Since Sidious won over Maul in a fair duel, Mandalorians should now be under the Sith Lord. This is the way!
These guys have the dopest mandalorian design ever, they just look so menacing.
God I absolutely love their design, probably my favourite design of anything in Star Wars right now hahah! Thanks for watching, remember to subscribe for more awesome content :D
They got a badass sounding voice actor for him too
StarForceOne whoever thought of mixing maul’s horns and body features with mandalorian armor, deserves a raise! They look so incredibly slick! Especially gar saxon, with that light green visor and horns on his helmet! Aahh! It looks so good! And that black and red color scheme reminiscent of maul’s skin and tattos just make it pop 😍
@@isakisak9989 His visor is orange... and yes his armor is absolutely badass
Better than the mandalorian super commandos under the empire😭
Their horns are super cool
They're honestly my favourite design in Star Wars right now, so cool looking!
Gar Saxon is a chad if I have ever seen one.
Unfortunate that he joins the Empire in rebels haha, but I actually love his character!
StarForceOne yeah. I hope he does more in this arc.
I'm sure he will, he's a big part of Rebels, so Dave Filloni will want to connect these two as much as possible!
Was gonna comment this
Till the Rebels tv show castrated him to make Sabine look good :(
Pissed off about SoD not being animated. Should’ve been that over that abomination of ep 5-8
Ik man, it's honestly essential viewing too, they never explain how he escapes Sidious in the show!
@@StarForceOne yes, now i introduce the series to my little sisters (we watch together first time) and i need to explain somehow what happens between the two arcs because the series is not presents it 🙄
They have the best design in Star Wars history. IMO!!
BRO, ever since I saw them in the Son of Dathomir Comics, I've said they have the best design ever! They honestly look soooooo good!!
StarForceOne I’m reading Son of Dathomir right now!!! It’s so amazing!
@@StarForceOne look at gar saxon's armour tho
I love it so much that I bought a physical copy hahah! The last time they printed it was 2017, so it was INCREDIBLY hard to find...
StarForceOne yeah, i’m gonna buy it physical. I am a comic book collector. I own some Vader and Maul books aswell as loads of Batman and The Flash. I wish there was a hardcover deluxe edition for it. I would definitely buy that.
I like to call them the "Maul Mandos"
Awesome name hahha, for some reason Mauldalorians has really stuck with me
BTW the finale is coming out May 4th (4 days early)
Yep, that's going to be epic!
@@StarForceOne It also means after episode 3 , we'll only have to wait 3 days for ep4 instead of 7!
@@StarForceOne I heard the seige of mandalore arc is gonna be finished in two eosiodes and the rest of the two eosiodes r gonna show Rex and ahsokas point of view while order 66 is happening
Siege of Mandalore will finish in episode three when Order 66 is triggered, and then Ahsoka and Rex's escape will start in the final episode!
Considering that the canonical lore surrounding Mandalorian culture was expanded upon with The Mandalorian s1, especially with the adoption/reworking in of Star Wars Legends materials, the Mandalorian civil war was fought for three reason.
1) Bo Katan and the night owls with their faction could not accept Maul as leader over Mandalore because they saw him as an outsider. However, considering that being Mandalorian is now canon as being a creed that anyone can adopt and follow strictly via the old ways of Mandalore, it would be seem that Katan was more so angry that Maul killed her leader and comrade Vizla who understood her motivations for bringing back the warrior culture. Of course, Maul being a Darkside force wielder/Sith lord was something that scared her because he was unpredictable, manipulative, and ferocious. Another point is that there is no concrete explanation surrounding if Maul truly coveted and respected the ways of Mandalore. In my opinion, Maul never insisted on following through with accepting The way because he sensed the dark side via Sidious growing stronger and he was already adherent to one kind of creed.
2) The Mandalorians were now changing once again. The Mandalorian s1 reveals that the many clans had essentially been wiped out by The empire and showed a unified, struggling culture as during the Old republic. The Clone Wars brought the reality of their past and present face to face, forcing them to settle the debate on where they stood in the galaxy. Neutral? Republic? Independent?
3) The Jedi/Sith conflict. Maul knows Sidious’ plan. He knows that the Turing pointing in the war with the Jedi will be decided soon enough. He knows that by situating himself in a place of power in the galaxy, which he has via Crimson Dawn and the collective-non-aggression alliance formed with the other crime syndicates. Maul is willing to fight for his future and he knows that the war was necessary to solidify his power.
Thanks so much for this very insightful comment, their history is honestly so fascinating!
