It could definitely work like this but it would not look the same (flowy/oversized). I am simply going to repeat Row 14 the same way I did it the first time and see if that works! I will try repeating it about 4x. I will come back and update yall on how it turns out 🖤 If I could start over, I would use a size 5.5 hook instead of a 5, because that would probably help! You could also repeat rows in the middle of the garment, too; it doesn't have to be at the end! Update soon

If you look in the beginning of the video where she shows her wearing the piece, at the bottom of the front piece you can see some long/stretchy looking arches/holes. Basically you can chain as much as you want depending on how long you want it to be.

ok I made it for my school project to use it as a part of my model then realized I made a hat!? if you're using thicker yarns it is highly likely to turn into a hat😂 it actually curves round towards inside I wasn't gonna make clothing so it's ok but it's funny

I didn't really understand how to place the markers in the arches... there are 5 arches between the markers at the beginning, 9 arches on the side in front of the lower one, on the other side as well and between them I do not get 5 arches. and if you place 5 arches between the lower ones, then 9 arches do not turn out on the left side...
After looking at this comment I check3d mine and realized it also didn’t add up even after trying to fix it 😭 I think doing 8 arches at the sides and 7 at the top and bottom are the safest bet, but I haven’t finished it entirely yet so I’m unsure on the outcome for now!

at 14:36 when she's placing her stitch markers, she has 29 arches but for some reason I only have 23. I don't know what I did wrong. how do I solve this issue please helppppp
You’re supposed to have 32. If you’re missing any just double check that you hit all of the increases. I didn’t double crochet into one of the increases around the 7th row and that had me missing an arch.
some how when making both front and back panels i didn't do something right, because there is definately not enough for 5 loops on the top and bottom with 9 on each side (loops in between so 7 and 11 on bottom and each side) and i watched the video twice to do both panels. idk. anyone else have this problem? im intermediate so ik how to increase and stuff

I made it a bit longer than hers by doing an additional long row after the 9th row. I first chained 18 then yarn over 8 times and chain 8, repeat till the end and slip stich into the 10th chain, then continued by her tutorial. If it's still not long enough you can repeat her last two rows a couple of times (row 12 and 13(dc+chain9)). Hope that helped😅
what gets me is knowing when to increase. it feels kinda random to me "evrey 5th on the 2nd row" "every 7th on the 6th row" i wish i understood so i could make my own patterns

hi! just finished making this piece I started around 11 am and I finished around 10 pm the same day! I had finished one web the day prior though so add about an hour! I did have a few breaks in-between but no longer than 30 mins in total it took around 11-13 hours to complete I hope that helps!
Are you using mohair yarn? Because it can be a bit difficult for a beginner. I’d practice with a cheap acrylic like red heart super saver that doesn’t have the tendency to catch on itself.
Yes i was using mohair i switched to polyester, but somewhat i made It work after practicing and watching tutorials, that was my first day crocheting haha getting better everyday✨🫶🏻
sameeeeeeeeeeee i got 27 too but what i did to fix it was i made an extra round and made 4 increases randomly. that way i hade 4 more arches so i got overall 32 arches.

I mean putting the sleeves together with the body piece. I did 20 chains for the sleeve part but to add the sleeves together it's confusing since I did the same amount for 12 rows
Just TRIED to make this. The hole for the head is too small, no amount of stretching will make it bigger. The "sewing" stitching looks absolutely terrible. I wasted 2 skeins of yarn on this project. The only thing that's worth keeping is the webs and using them as decoration around my house. Undoing my stitching now and hopefully I can salvage some of the longer scraps.

It’ll just be bigger. Technically you can do any pattern with any yarn. But it may be harder and it will be bigger.
