Missed my TH-cam fam so much!!! Trichology training went great + I got an A on my exam 🥳🥳so I am officially a Certified Trichologist! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming with uploads ♥
Please, please, please do a lipstain showdown (and include drugstore options if possible!)!!! I really only use lipstains and gloss because I hate touching up throughout the day. I would be so happy to see a video about lipstains!!
@@sonjaforrester9255 totally! they've been my most reliable makeup products for a long time. i reapply sunscreen throughout the day (autoimmune sensitivity to sun), so the stain on my cheeks doesn't fade throughout the day. same can be said for the lips! first, i've noticed that most stains are very bright. if you want a more natural flush to your lips/cheeks, you'll have to dab off excess/blend really well. i'm still looking for my perfect muted berry stain lol. also be sure to take care of your lips. watery lip stains tend to emphasize flaky/cracked skin. i say this from experience unfortunately. my biggest frustration is that basically all the 'best' stains i've found are pretty expensive. which is why i'm hoping for recommendations that are more affordable. the elf lipstain is fine, but for the price vs. the amount of product you get i wouldn't recommend because you'd have to repurchase so often. benefits lip & cheek stain is the most reliable, which sucks because it's expensive! huda beauty's lip blush lip/cheeks stain is pretty good too, but again, not super affordable. i've been trying asian lip stains, but it's been difficult because of availability (i'm Canadian) and the fact that the colours aren't reliable to the advertised pictures. peripera, romand, and etude stains are worth looking into, but i don't have any recommendations apart from etude's dear darling water tint. it's a dupe of the benetint. hope this helps, and i wish you luck! lol
So glad you’re back, I’ve missed your long content! I would be interested in an updates video after you’ve spent some time using all these products. Morgan Turner does “speed reviews” a while after doing a big haul and I really like that format
I'm obsessed with Byoma. Their under eye de-puffer, facial serum, and mist are fabulous! My skin looks very good and I have texture and uneven skin tones.
I never wear makeup, but IF and WHEN I do, my mature 56yo skin does best with these two products: The Tatcha liquid silk canvas primer followed by Erborian’s red correct CC cream. No other coverage needed! My skin is in good shape for my age so I don’t want foundation that settles in to your skin making it look more lined than it really is.
I am also a huge fan of vanilla/baked goodies scented things. If you haven’t tried the EOS 24H Moisture Body Lotion in the Vanilla Cashmere scent, YOU NEED TO! It’s a great moisturizer for the body, and it smells AMAZING 🤗
The Neutrogena primer isn’t new but it is great. I’ve been using it for years for a little bit of hydration under foundation. Love the new background!!
If you like the formula of the elf lip balm, try the honeydew one!!! It’s omg amazing. We don’t have very many melon-flavored things in western beauty, so I was absolutely stoked when they launched this! Delicious! 🍈
I love the elf under eye brightener. I have been using it for months and its seemed to be getting now the attention it deserves. Its definitely excellent for older dryer under eyes
This Tatccha primer is simply amazing. Got a travel size as a gift long time ago, using it only on very special occasions… it’s not cheap but I know worth every penny. Like nothing else, seriously!
I just purchased the Byoma cleanser and barrier lotion. So far I love both. I really love the light pink elf powder. Congratulations on passing your exam!
Abbey you’re a genius!! I’ve also been attempting to get the Haus Labs foundation to work for me but couldn’t seem to find a way to use it that I loved. I heard you say in a previous video that you mixed it with a Charlotte Tilbury product. I instead mixed it with the DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen and it is just stunning. I love the finish. Highly recommend! Love your videos!
I’ve used the Tatcha one ever since it came out . Be careful how much you use cause it can definitely cause your makeup to slip and slide. Used right it can make your skin look flawless and make up last.