Why does everyone on TH-cam pronounce Kryze like "CRIES" when talking about Duchess Satine? Her name is pronounced "Creeze" in the tv series!
Must be my accent 😂
Dave Matthew c r e e z e lol yep
Bo katan:only ones with mandolorian blood should rule
Foundlings:are we bloody joke to you
Yeah pretty much hahah! The only reason they've moved back to being a creed (with foundlings) is because they were wiped out hard in the Mandalorian great purge!
Now THESE are Mandalorians, not the flying stormtrooper aim soliders in Rebels
Hahhaa I know right, these Mandalorians look amazing!
Every Mandalorian is different from each group they're not the same.
@@Asupernaruto1 yeah but they are super commandos plus they ate still led by Gar Saxon
Well mandalore is broken in rebels, all mandalorians spit into clans and some joined the empire with new amour.
Bo Kotan is xenophobic and is the actual traitor because Maul rightfully won Mandalore per the ancient laws and customs. She didn’t accept him because he was an “outsider” but Mandalorian culture allows anyone in who wants to join.
Exactly, Maul is the rightful ruler of Mandalore as per ancient custom, but Bo-Katan and the Jedi can't accept that because of their own personal reasoning...
@@StarForceOne True anyone can join if they follow the culture of mandalorians, not just whos strongest. Maul never embraced the Mandalorian culture
It would be cool if the Son of Dathomir was animated
It's so incredible man, probably my favorite Clone Wars Story!
I really liked how maul modeled the new mandalore armor after him even moreso the commanders helmets have his horns.
Yeah the honesty look incredible!
1:30 “A Mandalorian isn’t a race, it’s a creed.”
Yep, such a great quote! Geroge Lucas made the Mandalorians a race during the Clone Wars, but they're back to being a Creed now in the Mandalorian :D
Almec’s new outfit and armor are D O P E
Bro ROYAL MANDALORIAN ARMOUR LOOKS SICK
Let’s get it my guy, can’t wait to watch
jaster mereel was the one who made the super commandos
I absolutely love his story, even though its legends!
these are some of the coolest characters ever! The Mandalore/Maul story of the Clone Wars is my favorite thing from the show
I would love it if in the 3rd episode it it just after the credits it is Asoka and Rex and some other clones around a table discussing about the attack and then all the troopers turn away from the table and you see a cloaked figure on a holo pad but then it ends that would be an amazing cliff hanger.
That would be incredible!
I meant 11th episode but I think u get me 😂
Gar saxon is a good easter egg to rebels
He looks amazing in this episode haha
StarForceOne yeah
I just watched a couple of your videos and I think that I'm your 1st of subscriber of hopefully 1M.
I hope so, thank you so much for watching!
See I just don’t get how this adds up. Mauls army was utterly crippled by son of dathomir as well as off planet. How inept are the night owls? They had so long to retake the planet and now they’re bawling for the republics help on the matter as well?
Yep, there are big inconsistencies created by the latest CW episodes, I wish someone from the Story Group would come out and clarify the timeline too..
Maybe a group of them remained on mandalore, large enough for bo-katan's mandalorians to handle
I think they could have taken mandalore, but there army wasn’t big enough for a siege, so if they attacked, they would win but maul would get away. They didn’t just want to take manda`lore, they wanted to capture maul.
The clone wars season 5 paint jobs are cool, by the time of season 7 they got even better.
They look badass
The original mandalorians are awesome (before rebels and the mandalorian)!
Yeah I love them!
Thanks!
No problem!
Since Sidious won over Maul in a fair duel, the Mandalorians should now be under the Sith Lord. This is the way!
Damn I didn't think of that hahha, he's the rightful ruler of Mandalore! This is the way!
I have a question why ahsoka’s second light saber is smaller than the other one( I saw it in episode 9)🤔
It's called a Shoto Saber! They were usually made for smaller people like Yoda, but they were also used by people who used two lightsabers, like Ahsoka!
Thx🙂4 telling me
No worries, glad you enjoyed the video!
Almec over here lookin like boba Fett
I know right, how cool is the Royal Mandalorian armour!
Episode was amazing
It honestly was man, probably the best ever!
StarForceOne yes and the voice after for Ashoka said that season seven will go out in a bang and they put a lot of work in the last episode for the Mandalorian civil War
Yep, Ashley Eckstein is amazing, I believe her when she says something like that! Even Sam Witwer, who is the voice of Maul said that the finale is incredible!
StarForceOne yep. I cannot wait and stargirl is next month. And Genshin Impact. Comes this year and. Hope the rumor for Star Wars rebels sequel is true and the Mandalorian season two hopefully COVID- 19. Slows soon.
