      I’m sorry but I was a kid while Larry Johnson was coming up and while he was a blue chip player and All Star level talent, Zion is in another world as an athlete, and might have already surpassed him in terms of the finer points in his game too. The game is a lot different now.

      Zion has none of Larry Johnson accolades. He didn’t win a national championship. He wasn’t rookie of the year, hell he’s never averaged 20-10, never been to the playoffs……….let him do something before he’s instantly put above a proven player. Bro, can’t even stay in shape and he’s 21?!

Better rebounder, passer, shooter, handle and post up game than Zion, just not the three which is a product of his era. NOW THESE ARE HIGHLIGHTS!... You see the inside power game, the post game, the foot-work, the 3-point game, the defense, the athleticism, and the team play with LJ...the man was ahead of his time coming into the league in 1991-92 and I wish his back never got hurt because this guy could do it all...I think he was lifting weights too much and his back didn't hold up as much and he had to lose weight but he played with that nagging back situation...the man really took care of business and his game, did a great job with the Knicks in replacing Anthony Mason and Mase did a great job for the Hornets.

      Kemba is Charlotte’s goat and it’s not close

    • @TheSands83
      @TheSands83 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Jac ck Kemba? Wtf r u talking about? Not even close he hasn’t got them to the playoffs hardly at all ... this guy led them to the best run they’ve ever had 22 points 11 rebounds n glen rice was a better player than Kemba u just don’t know your basketball

    • @TheSands83
      @TheSands83 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jac ck a guy that shoots 41 percent for his career is not a goat of anything!! Wake up even in the era of inflated stats he’s not better than Larry Johnson or zo or rice .. glen rice dropping 27 a game in 96 was the best single season for a hornets player n Kemba is little Larry Johnson 21 pt 11 rebounds zo 22 and 11 n Kemba has 25 3 n 5 in a. On defensive era shooting 41 percent for a career in his prime btw by the time he retires his stats will b worse!! 19 pt 3 n 5 right now n by the time he retires it won’t b at those numbers.. u r Tripping because u never saw these other guys play n baron davis ever heard of him?

    • @itmejac6945
      @itmejac6945 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      mansonlamps damn you’re offended as hell. I love all the 90’s Hornets guys but no Hornet has been more skilled than Kemba. You gotta take loyalty to a franchise into the picture too.

    • @TheSands83
      @TheSands83 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jac ck more skilled? Uh glen rice far better shooter n Kemba shoots 41 percent! That’s awful n Larry avg around same points in Charlotte n shot better from field was a far better defender n rebounder more efficient scorer .. so ? Where’s your skill? He dribbles fancier? U couldn’t get by with that shit in 90s with a hand on your hip dummy! What skill he have that’s better? Glen rice a much better 3 pt shooter and scorer in Charlotte n more efficient scorer better defender n rebounder!! Soooo? U young uns think because u didn’t see people they were no good! People won’t even remember Kemba 20 years from now

    I was a huge Charlotte fan as a kid and I'm from Chicago. My friends always made fun of me but I didn't care. It's a shame LJ had that back injury. Thanks for cool childhood memories.

    Larry Johnson was the best when he played with Muggsy Bogues for the Charlotte Hornets.

    If he didn’t get hurt at the end of his Hornets days; he definitely would’ve helped New York win the title. He was a shelf of himself when he was with New York. LJ WAS SPECIAL WITH CHARLOTTE!

    The best NCAA player of all time. These plays are only from him 5 years in Charlotte (199101996), and note that in the 2 first only he did play with his potential. From his 3rd year on, he had a severe back injury and then multiple back injuries, and he never was the same.