Heeeey Abbey!!!! CONGRATS on your certification!!! So exciting that you're done and it's official!! So I have a "case" for you to review and hopefully provide direction!!! My daughter is now 24 years old. At 12 she was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis -she had recurring but occasional flares of inflammation in her eyes, but for the most part has been spared the majority of RA symptoms. At some point she will need to undergo treatment with autoimmune drugs but we're putting that off as long as possible. So to be clear, she's not on any medication for RA. She has been suffering from extreme itchy, flaky scalp. She has seen her GP for this who prescribed something similar to a dandruff shampoo but slightly stronger. She's used it for over a year with little to no improvement. When you mentioned the salicylic acid treatment for the scalp, it made me wonder if something like that would be better for her? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!! she has not been told that the RA is a cause or factor in her scalp condition, but I wanted toake sure you had all info as I know it could be a factor. She washes her hair one to two times per week and her once thick wavy hair is now stick strain and very very thin. I do understand if this is something we need a doctor for so please don't hesitate to recommend that. I was just curious as to what you would recommend if anything. I have been watching you for years and have completely transformed my hair with using your advice so you obviously know what you're talking about about (especially since I'm 50 and in perimenopause 😅). Congrats again on your certification ❤❤❤
I use to use John Frieda like 20 years ago in my earlier 20s..it worked good for my hair..i just found ur channel a few months ago..ur advice is great..
Missed you so much!! Been checking for you every day, hope all is well💖. You look fantastic! I trust your recommendations so much, your honesty, knowledge and personality are appreciated and such a bright spot in my day. Many blessings!💖💖💖
Congratulations on your certification! 🎉 Speaking of primers, I really need a recommendation for a silicone primer that doesn't turn me into a greaseball..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Congratulations, Abbey!! I'm very glad that you are back!! I love your videos!! Thank you so much for sharing your videos with us!! We appreciate it!! 💖💖💖
dionis handcreams are incredibly moisturizing. They are all I now use . The vanilla is the worst one it smells horrid. For spring summer / fresh smells : blood orange, white jasmine, verbena and eucalyptus ones are nice. For winter / stronger smells the cranberry spice and nutcracker ( chestnut, vanilla and brown sugar) are festive sickly sweet smells They have multipacks with loads of handbag sized tubes to try scents. Excited to see your review of the L’Oréal professional bond repair range
Would totally watch a lip stain video…heading to add the ole Hendricksen lip to my Sephora cart and Inkey list scalp (whichever one I don’t have) waiting for their sale which is starting is April…going to check out the L’Oréal hair products you bought and maybe add those too
OMG I’m so excited about the first product!! I’ve been meaning to ask if you’d review the L’Oreal Professional line! I wonder if any products are worth the extra cost compared to the drugstore version, which I really love.
You have the best hair. I wonder 🤔🤔🤔 Joking of curse, about the wondering part I mean. You are always on point ( in both how you look and your commentary), have the best dry humour, very resourceful and present yourself as a person of empowerment and leadership. A girl who know what she wants, sets her goals and put words into action. Keep going girl, you’re an awesome person to watch and to obtain learning. Love the way you think out loud! Stay being you! 😊
Congrats. I would like to see a review of Laura Geller Spackle, Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer, Embryolisee Lait-Creme Concentre, Urban Decay All Nighter Face Makeup Primer, and NYX Studio Perfect Primer. Also, you can mix any spritz type fragrance with Vaseline or CeraVe healing ointment to make it last longer. You can even make your own "solid fragrances" that way.
Okay. I do watch for your beauty content, but the book set up behind you is beautiful. Also, I am waiting on my delivery of Zero Days and I wish I could discuss it with you in real life LOL
I randomly repurchased an old primer that I used to love… primerizer by smashbox, the hydrating one, and I’m obsessed again lol idk why I stopped using it before! Then again idk if it contains things that are bad for our skin so I’d love to hear any info on it. 😊
HA!!😂 I was wondering what you were going to say about the Dionis. I got a small tube in a sample pack. I do LIKE vanilla. A good vanilla scent is lovely. The Dionis lotion/cream was vanilla, but BAD. A bit rancid and very overpowering. The texture was wonderful, so I kept trying to use it. Sadly, I couldn't stand that smell.
