Thanks so Much Justus for the opportunity to tell my story. I pray that it will enlighten and encourage someone.
Most welcome Kellen. You're an inspiration. Your story is going to unlock the lives of many
🎉🎉 You're such a vibe.
I enjoyed listening to you
That's courageous of you to tell your story. I pray everything works well for you going forward and that someone will learn from you a thing or two
Thank you for sharing. Sometimes we judge people harshly not considering they could be fighting internal battles🙏
I admire this Lady's courage to first of all accept herself, that she is born different, for if there's something that's quite hard to do is accepting you were born different. It is not as easy as people term it.Two, looking for a solution instead of feeling pity for herself and doing nothing.I have learnt a lot,Kellen, you have done a great job to share your journey with ADHD with Kenyans, For Kellen ,if I am to speak the truth as someone who is recovering from a nerve disorder, myself, our society is ill -informed in as far as healthy issues are concerned,be they of whatever nature.
Am one of the young people who was always in kellens place... They always had young people in their home.....❤..
Life ! Thanks for telling your story Kellen, you are bomb and will always be. As a person who have had to live with this brain condition,I can relate and emphasise. Space, boundaries and room to express ourselves is not an option.. In marriage, work and everywhere else. But there is so much hope, and it is very possible to live a full, vibrant and personalised life .. thank God we are testimonies of that. ❤
It's funny how I can relate to every part of the narration. Separated for three months now and I think it's speaking to me directly. Thank you so much. This is really helpful.😊
You are just a vibe Kellen. Thanks for sharing your story for us to learn. In which facility were you diagnosed and (if you can remember) which doctor diagnosed you?
A great speaker! A very critical topic to be embraced and understood by all.
Out here breaking barriers one conversation at a time👏🏾. Thank you ❤
❤️
She tells her story so well....
This has evoked so many different emotions. I keep learning whenever I listen to you, Kellen. May you continue inspiring us with your experiences.
Aki this how my marriage ended I never understood my hubby the way he was trying to make it work I was always ready to leave anytime he is done something I was overreacting thank God I know better
There goes my sister, keep being vocal mami.A condition is not inability.
Thank God for that guidance teacher in your highschool. ❤in my school the so called counselling teacher as soon as u open up you will become the topic of discussion in the staffroom. Yaani so unprofessional such that no one trusted her so unavumilia na shida zako 😂😂😂😂
❤❤Hugs Kellen.
Such an important message.
I wish she can visit more channels to spread the awareness
(like the Lynn Ngugi Show😊)
@lynn Ngugi please see this
Very enlightening conversation Kelly, I am proud of you, keep up with the good work you are doing
This' a real shared moment and im glad I've listened to the end.. its very transformative, informative and full of insights, i now understand why one of my students has been stressing through her academic life, i feel sad that she's home now and she had told me she doesn't like being home coz nobody understands her..💔💔💔 thanks again ma'am
❤️
Kellen,
You are a force!!! Thank you so much for your vulnerability and willingness use your experiences to help others❤❤
Wow! The number of things that I relate with Kellen are just too many. The struggles are real too.
🫂
Getting married soon,,lord just give me grace and wisdom to make my marriage beautiful
Amen and congratulations
marriage is not easy but also if it's not flowing and you are not on the same page it's still not going to work.
This is very insightful Kelly 😊😊. Good conversation
Relatable, good job Kellen
Can't believe i watched to the end😂😂😂😂
Good job Kellen 👏
If you know, you know 😊....its easy to relate when you are the same 😂...for the rest, this is a story
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Riiight?😅
Excellent session.....thank you for sharing and your positive approach to life... helping others cope with the little understood area of ADHD..
❤
Beautiful story from a beautiful soul. Thanking God for you and your victories. It has only been God. Keep winning Toto.
❤️
This is a conversation that affects a lot of people directly or indirectly, but sadly it is a silent conversation. We need to talk more about it. Across all generations, the effects are being felt. I hope this reaches out to as much of the population as possible. Thank you Kellen for sharing your struggle. By talking and helping you are winning. You are winning bana💯.
In deed let's have more conversations
Thanks Kellen
Thats soo helpful
Having a teenager who has extreme ADHD who was diagnosed at 10yrs old, sometimes i think im the most miserable person on earth. The kind of patience one needs to deal with them, only God knows.. It's like having a 6yr old. You have to help them think because their working memory is bad.
HUGS!
