    Thank you sir, I just finished a coil and spark plug change on my wifes 2013 Porsche panamera V6. I didn't have the Ezy Red so I ordered it, and it made the work much easier. your video was perfect.Thanks again

    NIce work. My Panamera is 7 years old (2015), so I replaced the plugs last year at the recommended 6 year interval…which is a silly recommendation since the plugs were in perfect shape. Miles driven is the key factor with these plugs. Appreciate your videos!

      At just about 25k miles my plugs were in bad shape. Both times.. Worst I've ever changed. Thanks for Watching!

    Mike
    When did you steal my car without me seeing it??
    Yep! I have the same identical car. Same year , same color. Need to change my coils and spark plugs. The dealership wanted about $1,800 bucks!
    Per your recommendations, through AZ Autohaus, I think the total cost came to less than $400. Granted, I'm going to have to buy this specialty tools that you have on this video, but they can be used again as needed regardless of the purchase cost.
    Love your videos, however, I haven't gotten the courage, yet, to do brakes and rotors yet, as you have.
    Thanks for the videos!
    Again, great car! You've got wonderful taste in vehicles.
    My M1 Garand and carbine fit really well in the back too

      Thanks for Watching! If you've ever done brakes before, it's pretty much the same. Just more expensive parts.

      @@mikeshorsepowergarage7577 Yes, I saw your videos on those. Broke it down fairly clearly. And, to your point, The parts can be sourced online at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality and not buying OEM with the Porsche name on them.

    I have read that the Turbo engines take the FR6NPP332 single prong plugs instead of these 4 prong versions.

    MIKE you motivated me to get my Panamera. I been watching your videos and I have been doing my maintenance as much as I can. For the spark plugs. Why the FGR5NQEO4 and not the double platinum or Iridium for example? What do you recommend? I have a 2015 3.0 6l Panamera. Thanks for all your knowledge 🙏

    Great 👍 Job Mike and thank you 🙏 so much for the work tutorials on the Porsche Panamera models. I’m actually thinking about purchasing a 2013-2014 Porsche Panamera v6 base model. Could you please help me with any advice if possible? Thanks

      Look for one with lower miles and with service records. Thanks for Watching!

    • @RonNehring
      @RonNehring 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I recommend a 2014 over the 2013. The Panamera went through a mid-cycle refresh in 2014, making it the 970 Generation 2. The main differences are minor cosmetic improvements to the front, headlights, and rear of the car. Looks a little tighter, sharper.

    I have a 2010 Panamera turbo and recently completed this service thanks to your helpful video. I am going to change the coolant vent lines next since the connections are cracked and losing coolant. Also your engine bay is so clean - what do you use to clean it?

    • @mikeshorsepowergarage7577
      @mikeshorsepowergarage7577  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for Watching! I just wipe the engine bay with a damp towel after each car wash.

      Valve gaskets leak around 90,000 miles. I had them fixed at a cost of $2,000.

    Hey Mike hope this reaches you well I have a Kayan Turbo S in Turbo SI am getting a pen is a panamera Turbo delivered it's a 2012 what is the 1st thing I should do to it it runs great it runs great it handles well I've already have rims ordered but as far as getting a tomb I was thinking 5 speed what do you think and the exhaust

    • @mikeshorsepowergarage7577
      @mikeshorsepowergarage7577  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Converting the Panamera to a 5 speed can be done but it will cost just about as much as the car. Since it's a Turbo there's a lot of power to be added. Down pipes + exhaust + a custom tune can add about another 100 Horsepower. That's the route I would take. Good luck and thanks for Watching!

    How much cheaper the v6 vs 4s?? Or v6 reliability??

    • @mikeshorsepowergarage7577
      @mikeshorsepowergarage7577  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The V6 is basically the same engine with just 2 less cylinders. Same reliability. 4S is just as reliable just a little more maintenance. Thanks for Watching!

      Thankfully haven't had to deal with charging issues yet. I do know that Interstate makes a battery for it and it's available at Costco. Thanks for Watching!