Abbey, I noticed you got the shade 110 light in the Haus foundation for YOUR TANNING foundation! I am very pale, and I know undertone plays a big role, but would you PLEASE make a video where you go through your foundation shades for pale girlies?? PLEASE! 🙏🏻 I feel like if I use something that matches my skin color, it makes me look dead and flat. If I go for something a shade darker and warmer, it looks great but clearly doesn’t match my skin. Please help us pale girls out!!!
Looking forward to your Primer Showdown! I have been struggling to find just the right primer as my needs have been changing. Please include some pause filling primers that are not glowy. I have mature skin and glowy is far from flattering on me now. Thanks. Love your content.
Your curls are so perfect Abbey. I love your hair, its so thick and silky. Also how long is it? the length is incredible. I hope you continue growing it out because I would love to see you with Rapunzel locks draping down like a waterfall. 🤗❤️
Hi Abbey I recently tried the YSL primer and it was great for my dry more mature skin❤ thank you for your great reviews I trust your recommendation 100%
Hi Abbey! I have oily skin and large pores. I can't seem to find a primer that smooths pores and blocks oil. Everything I've tried is either too sticky or makes my foundation look cakey. I would love your advice! Thank you for all your hard work! ❤
This was so fun to watch! I think I'm going to try out one of the NEST fragrances. The vanilla one sounds so good! Also, I'm very excited for the primer showdown, as I, too, just discovered primers. I'm eyeing the YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer, so I would love if you could test that, please.
I use the NEST Madagascar Vanilla oil on its own but it layers beautifully with so many other scents. I love it paired with Commodity Milk or Velvet as a winter scent.
Abbey could test the Olay collagen peptide serum and cream, please? I have it and I love it. I would like to know what you think? Personally I like the serum and not the cream. Never saw you try this before and if you did could you tell me which video?
Would love to hear what you think of the act & acre products - they're very expensive which is very off putting but they have a lot rave reviews but I just don't trust that anymore and would love to hear your thoughts 😊
I just picked up the NEST Madagascar Vanilla perfume oil last weekend. I wear it alone & layer it with the NEST Seville Orange perfume oil - which is so vanilla & fruity together. I also picked up the e.l.f. Putty Color-Correcting Eye Brightener in Fair, because I'm super fair, & it's a little too creamy for me, so it doesn't last as long as the Bobbi Brown Under Eye Color Corrector in Light Bisque. Also, I think it's probably said Oh-Lee Hen-reek-son.
I would love a dedicated review of the Loreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Molecular line!! I would really if you could explain a bit more in depth how it works, and if it's actually true bond repair like K18 or Olaplex. I feel like "bond repair" has become a bit meaningless, sadly, because so many products say they do it and then they're just conditioning (did you not talk about this in another video??). I'm really happy you're trying it, I've been putting off buying it because I haven't seen anyone talk about it...
Yay! Happy to be back. Yes! The skin tint doesn't seem to wear super well on my skin unfortunately but it looks beautiful at first! Need to test the other products still
I have fine wavy hair and with an oily scalp so I can’t go more than 2 days without washing. Can you do a video with scalp products to use? Oily, product buildup removing products
Ooo primer video. Normal to dry here 💁♀️. Just looking for smoothing and helping my makeup stay on through a work day. My chin and around my mouth is always worn off
Can you do a primer showdown of matte primers for people with oily skin please 🙏🏼 primers like the makeup forever shine control primer and the milk makeup pore eclipse mattifying primer, thank you Abbey love your videos 💜💜
For the primer showdown, can you have a section with hydrating jelly primers that are similar to Milk hydrogrip? It's hands down the best primer IMO but it's so expensive in Canada 😭
I would love to hear your thoughts on Shiseido blurring primer. Not sure if that’s water based or silicone based. Also I would love to hear your thoughts about water based primers and silicon based primers and if you see any difference in performance. I am only using water based skincare, not using foundation, but sometimes I correct some redness with silicone based concealer around nose and checks, and to my surprise this silicon based concealer separates on my skin. So basically I’m now gonna try to use water based concealer to see if something changes. Or silicon based primer for silicone based concealer. Also I heard that if the first ingredient is water in the ingredient list, but one of the following 5 are silicone ingredients then it still counts as silicone based product.
