- Day 1 of our first Celebrity Cruise Line cruise! We board the Celebrity Summit and give a tour of our standard balcony room. We stayed in room 6048. Then we head to the main dining room for the most amazing Thanksgiving cruise meal ever!

Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

Celebrity food is unmatched. They had the best breakfast I've ever had. They had apple pancakes and they were absolutely incredible.

@@farrr-inn I cruised pre-covid so I don't know what it is like anymore. We went to the dining room and had breakfast opposed to the buffet. It was night and day different from the buffet. It was the best breakfast I've ever had.

Here’s an idea… on the next cruise you take, “Sam” needs to pull some favors, and have a special menu printed up that will be given to “Ella” with seasonal icons pointing to a lovely dish that will include an engagement ring. Maybe, the WILL YOU MARRY ME Surf and Turf. In fact, one of those cruise lines should offer an ENGAGEMENT CRUISE with a Justice of the Peace onboard for those in a hurry. Even a Diamond Ring Gus could be incorporated. Go for it. You make a beautiful couple. ♥️

Here’s what I think about the name of the your channel. I don’t think the name has lost its meaning if you look at how we look at your channel. We see Views and Queues as Brian and Kerry. Whether you do theme park videos or cruise videos, you have branded yourselves as this amazing couple who has great chemistry and many funny sarcastic but fun comments. We all think you both are so “COOL” 🙌🛳🌴❤️

Celebrity is my all time favorite. I’m booked on one this thanksgiving and I’m so excited. Summit was my first celebrity ship waaaaay back, not too long after she was built actually. She’s even more amazing now in this video. Love your channel and how you guys roll with each video. And I totally agree they have THE best food of all the lines I’ve sailed.

Looks very nice and surprisingly didn’t look crowded at all. I was searching for a cruise I could take during the holidays so I don’t have to use my vacation days but wasn’t finding any. I will have to check out celebrity. Can’t wait to see the rest of the series.

Glad you guys enjoyed the Summit it's one of our favorite Celebrity Ships. We sailed on the Beyond in November beautiful ship but BIG love the smaller ships. You did't mention the specialty restaurant hope you had the chance to eat there. The Best Good Video!

I usually compare the ships I see in cruise videos to Vegas resorts (probably been to Vegas 60+ times in 30 years and have stayed at least once in every place on the Strip)-The best compliment I can give this ship is that it reminds me of Cosmopolitan-NOT the biggest or flashiest, but just CLASSY! It just LOOKS CLASSY.
Those Solarium seats looked so comfy!

Me to. I cruised Jan. 23 to 28th. Fell in Love with the Rock -- pop band, that was from the Ukraine , on the Summit. Some of the Best food too.

I don’t think we actually got back on that elevator which is a shame. It doesn’t make sense that it was better than Palo, but it somehow was 😆 Can’t wait to share the pie fest, it was fun and frightening at the same time haha

Great video! My boyfriend and I were on the summit twice in 2022 in 6145 and 6146 (both are the last suites before the penthouses)We did the retreat and it was a great experience. We just did it again this past January on Apex in the retreat and it really cemented how we love Celebrity. I highly recommend you guys do a retreat experience cruise

I love Celebrity and I’ve only been on them twice. 6 cruise lines and my favourite! I doubt you’ll get a Gus! Rci was the first line I’d got them on. MSc did too!!
This was our first celebrity cruise . We sailed on this ship in sept 2021 with 264 people on board. Hands down one of my favorites. (We have done the beyond and apex already). My Husband and I are now converts to celebrity and we are Diamond on Royal. The food is so good on these ships. The quality in every detail is wonderful!
You guys are such natural vloggers, really showing the fun side of cruises without being too formulaic on your content. It makes it such and enjoyable watch, and we always look forward to the next video.
Can i ask about your camera - Is it the DJI Pocket2, with a mic tucked into your lanyards? I wasnt aware it can film in 4k, and looks great.
Having been on the Summit about 7-8 times, I think it is a great ship. Trying out an Alaska cruise this year on the RC Brilliance of the Seas and looking forward to seeing what that ship is like.
Agreed! Love the view of Miami when leaving port, especially of South Beach. Not a fan of traveling into Miami otherwise
We hope you got a Gus at some point during your cruise. We were on Celebrity Reflection and our steward made us Guses only because he saw our door magnets that we got from your Etsy page. Wish we could post a door pic. Really enjoy your videos.
The Summit is our second home. Aft facing handicap cabin was built for us. Our friends came to our cabin to nap on our balcony! We did facials out there, tried to play cards till they flew away and, of course, napped.
We enjoy smaller vessels. More quiet, we be CVS
Corn hole is called corn hole because the bags are filled with corn.
Your Video is very cute !! We be the Po people and always get the assigned/guaranteed inside rooms. We live in Florida and We book in the fall season when fares are the lowest. We typically look for deals less than $40/nite. Been pretty lucky and seem to get in 4-6 Cruises in that period for a lot less. Rooms are no biggie for us and everyone gets the same service. We love Celebrity and Royal. Once in a while, we may book another Cruise line. We're working on Royal's Diamond Plus Status and should get there soon...hopefully before I turn 80 (really) providing I don't book too many Celebrity Cruises.

If you guys love this ship you will adore Beyond. We have just gotten off our first cruise with Celebrity which was a 7 night on Beyond and I have to say it blew every other cruise we have taken out of the water (pardon the pun). Hands down the best food, crew, and decor. The whole ship was a work of art.

Wish Royal had that movie viewing area like that, away from the pools. Glad to see new content, i have seen most or all of your other vids. BTW Kerry's left hand does seem to need something.
