Note: this only works when the target is facing away from Arno. The disguise won't hold otherwise. Hope you guys feel more able to use disguise now if you're like me and find it a little bit cheap.
What’s mind-boggling is that disguises are an *obvious* mechanic that should be a mainstay in the series, but outside of (randomly) Liberation, they don’t seem to know how to implement it without shattering the lore. Hitman did it perfectly, just DO THAT, Ubisoft!
Thanks for this, though situational, it makes much more sense. I always found it pretty stupid how you can transform your looks into somebody else for no reason
" Heeeyy...the Animus its not perfect... " It is explained that you can glitch the animus so you can "disguise" to someone that you look , is basically an animus cheat . Either way , it looks adn feels really stupid and cheap nonetheless . This video makes it less of a cheat , but still . Anyway good job Jcers
AC games should have just copied Hitman's homework and introduced actual disguises. Each main assassination mission should basically be a big Hitman-like level that you can complete in a 100 different ways - by using open combat, stealth or social stealth. Assassins are supposed to "stay in the shadows" and "be a blade in the crowd" so it would make perfect sense that they use disguises. I can easily imagine an AC game that has at least a few character types whose disguises you can take - guards, soldiers, priests, merchants, cooks, servants, workers etc. All you really need is a hidden blade and that can be concealed easily regardless of your clothing.

Never thought about doing that lol reminds me of switching disguises in Hitman.
hello master
Disguises should definitely be brought back to the series.
Arno after watching the acclaimed 2002 comedy “The Master of Disguise”:
THAT'S SO SMART. You almost make me want to play unity again...
Almost…..
@ashy huh
@ashy oh. So what if I like him🤷🏾♂️ I didn’t do anything to you.
@ashy dude I’m 13 😂 I’m just playing video games lmao.

Happy Birthday, Jcers!
thinking mans assassin. great work sir
Big brain, I love it
Finally, I can play Unity again
happy birthday!
this is the moment arno became shang tsung
Love it!
Neat, Hitman style
Didn't you think about making ac1 hidden blade combat
this is GENIUS, it's actually kinda weird no one had come up with this before
Does it work with haystacks too?
Sadly not, since leaving the haystack counts as a high profile action and will break the disguise
Make some more ac2 parkour snippets 😢
Hitman series vibes...
Hitman style
Indeed
Chinese soup
Nice work, however this doesn’t really work with civilian disguises.
True. At least there’s one way to make disguise feel less cheap, even if it’s not universally applicable
