oMG I listened to this 3 times, and that made me come up with a meaning behind the lyrics and the mv.
So in the first few verses before the first chorus comes up, I imagined a scene where BTS was circled and sitting in front of a campfire. Suga and RM confessed and ranted all of their problems with everyone. Then after letting all of it out, then the others try to comfort them by saying that everything will turn out alright when the first chorus comes in (Two, Three). Then second verse comes in, Suga starts to let out his inner frustrations and problems that he's been going through; after that, he starts to thank them for being there and for everything.
When So Far Away chorus plays, I imagined that one of the members (specifically Jungkook) started to confess as well, followed by Jin, then everyone else besides Suga and RM. This time, it was Suga comforting them. After that, they start singing that everything will be alright (Chorus again).
Yeah, sounds like a pretty normal thing to think. But when So Far Away and 2, 3's chorus started to mix, I came up with a DIFFERENT story this time:
One of the them was in love with someone, but it didn't turn out so well. So he couldn't move on, and kept wanting that someone back (his first love). And BTS, seeing that one member hurt, broke their hearts, so they tell him that everything would be alright. He just needed to hold onto their hands and believe them. But he refuses and continues to fall away in his sorrow. [4:39 - 5:18] Despite this BTS continues to chase after him.
In 5:18, that member stops singing to his first love (showing acceptance) and eventually sings along with everyone else (moving on). Then 5:39 they tell him those words.
I just wanted to share my thoughts XDD, of course we all have different interpretations~

this is going to have a special place in my heart from mow on. The video clips gave me chils along with the two different lyrices from 'So Far Away' and '2!3!'... It felt so heartbreaking, painful and yet still so euphoric to look at this... it felt almost like the Save Me BTS webtoon story. you did a great job at aranging the lyrics and melodies.
