Nope, MSG is oldest in name only. The current MSG was opened in 1968 and Oracle Arena was opened in 1966. There have been 4 different venues to be called Madison Square Garden.
historyyyy mann the vibesssss miss the old fun nba and when you were pretending to shower and siting where the superstars sat i feel them vibes too 😩😩😩
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏 and yeah man a lot of greatness in there. I hope you come back cuz I have another episode lined up that you'll really enjoy, hopefully dropping monday. Still editing it and also up in the hills filming Gold Rush history so just hoping I can drop it Monday 🤞
I’m actually surprised that Oakland Arena is still around since GSW left for Chase Center. I haven’t been to Chase Center but hopefully soon I get the chance. Stockton Arena I’m staying tuned when you get the chance 🤜🤛
Miss oracle I really hope chase center has the same atmosphere come the 2020 season when the steph klay are back and the warriors are really good again
Wow, What a Arena right? I hope the Chase Center will be has good has Oracle Arena. I understand that we need to keep with the times. But I do like old Arena and Stadiums.
I can't believe you mentioned the Golden Seals and the Grateful Dead. I remember the Seals, and I think I went to 8 Dead shows (I say "I think" because most deadheads have trouble remembering things). The arena has a storied past and once again, I hope they never tear it down. I like how the Warriors gently incorporate the San Francisco into their name, after all it's their former name. But I'm a Sacramento Kings fan (Kings fans are some of the NBA's richest because we never have to spring for playoff tickets). If you already haven't, can you do a vid on Arco Arena? It's sits currently abandoned in the Natomas area of Sacramento. Also, before the Kings played in Arco Arena, they played at the "Old Arco Arena" that was a temporary facility that seated 10,333 fans. It's located at 1625 North Marked Blvd. and has been converted into an office building. It would be fun to go there and see if there's any clues that it was once an NBA arena.
I checked out Arco last summer and it was still very much active. Drove around and security followed me out. Still hoping to do something there at any opportunity! Really appreciate you sharing your history as well!
Damn you got to do the cow palace!!!! Oh man Sprewell is my favorite warrior of all time that shows my age lol!!!!! Don't forget my boy the custodian Brian cardinal lol
Funny you mention that, I've been trying to get in contact with the Cow Palace for a tour but they haven't responded. So I was considering just going to any random event but the only big ones are gymnastics so I don't wanna be the creep with the camera 😂... Hopefully they get back to me. We did an episode at the Dickens Faire over there around Christmas but it was only in the event halls. And yeah man Sprewell was my favorite player
What's your favorite news ticker gag from the beginning and end? 🤔 Let us know and please click thumbs up on the video because it really helps 🙏
The Somethin' Or Other Tour [SOOT.TV] Madison square garden is the oldest arena in the nba Oracle is the second oldest
Nope, MSG is oldest in name only. The current MSG was opened in 1968 and Oracle Arena was opened in 1966. There have been 4 different venues to be called Madison Square Garden.
But of course Oracle is now officially done, so MSG now has the crown 👑
Oh thanks can u do a tour in the chase center I’m going to subscribe and like
When it open up
Looking at this video it proves that the Warriors didn’t really NEED a new arena. Oracle was just fine.
I miss it already

Chef Tim Radack is an amazing lead chef for the Arena. He knows what's cookin at Oracle.
Love the intro! This was cool. Dope video.
Thank you, did a lil more goofs in this one lol
Another great video man!!! Private tours are always the best. I think Drake is a fan of who ever is winning at the time lol.
Drake is definitely a front runner/bandwagoner... I could use that sponsorship though hahaha

Hopefully Chase Center builds as many memories as this place holds, but that is no easy task! Legendary place!

I heard the Oracle and the Oakland coliseum shares the same visitors locker rooms
They don't, they are separate facilities. We'll be doing a full Oakland Coliseum tour eventually as well 👍
The Somethin' Or Other Tour [SOOT.TV] in 2016 when the cavs win game 7 they use the raiders locker room to take pics I guess
They have all 3 teams logos all over the facilities it was probably that
Nice channel. I subscribed 🐸
THank you!
Alot of the NHL Arenas are multi use so they make it so the Jumbotron goes up so its hidden or lowers all the way to the floor to be fixed or replaced
Wish I could be there for that lol
What type of camera 🎥 do you use that quality is so great i need to shoot music videos with that kind !
Right on. This was my old camera Sony a6500
Damn you got Hardwood Hatch in this!
Yeah but he's really hard to work with, now I understand why he has such a bad reputation
