19th Century Cottage Excavation N69 Listowel Bypass

This video from the N69 Listowel Bypass Scheme in County Kerry describes Stage (iii) Excavations undertaken at a nineteenth-century house site in the townland of Curraghatoosane at the northern outskirts of the town of Listowel.
The site of Curraghatoosane 1 represents a vernacular settlement occupied from c. 1840 to c. 1950. The settlement comprised a dwelling and two outbuildings, which were surrounded by a series of drains/boundaries and yard surfaces.