These guys look sick
They're honestly the best looking things in Star Wars Right now hahah
The first 4 episodes of this season should have been maul escaping.
Yep definitely, it's such an important story in the lead up to the final arc, can't believe they didn't animate it
So can we assume rex took out his chip?
I don't think he has yet, you can't see the scar on his face in the latest episode. I'm willing to bet it happens in the next episode though!
StarForceOne he would’ve had to taken it out by now since order 66 was given during the siege of Mandalore. Rex never got the order because his chip was removed.
Mandos armour still trumps all mandalorian armour
The silver Beskar does look incredible, but I think the Super Commandos with the horns just slightly top it for me!
For big a galaxy it seems these characters sure cross each other path a lot.
😂 Very true
Hello starforceone I hope you’re having a great day, I have a question, in the Ahsoka novel after order 66, does she sense anything about anakin?
Yo! I don't think she senses Anakin at all until Rebels, but even then, she doesn't know that Darth Vader is Anakin until their duel on Malachor!
StarForceOne ok thanks for your reply, at the begging of episode 9 we see General grievous in his ship, but do we also get a glimpse of the battle of Coruscant?
Not in the first episode, but I'm willing to bet we see it in the next episodes!
StarForceOne ok thanks, but since we don’t see the battle of coruscant during the newsreel, so what is general grievous doing on his ship?
What is cannon and what is legends?
Everything here is Canon, mostly from the Son of Dathomir comics, which were going to be episodes of the Clone Wars show but never animated
Idk why but when I saw the girl next to Saxton I though it was Sabine
No, you're actually semi-right! The girl that you're talking about there is Rook Kast, from the Son of Dathomir Comics, which Sabine Wren was actually based off for Rebels!
Damn how many mandos does he have left? He got them all killed lol
😂 Literally every battle, he lost thousands of his men
@@StarForceOne Maul was strong but wouldn t say a competant leader. Viszla would have handled it better
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the timeline of the Mandalorians?
to-22 BBY: After a civil war, Dutches Kryze Ceetein makes Mandalore a neutral and pacifist world.
22-20 BBY: Death Watch is able to undermine Ceetein's government and with the help of Maul, establishes a Death Watch Mandalore. Maul then kills Pre Visla and then is taken hostage by Sidious. After this Maul is rescued by his loyalists and then The Shadow Collective is then dismantled, then being replaced by Crimson Dawn.
19 BBY: The Siege of Mandalore occurs and somehow Maul escapes from Ahsoka. Order 66 occurs and that is all we know what happens with Mandalore until 20 years later.
Roughly 6 ABY: Most of the Mandalorians have been killed off by the Empire and a military leader by the name of Guidian is able to put down the Mandalorians rebellion. He then acquires the Dark Saber from Bo Kattan through unknown means. He is presented as the main antagonists from The Mandalorian Season 2.
Please let me know if I've missed anything.
The republic is gonna have their asses clapped on mandalor...
Just remember the Night of a Thousand tears will soon be coming!
@@StarForceOne you mean order FF?
@@henrywedekind5754 Night of a Thousand Tears was an event that took place during the Siege of Mandalore (was first mentioned by Moff Gideon in the Mandalorian), where many Mandalorions recruits were gunned down E-Web Heavy Blasters mounted on Republic gunships!
I have a feeling qira is the super clone commando that ambushed ashokas clones
Woah, now that is an amazing theory and it would make SO MUCH SENSE! Holy shit I might make a video on this, it actually fits together so well
It's cool, but wouldn't she only be 11-13ish years old during the Clone Wars? She'd still be on Corellia at that age.
little pistachio ashoka was like 10-12 when she first met anakin
Wouldn’t be crazy to think other children fight
You could be right, id need to double check what year the Solo flashback takes place in, plus Sabine is an active Mandalorian at pretty much the same age. They grow up as warriors, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them fighting that young. Then maybe after Maul's forces get defeated, she flees to Corellia?
We need to start a petition to animate SoD
I'll happily get behind that haha, It's such an amazing story!
it's buckethead on buckethead what more can you ask for?
The best looking bucketheads in Star Wars!
I love the super commandos.
I want that helmet!
Same!!
I’d like to call them the mauldalorians
Mauldalorians is the best name! This is the way!
I prefer the neo crusaders.
