I'm so excited to go to Fantasy Springs this month!! We booked the vacation package at Mira Costa which is so expensive but I think it'll be worth it to get to go into fantasy springs. I'll be leaving for Japan in 5 days for a 2 week trip so it'll be really busy and hot. I love Disney and I'm glad it'll be open when we're there

I’m planning to take my neices to Sea Tokyo in April 2025 and did not know they were opening a Fantasy Springs. That’s fantastic. We will be at WDW (Florida) in Jan. It will be nice to compare the two. I live an hour away from the original Disneyland here in SoCal so this will be fun.

Fantastic job. You have explained this very well. I found out that they did a soft opening on the 16th May so I changed my plans as I did not have anything booked. I tossed up between Monday and Tuesday and I picked Tuesday. I was so upset on the Monday when I found out that fantasy springs was a soft opening. I have one more chance on the 30th otherwise I miss out until my next trip to Japan which I don't know when it will be. bless you
Ah yeah so there kind of is a way to find out if they are going to do a soft opening or not. At 2am on the day they plan to do it the standby pass will come on the Disney Resort app for the fantasy springs attractions. If there is no standby option then there is no opening. That’s how I found out about the Monday soft opening so I lined up early to be able to get in quickly for the passes. Tuesday they definitely weren’t going to do it because they had a preview day for lottery guests. I’m not sure if they will do another one, but if you keep checking the app in the early morning that’s how they did the last 2 soft openings.

Hi Kim! This video was so helpful. Just one question: SInce Fairy Tinker Bell's Busy Buggies was the least popular of the 4 rides, do you recommend trying to book that standby pass first?
You can but it is a bit risky since other passes can sell out in the meantime
From start to finish, how long were you in the land? And I had no idea you can go into Skull Rock! Thank you! Heading there next year in Feb and still have some left over stuff we didn't do at Sea but by the looks at it, this looked like it took all day to do the land. We hope to get a reservation at the hotel to make it a little easier seeing we would be able to come and go and have no time limit in the land but I'm worried this is now going to take all day. Wonderful video and very detailed.
So the days I went wouldn't be a good example on how long it will actually take to do the whole land as I was there purely to film a video (as I had already experienced Fantasy Springs for Press Day early May) so I stayed the whole day for 2 days. I had to go on 2 days as I couldn't get on all the rides in 1 day. Also on the sneak days I went to, Fantasy Springs was open to everyone so it was insanely busy, but from the official opening they are only letting in those who have passes for the rides which restricts entry.
If you were to get a reservation at the hotel or get a vacation package that allows you to get the Fantasy Springs 1 Day Passport, you can honestly finish the new area pretty quick. It's not that big and most of the time you will be lining up for the rides. However, with the Fantasy Springs 1 day ticket you're able to line up on the express queues so it shouldn't take too long. There is so much more to DisneySea outside of Fantasy Springs so highly recommend you go a method where you can get the 1 day pass so you can enjoy the rest of the park!

Hi Kim, I really enjoyed your video. I plan to go to DisneySea on October 31st without knowing about the new Fantasy Springs area. Can I order the DPA at the same time? Also, what about the show 'Believe, Sea of Dreams'? Does this mean I can't go back to the Fantasy Springs area if I want to watch the show? Is that right?
You can only get the DPA passes once you scan your ticket into the park, you can't prebook it. By October hopefully it will calm down a bit but right now if you want a DPA you are going to have to line up around 5am latest I think

I like Arendelle the best. You can only buy a set menu but the main thing is that you get to walk around the restaurant which is all based on Arendelle castle. IMO the food tasted the best there too

Yes extremely quickly. You will have to be in line at around 4-5am for a chance I think. You can have multiple standby passes but you can only apply for 1 every 2 hours. From the recent test days they’ve done the passes are gone within the first 30 minutes of the park opening

I refreshed at 10.55am because the rooms get released at 11am. Usually there’s a wait so I had to wait around 8 minutes before I was let in, by that time only the very expensive rooms were left

Hello @kimdao . I’m intending to tokyo disneysea with my kids and eldery. And we plan to enter the fantasy spring. I wanna ask if we want to play rapunzel, anna and elsa, peter pan, and we buy the disney premiere access for each of those, do we still have to apply for standby pass??

If you can get premier access for all the rides you dont need a standby pass. But keep in mind it will be very difficult to get them, you have to line up at around 4-5am for a chance to buy

The park opens at 9 usually but people line up for hours before it opens to get the passes. My recommendation is to not go this method since there is a very high chance you won’t be able to make it in at all. Vacation package or staying at the fantasy springs hotel guarantees you the ticket which is the best way

Yeah everyone must be there to apply. Someone did a test a few days ago, he took the first train and arrived at 5.50am to line up. By the time he got inside standby and DPA had all sold out for Frozen. I would say after the official opening it’s going to be worse for a few months before it gets better

How come people are able to go when it isn’t even open to the public yet?
They did preview events randomly. There were two preview days so people got really lucky
They had 2 sneak days so far (16th and 20th May), I filmed this video during those days. The sneaks weren’t announced so I got lucky I predicted the 20th would have one so I lined up early. I did get invited for Press Day early May but I didn’t film for TH-cam then, just for Instagram/Tiktok. They are doing preview days for those who won the lottery or are part of the sponsors.

You need primer access or dpa. Or the 1-day pass which you get through the hotel or vacation package.
