When Texas hired Sarkisian, my pharmacist & friend of the family, who graduated from Oklahoma, told me he thought Sark would end up being better than Darrel Royal. Maybe he was right.
Texas is going to be good for a long time as long as Sarkisian is there!
Sark has expectations of playing 16 games this season, wants to allow Quinn to heal fully, while arch gets some meaningful reps. There’s absolutely no reason to let arch take over with the expectation of a natty. That added pressure isn’t remotely warranted with Quinn at the helm. However it’s Arches team come week 1 at Ohio state.

And I think you have done pretty well keeping any Ou bias out of your Texas coverage this year. You've done a really good job. You have a good voice. Keep it up.

RJ…spoke nothing but facts but people who been following Arch since high school knows…the kid broke all of his uncles record at Newman high school…Peyton even said him and Quinn have a great relationship…I think the transfer portal and NIL really got people impatient…because this how it use to be you sit behind the guy…and I told people don’t be surprised if Arch gets playing time because Quinn gets hurt and he misses time…and Texas goal is the Natty they got a taste of the playoffs last year

I am a Michigan fan so I'm familiar with how good Justin Fields was in college lol. I always thought he went to the NFL a bit early but that he would come good if a team would give him time to get the extra development he didn't get in college. I really do think he will continue to improve

RJ, you seem to forget the old timer Oklahoma had playing QB last season.
It will change some when teams are game planning for him
& I definitely agree. QB's who may not necessarily be first round talents will continue to be selected in the first round because guys aren't sitting redshirting in the league anymore. Teams will at least attempt to see what they have in these young QB's early (despite how good or bad a given situation is), so the revolving door is not and will not slow down any time soon. With that being said, do you have Shedeur going in the first round, also?

Jackson Arnold would have been better served to have another year behind Dillion Gabriel. Going into the SEC with a subpar o-line could ruin him.

I tuly hope they lose one or 2 Games now. After they spanked the Wolverines, I was ok with them winning a Natty, as I've always been an admirer of Texas, since the Mack Brown days. I don't think that Ewers deserves to be pushed aside, if he isn't playing badly. I don't care how much NIL he gets, or who his Family is, he can wait his turn. Sark didn't force Quinn out, like OU did with Gabriel, or OSU did with McCord, so as long as he's playing well, and is healthy to play, he should play. You wanna feature a few Packages for Arch, I'm cool with that, but Ewers has done nothing to lose his Starting Spot. Especially since his Injury isn't severe.

A beautiful and telling thing about Arch: As he tossed his first high school touchdown he was instantly jogging off of the field; allowing his teammates to bask in the glory. Imagine that… as soon as the ball was caught! I knew then; an even keel is amongst his greatest strengths. 🦾
