I kind of like that it’s more light-hearted than some of her recent works, it’s like a breather where you can sit back and enjoy the story without it being too emotionally harrowing for once
I freaking DEVOURED this book in like two sittings. Until now my favourite book by Cassandra Clare! I love Malec, but it just has this awesome balance between love, action and fun.

I just finished RED SCROLLS OF MAGIC and i loved it. I waited this book for so long and it exceeded my expectations. I want more and more of Magnus and Alec!!!

I have been waiting to watch this and I finally finished the book myself! I agree, it was such a fun book and I loved getting to see this piece of their relationship. I have been Magnus Bane trash for years, so this was a hit for me.
First off, I like how the parts are called City of Love, City of Masks, and City of War, which are a neat reference to the titles of TMI. Also, to me this book and QOAAD are a good way to show how the overall continuity should be used. RSOM uses references and if you haven’t read TMI you’ll still understand everything. QOAAD completely details the plot for 100 pages and if you haven’t read TMI you’ll have no clue what’s happening at all.
Interesting that the ARC has a table of contents. I just opened my copy up thinking I totally missed the table of contents but the final version just doesn't have one haha
You and my best friend has gotten me hella into the mortal instruments and the whole world of shadowhunter. And I am so grateful!! I absolutely love watching your videos! I hope you are having a great day!!!
I'm so so so excited to read this book! Malec is my favorite ship and basically my favorite thing in the world, and Cassandra Clare is amazing! I should be getting it soon, and I'm just so excited!

Emma, I finally started to dive into the Shadowhunters universe!!!! You were the first person to pop into my head when I said I can finally read the series.
It was fun and fuffly of a read just brought me back to when the mortal instrements but loved how we get more of the relationship from alex and mangus.
I'm currently reading the red scroll of magic and am loving it!!! I guess they changed the arcs a bit because the title of each chapters are slightly different from the arc

I‘ve been so excited for this video ever since you have mentioned it. You're making me so excited to read Red Scrolls of Magic! I've been meaning to read Queen of Air and Darkness and Ghosts of the Shadow Market before I dive into RSoM, but I'm so excited to read this one because of Magnus and Alec!
Just finished this book! Love this! Really made feel closer to Alec of all of our main characters he’s the one I felt I didn’t really understand and COLS he drove me soooo crazy with his jealousy. Lol
I just started City of Bones..... because I'm quarantined, I know I'll binge the series, so it's only a matter of time before I start reading Red Scrolls of Magic😂
I cant wait to read Red Scrolls of Magic. I didn't pick it up yet cause for some reason I thought I had to read Queen of Air and Darkness first and I'm not up to that book yet. (Another book I'm excited to read) So now I'm going to grab myself a copy. I'm reading A Discovery of Witches at the moment and I love it! Have you read it? If so what did you think of it? ❤📚
I loved getting more perspective on Alec and Magnus in this book! I think this book could have been better written, however that being said I absolutely loved it and will definitely be re reading it soon (I went through it so fast I’m sure I missed things so need to read through it a bit slower)

I really want a reading workout routine lol. I want to bring a book to the gym but idk what to do once I get on the machines lol. I can stretch while reading, walk on the treadmill or on the bike but other than that I’m like uhhhhhh what can I do?
Fast food after dance class. I do the same thing. It’s bellydance then Wendy’s or Chick-fil-a. So glad I’m not the only one. The problem I need to loss a lot of weight, but oh well.

(controversial maybe?) I actually preferred rsom to qoaad I think mostly due to the fact there was only really two perspectives (with one exception) where as qoaad had about a gazillion and ended up being a ridiculous length that I found made the individual plots harder to get invested in.
I’ve recently read up to City of Glass and unfortunately don’t think I’ll be continuing with TMI, TID etc 😭😭 I wanted to enjoy the books so much and am sad I thought they were just average imo 😩 HOWEVER, I will always watch your vlogs anyway bc ilyyy ❤️ also that’s dumb af McDonald’s doesn’t serve regular food at 4 in the morning like???
