I actually liked this boat, and the dimensions. I'm curious as to why so many of the cupboard doors did not close, is because of damp and they had swollen?
Love boat although only one bedroom and I would require two. But seems good value for money. Piper boat of that age and fit out by different company. My only concern is when a small cupboard opened near dinette I noticed at floor level what looked like mould/minor water damage/condensation problem maybe. Seems odd though as surely boat has been fully spray foam insulated. But if she had two bedrooms and passed a marina survey I would purchase her.
Indeed, but I have added the information about the hardwood and glass wheel house which I was not aware of before. There will be a photo of a photo on our website shortly. Out won't be very good, but will give you an idea.
Okay, so I'll ask again what I asked last time this was posted. Given her width, how much of the canal network can she travel? She may be my new favorite to be shown on this channel. I was surprised to see so much space down in the engine room, though I'm not familiar with Dutch barge style boats.
As far as I’m aware the net work is split into 2halfs for wide beams north n south , never been joined in the midlands area I think , not a great deal of distance to join them I believe , plenty to go at both half’s#weironthemove does vlogging they have a wide beam plenty of good info on there , they seem to be enjoying the uk waterways , I hope this helps , I hope the info I put on here is reasonably correct
A sailing friend of mine bought one of these. He had completed a full circumnavigation, including rounding Cape Horn and then sold his ocean going boat to buy a Dutch Barge. He grew old gracefully, cruising the canal networks of Germany, France and the Netherlands. He loved it.
The problem with the wide beams is you can’t go from north to south, you have to choose one or the other or buy under 7ft wide! But to me....that’s a worth while compromise, got to live in some degree of comfort and those 6’10” wide narrow boats just don’t cut it....for me anyway!
Yes, a stunning boat. And you do by far the BEST job of showing boats. I want to see inside the cupboards and all the nooks and crannies; thank you.
Lovely boat. Thank you for showing all those cupboards.
He’s cupboard bloody mad he is!

What a great boat for living on full-time.
I'm surprised at the refrigerator. The wider boats usually have a much larger refrigerator.
Súper bello
Really nice, would have to do something with that bed though, 4 foot wide is no good for two people!

Does it fit in all the locks ..?
Didn't we see this nice boat before RBS ?
We did indeed!

@@RugbyboatsCoUk Nice one RBS :-)
Maybe RBS didn't like my comment about the cupboard doors not closing properly lol
Woahhhh, good God, what was that in the wardrobe?
I'm a veteran if I had the money I'd fly there an buy it in a heart beat
how has that to do with you beeing a veteran ?
So, you’re trapped between locks? At least, I can’t imagine how it’d fit in one!

Built for the European canal network, i guess, with a beam of 10ft. The UK canal system assumes a boat beam of 6ft 10in.