Please, please, please try the Tom Ford primer in your showdown. It's a matte primer but I need your thoughts! It's so expensive and I received a sample packet and think I love it and should buy it. But I need your thoughts on it!!! Lol!!!
Missed my TH-cam fam so much!!! Trichology training went great + I got an A on my exam 🥳🥳so I am officially a Certified Trichologist! Now back to our regularly scheduled programming with uploads ♥
That is awesome, congratulations! 🎉
Congratulations!! I never doubted you wouldn't pass with flying colors. Your passion is far too great. :)
Thank you!!@@AmandaJET
Thank you so much! xx@@neyisek6928
Congrats, Abbey!!! 🥳🍾
Please, please, please do a lipstain showdown (and include drugstore options if possible!)!!! I really only use lipstains and gloss because I hate touching up throughout the day. I would be so happy to see a video about lipstains!!
Would love to know what you like. I'm really wanting to get a stain to use instead of just my gloss.
@@sonjaforrester9255 totally! they've been my most reliable makeup products for a long time. i reapply sunscreen throughout the day (autoimmune sensitivity to sun), so the stain on my cheeks doesn't fade throughout the day. same can be said for the lips!

the elf lipstain is fine, but for the price vs. the amount of product you get i wouldn't recommend because you'd have to repurchase so often.
benefits lip & cheek stain is the most reliable, which sucks because it's expensive!
huda beauty's lip blush lip/cheeks stain is pretty good too, but again, not super affordable.

Happy to be back!! Yes will definitely share updates
I'm obsessed with Byoma. Their under eye de-puffer, facial serum, and mist are fabulous! My skin looks very good and I have texture and uneven skin tones.
sooo many good products!
hi there, I am wondering if there are products from this line you'd suggest people pass on. I will check out those you mentioned. Thanks :)
I never wear makeup, but IF and WHEN I do, my mature 56yo skin does best with these two products:
The Tatcha liquid silk canvas primer followed by Erborian’s red correct CC cream. No other coverage needed!

Yes would love to see reviews on the new L'oreal! I really like their metal detox products and this new line sounds nice!
heyyyyyy I have been looking to find that small jar for metals. Have you tried it? thoughts? I have hard, irony well water.
I'm pumped for the primer showdown because I've never had success with any that I've tried!
Meee too!
PLEASE DO A SHINE RINSE SHOWDOWN
I've been following your exact wash day routine for a few months now and my hair has never looked and felt better. Thanks, Abby ♥️♥️♥️
YAY! So so happy to hear that
Wich one please. Can you tell the products? Thank You very much
Are you using the Pureology Leave- In that Abbey loves ? My hair hates that product.
Love seeing the books in the background ❤
yay! me too
I am also a huge fan of vanilla/baked goodies scented things. If you haven’t tried the EOS 24H Moisture Body Lotion in the Vanilla Cashmere scent, YOU NEED TO! It’s a great moisturizer for the body, and it smells AMAZING 🤗

Abbey, with the elf color corrector, you need to press deeper and "break the seal. " It has a really great creamy texture when you do! ❤❤❤
ok so helpful thank you!!
Please do a full hair routine with L’Oréal products, how to use step by step please , your hair is the most beautiful hair I’ve ever seen 💖
If you like the formula of the elf lip balm, try the honeydew one!!! It’s omg amazing. We don’t have very many melon-flavored things in western beauty, so I was absolutely stoked when they launched this! Delicious! 🍈

I just purchased the Byoma cleanser and barrier lotion. So far I love both. I really love the light pink elf powder. Congratulations on passing your exam!