Bro StarForceOne pls pls pls can u make a video explaining what you think may happen in the next episode after the cliffhanger we were put on with Ashoka circled in the sewers by supercommandos. Perhaps Captain Rex with Jesse and more troopers from the 332nd company will rescue and help her . Remember in one of the trailers maul is using a force trick on Jesse in the sewers which makes me think this is what will happen . Please make a video of your ideas of what may happen for the next episode n I’m so sorry for the long texting --May the force be with you
Yes, I will be releasing my predictions on the next episode a little bit later in the week! Stay tuned for that, and nah the force with be you too!
StarForceOne turns out my theory was right StarForceOne in the start of the episode Jesse and the 332nd will rescue Ashoka but Jesse will get captured and before that Maul will do a force mind trick to get to know about order 66 in the sewers
;)please reply and may the force be with you
I doubt that any TRUE Mandalorian would collaborate with the Jedi OR the Republic.
Exactly... Maul is their rightful leader
It be some miracle if a new wave of 3.75 clone wars figs would come out
That would be awesome!
So after losing Dathomir, the Shadow Collective dissolved. Then how come the Pikes still answer to Maul in the newest season of Clone Wars?
It could be that in between that and these episodes that Maul forced them back to at least continue supporting him in the shadows.
Yeah it's a very complicated mess that they've created with the new Episodes hahaha, but I've got a theory that those episodes take place between Son of Dathomir #1 and #2, which would mean he's still working with the Pykes in that episode, but soon after, the break off will happen.
I feel as if the Mandalorian 'SUPER COMMANDOS' are kinda overshadowing the clones, which I don't really like too much. :/
I can definitely see what you mean, but I really love their backstory and design, so I let it fly 😜
Question:the maul super commandos survive on the siege?
Yes they do!
But what happened to the rook kast
If I was part of any mando clan it would be the super commandos
Now tell me one other TH-camr who reads and replies to everyone :)The force is strong within you, stronger than any known Jedi 😀
Hahah there are not many that do it! I try my best to reply to every comment 😊 thank you for watching!
Just a heads up, the Nite Owls weren't created when Bo-Katan split from Deathwatch. They were her pre-existing Elite Mandalorian group that joined Deathwatch when Bo-Katan did. They spilt when Maul took control, some following Bo-Katan and some following Maul. The faction that spilt from Maul were actually called the Mandalore Resistance. No hate, just thought I should inform you :)
Ooh thank you, very true! I should have worded it better, but what I was trying to convey is that after Maul's takeover, Deathwatch split into the Nite Owl faction and the Super Commando Faction :D Thanks for watching, remember to subscribe for more awesome content :D
They actually fired the rocket at aayla secura
Yep! I have a video on the channel covering the whole Son of Dathomir series. Mace Windu is also knocked out in the actual comic panel, and I'd assume the other Jedi that we don't see were too, allowing their escape!
What if death wach won in the siege of mandalore
Let's go
I dOnT lIkE sAnD
Its course, its rough, it's irritating... It gets everywhere...
lol
I'll smash nothing and tell you, they support Maul.
😂 Thanks for that wonderful insight! A lot of people actually want to know the history behind them and not just basic facts like that!
Heyo!
I
I
V
Bruh all of them have red and black armor😂
I thought these were called mauldalorians ._.
How did clones who trained from birth to be good at combat and are clones of the badass jango fett get merked by mandos and not only that they are also the 501st, yeah doesn't make much sense does it.
How many more times are you going to say super commandos?
😂😂 I've had enough for new
kinda obvious that its gar Saxon
Did you read the title properly? It's not asking who the Mandalorian in the thumbnail is, it's asking who they are as a whole!
@@StarForceOne whoops haven't seen that lol. but damn that was a quick reply
Hahaha no worries! Yeah I try to reply to as many comments as possible, as soon as possible 😊
@@StarForceOne that's a sign of a good youtuber
Mandalorians are not a race , so the "Mandalorian Blood" idea is just off.
Yep, but at this point in the timeline, Mandalorians were actually a race!
No they are not. They always were a group that welcomed others in if you were deemed Mandokarla. They may have been less nomadic at this point, but there was never a requirement to be even human They always adopted and took in children...its not just new with The Mandalorian.
Most of that stuff is from legends. In the Clone Wars series, the Mandalorian people are predominantly a race based on the planet Mandalore, but after the purge they are forced to return to their old ways and allow outsiders in to grow their numbers.
THE GREATEST u bum
I'm hoping its going to be TOPPED by the finale!!! Thanks for watching
Was the girl with purple hair Sabine’s mom ?
No, that's Rook Kast from Son of Dathomir, Sabine's Mum appears in a hologram later in the episode!
You really need to explain this? Even though the show explained it for us when they were introduced?
Most of their history takes place during Son of Dathomir, which is a comic that barely anyone has read, so it's definitely necessary!
