This is one my all time favorite songs, so eerie, everything from the guitar tone, the bongos, the organ... just perfect the guitar solo is simple but totally embodies this style of music. LOVE IT
The compilation "Songs the Cramps Taught Us, Vol. 2" on the Cato label in the UK contains this groovy nugget from the 50's. I'm glad it's posted here on TH-cam.
I just had a dream of someone singing, so I searched the lyrics to see if there was a real song called Blue Moon Baby. This was the song he was singing. I live in Pittsburgh so I must have heard it sometime that I don't recall.
Dave day was on numerous records that never went anywhere under various names. He was from Pittsburgh. He recorded with bill Haley's band. I think one was on kapp. I think he also sang with the del vikings for the checker label as sonny day.
Okay like Pittsburgh I think you can see a slash of blue and the moon on shirt at night I don't live there I don't know about this but I'm pretty sure this to be true think 🤔 all blue why not? I think I read this in a book or something make sense though
how music influences itself - my first thought was Bob Marriott & The Continentals - I'll Walk A Mile and then i suddenly recognized where some of the ideas of soviet illegal songs arrangement come from, like аркадий северный и анс. обертон or миша невский и опасная зона. music is an academical stuff;-)

Covered by the Cramps, but this version really rocks!! Someone had the 78 rpm version of the Fee Bee label up, but it has dissapeared....
It's because the space station was supposed to be the first place within Pittsburgh the angle

I like the name "diddle" LOLLLLLLLLLLL
Hot damn I can hear the subtle but apparent influence this had on the Doors with Alabama Song indirectly or not.
Except that "Alabama Song" was written in 1927, with the exact rhythm you are ascribing to the Doors th-cam.com/video/6orDcL0zt34/w-d-xo.html
I’d be very surprised if any of the Doors have even heard of this song
@@keithm5224 eh I'd say they heard it, this song was still pretty fresh in their time.
