Your 100% correct with and about the gas I would carry a a small battery station with me if i was going on long trip or hunting / fishing like someone else said in comments just extra precious
I would want to be able to carry a fold up solar panels to recharge (if needed) and a small trailer for bugging out. Also to make sure the tires are solid rubber.
Great work with the paint job. I have an Aventon Aventure and am really enjoying it. After riding for about 18 miles continually I also found out that I need a more comfortable seat.
Funny your vid popped up, I have a guy opening a bike shop by me in Fla, an I'm getting a BECOOL bike from him, mine is strictly for hunting an trail riding an fishing,, kinda like the paint job on yours tho. Yeah solar charging is gonna be one of my biggys, since I want to go out in the boonies on mine, thx for the vid
I’m wanting to set up a Ebike like that . I also want a good bicycle trailer. I have other preps and financial obstacles and obligations to deal with before I get one . I don’t have one of the best jobs . So I’m limited on some the things I can buy.
Right there with ya! I just keep feeling like my past self let me down. There's so much that I think "man, I should've had that already" but time travel is, sadly, impossible.. I'll get there one day, lol
Going along with the charging concern, might there be a way to integrate a sort of manual generator for mobile charging? Flip a switch and pedal for a while, or does the bike not work at all without being previously charged? I'm way new to ebikes, I've only ever seen people ride them, I've never actually done any investigating into their workings, but I thought it would be a cool longer term idea for an upgrade if it's possible.
Hey, Iridium! This looks very cool! I am work on building up my preps, but my mobility is not quite up to a long distance bug-out. This looks like a nice option to ground pounding. Before I go looking through the old video catalog, can you tell us if you did a bug out/survival load out for the old survival scooter?
I got beat to the punch mentioning a trailer, but think on, extra water supplies gear snd possibly the ability to have an open solar panel on top, unfortunately I don't think anyone has come up with z connection between cycle battery and power source yet cos the batteries are usually sealed but I'm sure it will happen, but, you'd probably have for a small solar generator in the trailer so that's a workaround keep those brain cells firing 😇
@@Iridium242 this video inspired me to do my own Survival E-Bike, which I just finished today. I’m going to get a trailer for the back to haul my Bug Out Bag. I’m going to attach that 2-pack of lights to the front and back of it to add additional light at night. I also packed my roll-up j-pole antenna. I need to figure what to put in the panniers. I already carry my BOB. Maybe, more food and bike tools??
If you can you should shoot a video on it, would be interesting to see what you come up with I added a mobile antenna and dual band hand held to mine, works well, I would put in some bike tools in yours and more food if you can fit it in there
I’ll try to do that. I’m a little nervous about talking on a video. But I’ll try. You video was a great inspiration and I will have my trailer done shortly as well.
@@Iridium242I ended up taking pictures of my bike but couldn’t bring myself to do a video. Just got my trailer today. I put that second set of lights that you bought on the front of the trailer with the reflector lights on the back. I’m waiting for my DCU sustainment pouches to hang on the side. My BOB goes in the cart along with my MA20 medic pouch. I am a nurse and formerly USNR corpsman so I have several levels of medical packs. I would love to show you the pictures I took. You were a huge inspiration.
Great review, I know this is off topic but did you get rid of the scooter ? I was looking forward to the scooter vids. ( Nothing against the ebike) Thanks, enjoyed as always.
Yeah got rid of the scooter, I had it for around 2 years and was never able to get it registered (our DMV is severely understaffed) so figured i would sell it and get this, should work great for videos too and quick day trips into the wild :)
I love this setup. I'm working on mine right now. I'm glad I discovered this video.

Love the bike my friend
Thank you for the video.
I wish i could find that battery switch itself to hook unto my Ebike which is very very similar.
Living in Northern Utah, I wonder how well it would run in the snowy conditions. 😀