Beige/cinnamon/neutral blushes showdown, pleaseee 🧚🏼
The Loreal Pro Longer line just the shampoo and conditioner totally transformed my hair after ONE wash!
My hair looks so healthy and shiny
since I started following the
advice on this channel
Abbey you’re a genius!! I’ve also been attempting to get the Haus Labs foundation to work for me but couldn’t seem to find a way to use it that I loved. I’ve used the Tatcha one ever since it came out . Be careful how much you use cause it can definitely cause your makeup to slip and slide. Used right it can make your skin look flawless and make up last.
ok so good to know!
The Balinese coconut best oil is so good!! I mix it with the nuxe dry body oil - the original one. It’s amazing.

Congratulations!!🎉🎊🍾🍾
Omg the L’Oréal drop line is amazing!!
I love the elf putty eye brightener. Elf is my go to for makeup as well.
Yay love the book shelf set up behind you! Feels so much cozier!! ♥️
Also huuuuge congrats on your certification!! Killing it girl 👏
Would love to see a blurring primer showdown! I’m 47, so I use primarily blurring primers nowadays. 😊
The vanilla one from elf smells amazing 😍
dionis handcreams are incredibly moisturizing. They are all I now use .
The vanilla is the worst one it smells horrid.
For spring summer / fresh smells : blood orange, white jasmine, verbena and eucalyptus ones are nice.
For winter / stronger smells the cranberry spice and nutcracker ( chestnut, vanilla and brown sugar) are festive sickly sweet smells
They have multipacks with loads of handbag sized tubes to try scents.
Excited to see your review of the L’Oréal professional bond repair range
Would totally watch a lip stain video…heading to add the ole Hendricksen lip to my Sephora cart and Inkey list scalp (whichever one I don’t have) waiting for their sale which is starting is April…going to check out the L’Oréal hair products you bought and maybe add those too
Always love these haul videos! 🫶
OMG I’m so excited about the first product!! I’ve been meaning to ask if you’d review the L’Oreal Professional line! I wonder if any products are worth the extra cost compared to the drugstore version, which I really love.
yes!! will add to my list. I do love their metal detox range
You have the best hair. I wonder 🤔🤔🤔
Joking of curse, about the wondering part I mean.
Congratulations! Glad to have you back!
Dionis Nutty Vanilla is where it’s at!!! Also- please do a review of K-beauty lip stains/lip products. I love your content and how thorough you are
Walmart has so many new haircare products. Would love to see you test them out.
I’ve used the inkey list glycolic acid and I really like it! It makes my scalp really clean and makes my wash last longer. I think you’ll like it too.
Nest Madagascar Vanilla is beyond my favorite scent I went through my roll on that I had to get my full-size so glad you got it 🤗
Yay your back! Missed you so much. My sisters and I love to watch your videos together ❤
Oh yes please do review these John frieda products!
Can’t wait for the lip stain showdown! I’ve been looking for a long lasting neutral lip stain 😊💋
Okay. I do watch for your beauty content, but the book set up behind you is beautiful. Also, I am waiting on my delivery of Zero Days and I wish I could discuss it with you in real life LOL
I love the Elf liquid blush and lip balms. I can't get enough. I too, would like a larger sizes. Their new lip pencils are wonderful.
I randomly repurchased an old primer that I used to love… primerizer by smashbox, the hydrating one, and I’m obsessed again lol idk why I stopped using it before! Then again idk if it contains things that are bad for our skin so I’d love to hear any info on it. 😊
Welcome back! Hope your break was relaxing. I love a good haul. I have also been drawn to a cinnamon pink blush lately.
