Jason is a family friend through my girlfriend and this is a true story!!! Hes really a humble dude that just lives life normal. His son just became an airborne paratrooper which is awesome because that's what I did!!

This song gets me every time, absolutely heartbreaking. I met Jason Michael Carroll years ago at a bar after he played a concert in my hometown, he's genuinely an awesome guy.
You can be a hardcore trucker like me, but when I hear this song/see this video, it brings tears. I hated country music when I was a teenager..but I grew to be an outlaw country guy. Thank you for a great reaction to this.

John Michael Montgomery "the little girl" is another hard one to watch, but a video that is beautiful and has a beautiful ending in my opinion.
I’ve heard this song 100 times. Tears every single time. Even more so now that I have children of my own.
As a little boy growing up in the 60s and 70s I was abused by my father, he used to hit me with anything he could get his hands on, I can remember being hit with a 5-gallon bucket before and and I used to have a whole bunch of the orange Hot Wheels track and it was one of my most favorite toys but my dad would take those orange tracks and hit me with them, and I can remember having to hide not only the physical scars but the emotional scars from people, the physical scars heal eventually, but the emotional scars last a lifetime! I was never taken away from my family but I know that God helped me get through all that was happening! This song has a very personal meaning to me! 😢😢😢

Another good song that really helped people be found or helped is called Runaway Train it has an older version and it did so much for the children they have another version with totally different singers. I highly suggest listening!

The GOATS of Country music still get airtime, and it's not unusual for their careers to span 50+ years.
Country music is known as "three chords and the truth". It is chock full of life lessons and God. It teaches family values, right from wrong, respect for others, Patriotism, and talks a lot about the country way of life.
Alan Jackson is a GOAT. A Legend in the world of Country music. I would suggest you check out Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning. It's one of his best. He wrote it right after 9/11

When I need sad muse for writing, I listen to this song and Concrete Angel by Martina McBride back to back on repeat and it works. They go together really well, as if they were made to be played together even though they were made more than twenty years apart

In the middle of a very sad song, but you seem to only be thinking about money rather than the song.. Kinda kills the reaction for me.. Then again, maybe I'm making something out of nothing...
Considering they hadn't heard enough of the song to really get an idea of what the song is about I don't see how you can say they seem to only be thinking of money rather than the song.
