Appreciate that! That was our goal since day 1: provide really good “how to” install videos that are straight and to the point. So many videos out there have unnecessary commentary and that’s not what people are looking for.
Hey Bryan, another awesome video. I originally subscribed for the Abarths but I could watch anything you do. You explain everything so well and prove that anyone can do it. Keep up the good work!
Half my Carven fell off after a couple of years (first owner must have put it on screwy...) so I just got myself the Borla ATAK. Eager to hear the difference in person. Thanks for the video, specifically the tools required before I get goin on it.
Do yall do installs at your shop? I live just south of Houston and looking for someone to install my Atak that knows what they are doing. I unfortunately don't have the means to do it myself.
Did you have any issues aligning the tips? I found the passenger side was almost impossible to align. It kept wanted to move and almost touch the bumper.
I did actually have a little issue with the driver side but was able to twist it and get it in place. Recheck the clamps. If you still can’t get it, you can contact Borla and they will compensate you to take it to an exhaust shop and have them adjust it.
Ive got the same issue on the passenger side. Going to loosen it up again and try it again this weekend. Good to know about the customer service. Great video
If you have a lift and can lift from the frame, you don’t have to cut the exhaust. With a frame lift the axles will droop enough to allow you to remove the larger piece of OEM exhaust without cutting the pipes.
If you havnt found out yet... no borla does not come with the mid pipe and they don't have one... there are a few companies that have a mid pipe delete make sure its not cheap stainless if ypu want it to last as long as the borla exhaust
Sucks to cut factory exhaust. I used normal tire ramps and backed the truck on to them and didn’t have to cut anything. Of you cut it off and every want to sell the truck the person buying usually wants stock exhaust so your screwed
Storing the factory exhaust would take up a large amount of space. However, we mention that this is just one way to do it. If you have the vehicle up higher, you can definitely remove it without cutting. Another point is when you are ready to sell your truck, you can always swap exhausts with someone who is wanting to buy yours.
Simple and straightforward information. No BS! Thank you man!

Awesome video.... got the same truck....same color.....about to start the install now. Thanks for the simple detailed step by step.

Wow! That’s crazy! The Borla Atak is awesome! If you like an aggressive sound, this one is the way to go
Great video. It was really helpful. Thank you.
@@theplumber2674 awesome thank you!
Awesome video! Watched before I got mine. Helped a lot. You should also mention that your arms will feel like wet noodles after fighting with hangers.

Is the drone super bad when driving highway?

We do not offer public installs.
Any Muffler shop will do it for you
Will this void warranty by any chance?
No it will not void your warranty

I just purchased a 2022 Ram Bighorn with a 5.7. Will this system fit my application?
Yes it will. It works on all 5th Gen Rams with the V8
Did you install the exhaust system to your truck?
I have a 2019 1500 classic the site says it won’t fit do you know if it does
You need Part # 14037
I have a 2019 ram 1500 sport the sport is a Canadian model but has the 5.7 L v8 you think that this exhaust will fit on my truck ?
Yes it will fit
Is it necessary to cut the exhaust. Would like to save all the parts
Just cut it where you have at least 1 inch of straight pipe left on both ends and that way it can be easily put back together.
If you have a lift and can lift from the frame, you don’t have to cut the exhaust.
With a frame lift the axles will droop enough to allow you to remove the larger piece of OEM exhaust without cutting the pipes.
Doesn’t borla supply a mid pipe, your reusing the OEM ?

Do you have to cut into this exhaust?
If your truck is lifted up higher off the ground (like on a lift), you do not have to cut the exhaust.
@@NGENCustomsandPerformancehow high would it need to be? Can I get away with just using a floor jack?
