It was super fun watching you work on this run. Came out amazing. Super dense, super technical, super precise. Probably one of the best AC4 parkour videos out there
Just an all around sick run, loved some of the ejects, that drop into grab into eject and then finally swinging into the haystack was beautiful. Lovely
I remember when AC3 released I kinda hated its parkour system because it seemed there were no decent places for parkour except for Frontier. I couldn't get used to the layout of buildings there and it was hard to see a proper path for free run which was never a problem in AC1-REV. That's why I was amazed seeing the Havana in AC4. The level design there is gorgeous and it was really fun to parkour there, finding new paths and realizing you can be above almost all the time
In my opinion, every game after 3 has a more believable world design than the Ezio trilogy. Even though the Ezio trilogy has one of the best parkour elements, they felt kind of random, like why would someone build a wooden beam or an iron bar in a nowhere place? While in AC black flag, rogue, unity and syndicate they felt like yes, these places are under-construction or not completed.
I agree, but I think I admire AC2's more gamey approach more. It may be less realistic, but I think it really gives each city its own distinct feeling of movement. They all feel very unique but they're all fun in their own ways.
Very true, but there’s nothing wrong with taking a gamified approach to the world design, especially when it gives more clarity for pathfinding and increases the number of routes available to you at any given point
@@dayumn_edits I'm just gonna ignore the fact that you replied to a comment 7 months earlier and you'll ignore that i did it as well right now. Awesome snippet! I bequeath upon you this pizza slice 🍕. At this point, I think I’ve watched all your parkour clips since I was in Grade 7 or 8, and this might just be my favourite to date. I’ve much love for this channel ❤.
What I really like about Kenway's games parkour are their emphasis to use hand for swinging. This wasn't quite present in Unity-Syndicate when AC's parkour at its most complex
Also Jcers, aren't you totally excited for Assassins Creed Mirage!? It will definitely bring the series back to its roots bro. You just gotta trust them! Like my half stepson's grandfather's cousin's wife's boyfriend would say: Trust is important but can only be achieved through giving people another chance.
@@fredster594Absolutely. Mirage might play worse than a 15 year old AC1 but at least they're trying to go back to *ze roots* Totally deserving of 50 dollars.

hey. does Jcers stream somewhere or was it just you watching him work on the run?
@@white6505 I was just watching him work on the run
I've never been to the Caribbean. Thanks to Black Flag, I've never felt like I missed out on a tropical paradise even if it was a virtual experience.
Very fluid, great route and love the shot panning at the church at 2:00

Hope one day you and jcers could probably make a unity coop parkour snippet if yo have unity

This run was really smooth, you managed to make a system thats more "magnetic" feel free form and that alone is impressive. Good stuff
I think this has to be one of the best parkour snippets i have ever seen period
Masterfully done J, my favorite thing abt this run is the new tech implemented into a very underrated parkour system
If animus drifter has unity y’all should do a coop parkour snippet
I just re-installed this game after seeing some of your parkour videos. Amazing work

You really express acs parkour and show what the game has to offer in its parkour
They could have atleast gone back to this system for mirage
La Havana quickly became one of my favorite cities in this franchise as soon as I started playing this game; videos like this demonstrate why.
I feel like Nassau's design is pretty underrated for parkour. Not as good as havana but its very good
Mate.... This IS Havana

1:02 KITTEH!
that cut at 1:13, reminds me of the continuous pov storror parkour runs. great watch though
Best AC black flag parkour i've seen. This is crazy bro😱
Edward Kenway vs people who use elevators to go up/down 1 floor
Man, you are insane
One of the best balck flag videos ihave seen

Drippin' in finesse. It don't make no sense.
Nice using of inertia 0:12 0:38. Did you inspire by my vid about parkour mechanics AC3?
I have yet to play black flag. How’s the movement compared to ac1 - revelations?
Very impressive.
But I have to admit those running up the stairs animations are goofy af
