if you look at it.

No matter how much i watch Jeff and the gang i laugh all the time still 2. Sometimes harder than other times or sometimes i laugh at one thing for awhile and than somethin different for awhile. Eventually it comes bk around again etc etc lol

I love all of Jeff's characters, but I have to say that Bubba J is my favorite..he is crazy as hell, and he makes me laugh until I almost pass on myself. 😅😅
I got the chance to watch a live show in Winnipeg, Canada quite a few years ago now. It was the best $80 live entertainment ticket I'd ever bought. There's only 1 problem after you've sat with tears of laughter rolling down your face for a whole live show. What you see aired when Jeff's on tv is not near as good, because so much is censored out that they can't show .

Jose is about as funny as cot death IMO but Peanut is good value - I guess every trio needs a straight man. Sure, it's all Jeff but he brings Peanut, Bubba J and Walter to life (and Achmed to whatever the hell state he is supposed to be) - great ventriloquist.