Hugs❤️
Hugs mamaa,it's very encouraging
Wow ..kelly ...i love how open you are..more favor and grace...your story goes deep
❤
My daughter ADHD, which makes my relationship with her very challenging. I stopped punishing her since it was all futile. Now I need to equip myself to handle her since she's only 13 and a lifetime ahead 😢
🫂
Dr Josephine Omondi, who's an ADHD specialist, advises against beating children with ADHD. It actually makes the condition worse. There are alternative discipline methods
Hugs My Dear. It is also very Helpful to join ADHD Support Groups so that you get to meet other parents to ADHD kids and share notes, tips and comfort one another through the Journey.
You're not Alone. Hugs Again.
@@MercyLNgendo that's great advice. I can see that she gets really frustrated since she sets goals but can never accomplish them. My heart goes out to her and all families dealing with this issue
@@lovelightimpact1369 thanks so much. I'll do that. Her preschool teacher wanted her medicated since she couldn't deal with her. I refused and took her out of the school
Hi mum,she actually needs those ADHD medications to balance her i.edopamine hormone levels, overstimulation etc
Learning from my friend Kellen, lessons learnt.
🤗
Wow, thank you so much for this eye opening session
Glad it was helpful!
So sorry darling 😢
"WIVES, SUBMIT TO YOUR HUSBANDS AS TO THE LORD. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Saviour. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything."
This summarizes the answer to successful marriage.
Yes, plus husband's to love their wives as christ loved the congregation a couple will never go wrong with the two
@@zawadijuliet6311❤
@@zawadijuliet6311exactly. It's not one sided. The husband has a responsibility to love the wife too!
@@gw7768 yes yes the problem is submission is over emphasized while forgetting the husband has a huge responsibility of deeply loving the wife as christ loved the congregation infact the bible says he even gave up his life for it.. what a love... A husband is required to emulate christ to protect and love the wife ... Tell me how submission fails under such headship..
This girl has my personality
Of not wanting to cook for your husband or which one ? 😄. You are also in the “I can’t submit “ group . Si Mkae single basi
Christine, ❤❤❤❤❤
@@LeahWambui-fe4cuIt's painful to witness the extent to which you're openly willing to display your ignorance on a neurological condition. Mocking people who struggle with it is totally uncalled for. You have the option of taking time to learn about it. ADHD is a condition that affects how the brain works and it's way more than 'not cooking for your husband'. It has no cure and the APA considers it a chronic and debilitating disorder. Arm yourself with KNOWLEDGE.
This is so helpful Kellen🎉
❤
Apart from the suicidal stuff she just described me.
How can I get her book?
My classmate Kellen🤦
😊
Just wondering what condition she has, knowing would help to understand more what was happening
@shirugaks7464 she mentions in the story she has ADHD. Keep watching its right there
She said she has ADHD. My 13 year old daughter has it and she's describing the exact symptoms she experiences. I just thought my daughter was lazy but now I understand
Young lady , why can’t you just submit to your husband? This interview screams of somebody who can’t submit. You do not have ADHD , you are a perfectionist. Be humble and cook for your husband
She has ADHD... I have a teenage daughter who's the same. It's like living with a 5/6 yr old. The same amount of energy I put in her is the same amount of energy I put on my 3yr old. She was diagnosed at 10yrs old. Btw we don't live in Kenya.
@@user-et3gg1qe8b does ADHD make you not cook for your husband or what ? Listen to this interview , I believe she can do better than this.
@@user-et3gg1qe8b❤
Belittling a fellow woman's struggles simply because you vaguely understand her burden is lacking wisdom and beats the purpose why you are consuming such content
@@LeahWambui-fe4cu It makes it hard to prioritize work. One tends to procrastinate important tasks and gets distracted easily. Let's say she was cooking, she can all of a sudden remember that she was supposed to wash clothes this morning and she didn't. She will stop the cooking and go wash the clothes.
First of all I'm very sure you're not married. Only parents or people with special children can understand this... you will never..
@user-et3gg1qe8b my teenage daughter and I have ADHD. Its so challenging. I try to manage myself while managing her, it wears me out. I have access to the best doctors and therapists due to my job in America, but I can't even manage to keep appointments since I'm so overwhelmed 😢. Its a real struggle that not many people can understand
Sending you hugs. I too have ADHD and so does my child. And true, it can get really overwhelming. I hope you get as much support as you need.
