Peanut can make Jeff laugh, and piss him off. This is why he's always been my favorite character, he is as close to a unique personality as can be. I honestly believe there are times when Jeff doesn't really know for sure what he's going to make Peanut say.
😂😂😂 I loved it when peanut and jose started talking Spanish to each other. Jeff said they were rude to do that in front of him cuz he doesn't speak Spanish. The look on peanut's and Jose's faces killed me 😂😂😂
same reason i can put on the Marx Brothers, Stan & Laurel or Bud & Lou or Chaplin (to name a few) and laugh every time no matter how many times i have seen it. Good comedy is timeless.
Because Jeff Dunham rocks! He has worked pretty hard on his act for over 40 years, constantly updates it, and has creativity beyond belief. He is said to be the favorite stand-up act in North America. And he is said to be in the top three highest paid Stand-up comedians in the US. So yup he knows how to make people laugh, and laughter is the best medicine.Im so thankful for how he gives me such gutlaughs, truly he has made all Covid stupidity (I live in Canada)endurable. 👍😊♥️

I've had the pleasure of seeing this man live. His show is fantastic. Also, as a blind person myself, the David Copperfield joke was perfect. It had me laughing my ass off.
Every time I watch these videos I keep forgetting that the puppets aren’t puppets I keep thinking they are real. Jeff is so amazingly talented he truly is. Edit:- A truly big thank you for all the likes to this comment I don’t think I have had this many on a comment before

Good fiction writers will tell you that their characters take on a life of their own, and will even surprise the writer sometimes. I think that has happened with Jeff and Peanut, that Peanut is such a well-developed character that Jeff is never quite sure what Peanut is going to say next. That's how Jeff can get mad at his own creation.
@anonygent As a comic-book writer and novelist, I can attest my characters tend to take on a life of their own, and it shocks me every time. And after having this happen with many stories I've written over the past 18 years,(I'm 33) I think I get why this keeps happening. It's because I just focus on moving the story along, not stopping to think or plan the steps, just write, and let a stream of consciousness take over. Next thing I know a character starts out one way, and ends up another as the story progresses and I catch through proof reading. So when it comes to vantriloquism, I get what you're saying regarding Peanut and Jeff.
As a writer and DnD player, my characters just take over and I end up feeling their emotions as if I was there in their world going through the same thing. Sometimes my characters annoy me and I bicker with them. Lol
Jeff is so talented as a ventriloquist and a voice artist. He knows how to make his characters feel like a totally separate living entity from Jeff himself.
@@susanwheat9910 he is in control, he’s using his control of himself to say what he wants. Free will and all that. But I know how people who “pray for the haters” only care about other people following THEIR beliefs.
I love how hyper active and purposefully cheeky and annoying Peanut is towards Jeff. He really feels like he could be Jeff's little brother - it's that kinda dynamic between them!! 😂
Too funny! I absolutely LOVE Jeff-fa-fa Dun-ham's performances! They are great to watch especially when I am feeling down. They pick me up and make me smile and laugh again.
Then you really need to watch Jeff Dunhams' Christmas special. Where he has Achmed out and he has guitar guy on the stage. Jeff trying not to laugh and then guitar guy looks at him and Jeff says "don't look at me".........too funny......lol
Just wondering if Jeff Dunham ever has dreams with all of characters all talking at once, all trying to insert their personalities, Walter farting and complaining about his fat wife, and having dementia like symptoms; Peanut with his hand gestures, having ADD conversations, Achmed’s with his feet falling off, Melvin the Superhero trying to be calm cool and collected adult of the situation, Achmeds Son trying to have conversations with his Dad about being Gay and trying to talk to “Grandpa Jeff fa fa”, and all the rest hardly getting a word in edge wise. And Jeff just trying to figure out where everyone wants to go on vacation. Lol 😂😜🤣😂😄😃😂🤣
Whoever edited this missed the best punchline. After Peanut gets finished ranting about the sign guy, Jeff says “and the sad part is this is all completely true.“
The cleft lip and lazy eye is still funny as hell i laugh so hard at that. And then Jeff goes, im sorry,. Sure Jeff 🤣🤣🤣. And the deaf and blind people part is hilarious especially when Jeff says "sad part is this is all completely true" 😂😂🤣. Im glad I saw you live i think it was 2017 for our family Christmas present.
I believe that every puppet Jeff Dunham brings out and uses is a different element of his personality. Walter is the more cynical side of himself, how he sees himself when he grows old, and can draw on that personality. Peanut is the more erratic, unhinged side of himself that gives 0 damns about what he says to a point... allowing him to bring out the energy that he has. Bubba J is the part of his personality that is more a stereotype, but done in a clever way that doesn't offend those who are indeed, what one would label, "white trash". Achmed is the other part of his unhinged personality, now directed at a stereotypical middle eastern terrorist. Allows for that stereotype to be played out too but in a funny way, a caricature of how people see those from the middle east. Done for laughs, not to offend. It's quite brilliant to be honest, at least in my view.
Peanut does say whenever Jeff is wacky and having a good time, that's Peanut. Whenever he's in a sour mood, that's Walter. Whenever he's in an angry mood, that's Achmed. I can guess whenever he wants to drink, that's Bubba J. Though can never figure out where Jose Jalapeno (ON A STEEEEK!) fits in.
I think with the dynamic between jose and peanu, Jose might be the thoughts in Jeff's head about negative things like not liking himself (Jose and peanut fight a lot for example, and Jose usually has the better insults) although jose may be just for comedic purposes I have no idea what sweet daddy D was supposed to be but he got discontinued so it doesn't matter
I love Peanut! He is his own person. My lazy eye is only lazy when I’m tired or the sunlight is really bright. When I can feel it start to drift, I tell people to look at my left eye since that’s the one that is looking at them. Since I see double when my eye is “out”, I would simply see two Peanuts moving around together.
I think Jeff Dunham is the best ventriloquist ever, and I’ve seen a lot of them-there were more of them when I was growing up!! I don’t think any of the ones back then were as quick or inventive as Jeff is.
This, by far, has got to be my most fav skit I've ever seen of all of them. It's funny too because when I first saw Jeff Dunham, Peanut was one of the ones I didn't care for, but I think I like him the best out of all :D

Thats how you tell a good ventriloquist. The further the dummys personality is from the actor, the easier it is to think of as a separate entity.
