    CONFUSED ABOUT THE NOTES? Here’s a quick guide!
    If you see for example F5 then you break it apart into:
    F = The note
    5 = The octave the note is in (How high in pitch it is)
    You may also see # and b between the note and octave for example F#5 or Eb5
    = Sharp (meaning the note is half a step between the next note)
    So F#5 is in-between F5 and the next note which would be G5
    b = Flat (meaning the note is also a half step but between the last note)
    So Eb5 is after the note before it which is D5 and before the note above it which is E5
    The note scale ascends in this order: C, C#, D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, Bb, B
    Octaves start at 0 and ascend to however high the note is

      @@btu1734 Not really. She is objectively better when looking at their techniques. But obviously you can prefer someone else's voice. I really dislike Tara's voice, for example. Ugly tone imo. But then again, I'm not a fan of these "heavy" voices (e.g. Xtina, Demi Lovato and while I like her voice, Whitney Houston is my least favourite of the Vocal Trinity because I prefer Celine and Mariah's voices).

    Tara’s voice has a great range. Her runs are sloppy tho. I’m not the biggest fan of her tone. It sounds too heavy.
    Carl’s voice sounds like one of those folk-singers. He’s got a great musicality too. I actually like his voice.
    Rebecca’s voice isn’t special. It sounds fake. Her voice is my least favorite in this compilation.
    Felicia sounds so good! You can hear the broadway-influence in her voice.
    Tristan’s voice sounds okay. His face when he’s singing is too much.
    I also like Tania’s voice. It has the right kind of weight. It’s like Tara’s voice, but better.

      Sunsun DKS yup. Tara has a video series where she takes random people and gives them a few tips and they immediately sound better. Some people may be more built to be a better singer (people with wider mouths for example have more space to work with off the bat). But singing lessons help everyone capitalize and make the most of what they have to work with. If someone doesn’t sound good but has the technical knowledge to sound ok, there’s still something wrong. They could have vocal damage from the past of still aren’t doing something right. Or if they’re not improving after lessons, they aren’t practicing enough. If you practice correctly, your voice gets better. Just like working out at the gym

Let me repeat that: THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A THIRTY MINUTE SESSION FROM SOMEONE WITH NO REAL VOCAL TRAINING. He's taken down his site as of recently but still, that's a predatory amount of audacity, knowing your demographic is probably 8-13 year olds.

    They all sound pretty good tbh, obviously some are more capable than others but I think it mainly just comes down to personal preference of who’s tone you prefer and which style of teaching you prefer. Different styles of coaching/teaching will resonate more with some people than others. I will also say, although I don’t study Tristan, he does have a very nice voice, just because it’s a more poppy sound doesn’t mean it’s not good. I personally prefer more analytical teachers that break things down very precisely - almost explaining the science of how the voice works. So for me I prefer Sam and Tara to study and Natalie for performance execution.

      If I go to piano teacher who can’t play piano better or vocal coach who can’t sing I don’t want lessons by them. So no if they can’t sing that means they can’t teach. I learn more from Cheryl porter and Tara and other video who can actually sing xoxo darling.

Theres a lot of things he says that I simply dont agree with and it definitely shows when he sings. He always sounds like hes trying to imitate a specific artist. Also his most recent videos havent really been covering technique or anything to do with singing rather than just clickbait to gain more views. It's just sad to know that there are many people out there that are clueless to these facts.

    Vocal coach features (except Natalie weiss)
    1. Chest voice control mess.
    2. There is no strong or weak sound according to the emotion. -> Emotion and sound separation.
    3. Make a song messy with a strange technique.
    4. There is no direction in how to express the sound.
    5. Are you evaluating the songs of world singers?
    Natalie weiss has a clear direction of how to sound with emotions.
    The chest voice changes the sound while continuing.

  • @Deborah5000
    @Deborah5000 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's because they only teach mixed voice, mixed voice is not the key to good singing. You can have an amazing mix but if you can't resonate the notes correctly or be agile with your voice nothing really matters. Some vocal teachers also act like they don't have a break when you can clearly hear it, it's a joke. If you don't have a stable voice than your not mixing well at all. Natalie Weiss has great technique and actually shows she can do high notes and has an agile and great timbre in her voice.
