I love zero 7 from the bottom of my heart, from the moment I heard their first song in 2006 I couldn't stop listening to it and until now I do it, 14 years later I keep moving forward in my life and listening to them at night when I work and think In the simple things in life, they accompanied me on my first trip by plane and have been with me since I started my life on TH-cam, half a million subscribers later, since I left I have to say thank you for such a beautiful album, which accompanies me every night that I edit. I love you, thank you for being part of my life with your themes. thanks zero 7

2007/8 I heard this song in one of the episodes of House, had a dream where it was in the background and I was sure I’ve heard this somewhere and it’s been stuck in my head for 2 weeks. Finally found it !

I love this woman. Her voice has got me in the mood for swaying! And loving. Glad to be alive when this song was playing on my nyc radio station! Love you all my brother and sisters!!!!!!!
Omg several years ago I was DYING to see the official videos for these zero 7 songs and just now they’re being released??? Like 2 years ago holy shit how did I not see this
Joel Medina: Although I knew the song when it was originaly released, I also was pleased to see it featuring "The Sex And The City" TV series. This is just a timeless song.
Addiction is a word that sums up well my relation to this song and BARKER's voice. 20 years old and it feels like it got out yesterday. Perfection was never so closely approached. 🤩🤩🤩🤩
It was more a fakemenace spring fought with a fakeprotection mask and fakevaccines, still dickheads believe it was all true. We've been lied to. We want heads, now...all of them !!!
I wonder on which platform this machinima was based. I adore this song, by the way. So dark and smooth and ominous--perfectly captures the tedium we feel, the not-knowing, the sense of disconnection, and yet does so exquisitely. Thanks.
Interesting fact: I heard this at Starbucks, in the days before Covid, really loved the sound of it, been meaning to find what on earth it was called, then after finding 'Destiny', found this!, and it's exactly the song I heard at Starbucks!, which is suitable, cos it's called in the waiting line (of Starbucks getting my hot chocolate), and I imminently downloaded it onto my iPod!
Makes you realise all on this earth is temporary and how we all as a population, are being told "different things" (not all of them neccesarily true) alas to say, a better more fulfilling spiritual change is coming! ❤
Did not expect a retro 3D video of a robot in space tending to its garden. Before watching this video, I wonder how many had the exact same video in their minds while listening to this song of something like Bittersweet Symphony's drab English streets, filtered blue, and people literally waiting in line to buy groceries and condoms while the camera just gradually pans across their dull faces and lifeless bodies. I guess that would've been too obvious,
"Massive Attack" is the single biggest reason why Zero7 isn't Bigger than they are. "Trip-Hop" is a small pond and I'm glad that there's room for two. Great track; prefer the Live version though.
softest memories from Amsterdam`s streets at night near water dreamy beauty and being in the right place for a moment cocooned inside this caressing music neutral unpretentious where is it where did it go
OK, here is my philosophical theory…. All the humans aboard the space ship obviously died off, probably a long time ago. The robot still continues his daily duties of preparing food (for no one). His existence is bland. Then the light on his chest starts blinking yellow. Maybe it’s too obvious but using green-yellow-red representation the yellow signifies he is “dying.” The final scene we see him in a field of Poppies, his head his held high and he looks content. Could that be the robot’s “Heaven” His release from the dull and mundane duties he was performing? I think so. The song represents the dull and drudgery of our life, but also gives us humans hope, hope that someday we will end up in our paradise. But until then, we are just wasting our time in the waiting line. Well, that is my theory anyway, take it for whatever it’s worth.
This was somewhere in my childhood memory. No knowledge of the name of the song, or who it was by. Just remembered the one part and sang it into the Google sound search widget and found the song after forever
This song is the truth, a wake up call, a moment of clarity, an epiphany.
Sublime
Well said!
2000 music is low key great.
Yeah this should be the Truthers anthem.
