Nicely done Martin. I was a bit dubious of whether you could objectively describe the two methods without recommending one (you know which I mean ;) ) over another, but you did very well and very informative. The only nitpick is that laminating gutterfold cards is no problem at all. Fold and glue the sheet without a core, then place two folded sheets in each laminating pouch.
@@khimbar123 When I built The Few and Cursed, each card was a sheet of card stock for the back, spray glued to a sheet of plain paper for the front, then laminated. Those are some of the best, most sturdy and deluxe feeling cards I have ever laminated. They have not come apart at all. You have to make sure that you use good quality glue, which is why I always recommend 3M Super 77 spray glue. Accept nothing less. :)
Thanks Fredrik. Looks like 8 years of being a TV reporter and 10 years of being a corporate trainer have taught me a little about objectivity and setting aside my own personal preferences. ;) While laminating gutterfold is no problem for you, for newbies the extra step of gluing the two sides would add a great extra level of challenge and complexity over simply duplex printing and laminating. That is the perspective from which I state that gutterfold doesn't lend itself to lamination. :)

Does the glue hold ok and does it peel apart at all in your experience?

@@PnPHideaway Maybe so, but to me it is way easier to glue them together than the hazzle of getting aligned duplex.