😍Ooohhh, I am LOVING the bookshelf background! 😍
Your curls are so perfect Abbey. I love your hair, its so thick and silky. Also how long is it? the length is incredible. I hope you continue growing it out because I would love to see you with Rapunzel locks draping down like a waterfall. 🤗❤️
Thank you so much!
Please do a full review on this L’Oréal new product 🥰
Your cheeks look so pretty in this! What bronzer and blush do you have on here?? Think those shades would also work well for me! Thanks!!
Abbey could test the Olay collagen peptide serum and cream, please? I have it and I love it. I would like to know what you think? Personally I like the serum and not the cream. Never saw you try this before and if you did could you tell me which video?
Will add to my list!
Omg I can’t wait for the primer show down! Would love to hear your thoughts of the Merit great skin serum primer.
New subscriber here 🎉❤ I am anxiously waiting on a review of the new L’Oréal Absolut Repair line!!!! I used already but waiting on you 😅❤❤❤❤
Would love to hear what you think of the act & acre products - they're very expensive which is very off putting but they have a lot rave reviews but I just don't trust that anymore and would love to hear your thoughts 😊
Please do a full video how you styling your hair lately, which tool are you using. PLEASE
Would loooove to see a review of the new L'oreal products!
"you're not vanilla!" ❤😂 Missed you! Love the colored book organization in the background!!❤🎉
Yes, please, to a primer showdown!
I didn’t know nest had fragrance oils!! Poppy is my favorite perfume, I just wish it lasted a bit better. I’ll have to try the oil. Thanks Abbey!
Happy Women’s History Month, Abbey!
I vote for hydrating and blurring primers! Congratulations on passing your exam 🎉
dionis is my fave!!!! the water flowers and sea salt and the blood orange are my two fave!!!
Would love to see a showdown of blurrig & pore minimizing primers 😊
Your hair looks incredible ! I'm most interested in mattifying primers !
thank you!! & noted thanks for your feedback!!
Would love to see you try the new Tower 28 lip balms! They’re amazing! I think you would love!! 💗
So happy you’re back! Have you tried anything from the Ciele line at Sephora the one that has spf in all their products?
That’s my hair ! And I find that my hair doesn’t love the same products that Abbeys does. I’m wondering if her routine only works for her hair type.
Congrats of your certification! I’d love your thought on Peter Thomas Roth primer for your future showdown.
Please test benefit poreless primer in your showdown. It smells and feels nice but I'd like your thoughts on how it wears with makeup
Lots to consider, Abbey! You have so many new 'finds'. I would like to try the Byoma milk cleanser. I am in the market for a good cleanser. Thanks.
"eeew...you're not even vanilla" that just cracked me up! 🤣🤣🤣
hahahaha
Ooo primer video. Normal to dry here 💁♀️. Just looking for smoothing and helping my makeup stay on through a work day. My chin and around my mouth is always worn off
Holy moly! I thought I was the only one that the Rhode lip treatment got grainy on. The product is phenomenal, except for the grainy gunk!
Include all the elf primers in the primer showdown. Putty, hydrating, and whatever else.
Can you do a primer showdown of matte primers for people with oily skin please 🙏🏼 primers like the makeup forever shine control primer and the milk makeup pore eclipse mattifying primer, thank you Abbey love your videos 💜💜
Dear Abbey did you try Ciele tint ? I would like to hear your review about this product because I know you are always honest with us❤
Great video! Did you change your hair color and if so can you share what color you have. It looks great on you ❤
You should check out Queening by Mind Games! It’s the best vanilla fragrance, you’d love it!
That neutrogena primer has been around for a few years here in Michigan.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that finds the Rhode peptide lip treatment to be grainy!!
I HAVE MISSED YOU SO MUCH 😭🙏🏻💗
Please, please, please try the Tom Ford primer in your showdown. It's a matte primer but I need your thoughts! It's so expensive and I received a sample packet and think I love it and should buy it. But I need your thoughts on it!!! Lol!!!
