This is exactly what I’m looking for. A simple graphics overhaul which I can build on top of. Thanks for sharing, I’ll be giving this a go on my next play through
check Aurora, its even better
@@usr21882 the parry? Well as long as I’m not late to the party 😆
This looks good for a base to grow from.
I am finding myself paying more attention to how the roads look in a mod list these days.
I don't like the overgrown look that Northern Roads sometimes gives, with small trees and bushes almost hiding the dirt roads. But I also don't like the pristine look that the stone roads sometimes have.
In my last mod list I used Skyland AIO for a landscape base. Within the fomod there is an option for dirt roads. I added Blended Roads and another texture mod called Medieval Blended Roads on top, and I also used the parallax option for Skyrim AIO. The end result was pretty much the same as what you see in this modlist, with more parallax effect. The greatest benefit was not having the patches upon patches that Northern Roads requires. It does look good, but I have seen modlists where the regular stone roads can look just as good if presented as narrower, more worn and the stones are not so apparent.
Some mod lists make the stone roads look too pristine, and it doesn't look right to me.
It seems like the stone roads would not be as well maintained in this era of Skyrim, especially when a civil war is tearing the country apart.
Kind of funny that out of all of the graphic looks that I could focus on, my mind seems to want to choose to be fussy about how the roads look!
My favorite thing about Anvil is the notes Althro has made for many of the mods, sometimes detailing exactly what FOMOD options were chosen originally.
I'm gonna try this list. I tried Skyrim Modding Essentials but it was a little TOO bare bones. This one looks like it has just enough to get you started and has more variety.
those trees are indeed happy XD
Bob Ross approved
Looks solid but I do not like how flat, unnatural and single color the roads look.
I think a lot of that comes from Fantasia dirt being somewhat more flat than other landscape mods.
Man with Community Shaders this list looks really great! I am excited to see what lists come from this. I am gonna try to download it myself and see what I can get out of it myself.
I've watched you kill those bandits way too many times now
Gotta keep teaching them a lesson.
I miss AVO
ANVIL just had a major update.
Looks pretty good :) Obsidian is an older weather mod and superseded by Cathedral or NAT in a lot of high spec mod lists but this still looks great, and runs better than many lists?
Obsidian has a lot less jankiness with how it implements the colors (while comparing to Azurite and Cathedral), so it is easier to create enb presets for this mod. Plus a lot of creators love the obsidian color palette
@@vsevolod8023 Obsidian + Rudy ENB was a setup I spent hundreds of actual gameplay hours using. I still like it but tend to lean towards NAT these days :).
I actually quite miss the pitch blackness of unlit nights and interiors with the old Obsidian + Rudy setup, it made all forms of light source (torches, candles, braziers, magic etc.) very impactful.
we need something like this for FO4 already. Both Fusion and WTP do their own core changes that don't work with other mods I want
Isn't there F4E which is basically just bugfixes? FO4 doesn't have a ton of visual mods to be honest.
Biggie boss is the boss
That's not how the roads look like on my Anvil...
Decent visual modlist as a base, for sure. But I thought AVO is the go-to all around visual modlist. Is something "wrong" with AVO? I mean, it is only visuals too (except some new bridges here and there) and maybe a little bit of city overhauls? I am just trying to find a reason and advantages of this mod... I understand it is light and easy, but still... AVO = better visual modlist, right?
AVO8 and Anvil are similar except Anvil has 2 extra profiles, one of which is essentially ADT/SME/SSEE
what happened to AVO ?
What’s the difference between this modlist and Skyrim modding essential modlist
SME is 1.6.x. The Core profile from this is basically 1.5 SME. Then you get 2 graphical profiles.
@@biggie_boss I don’t understand? 1.6 and 1.5?
Skyrim version
-Does it require v1.6.1170 though? Is the game downgradable without issues with this modlist? or not?-
Sorry, didn't finish the video yet xD
Little update, this now uses 1.6.640 not 1.5 anymore
Modding fallout 4 right now, and man skyrim modding is just leagues better. The community is still more active 😂 poor shrimpy fallout 4
FO4 modding is rough
Not really tbh fallout 4 is great if you like fps
i deleted the game. too many bugs with the mods. i was rich but is not interesting when you have everything and the game is all the time same. quest and quest and quest. just boring at the end. the games are lose of time.
Lmao you say video games are a "lose of time" yet your youtube channel has to be the most pathetic waste of time I have ever seen. Next time, think before posting some stupid comment like this, and while you're at it learn how to use grammar correctly you clown and dont let me catch you saying something this stupid again.
