This feels like a combo of old kpop and new kpop imo. The verses are pretty modern in their style, they have what I call the "Newjeans-sound" (chill and vibey). But the chorus reminds me of kpop from the early 2010's. And honestly it's a combo I'm absolutely here for! 😊
I ADORE it the more I listen to it. I was hooked the first time around but it still grew on me somehow. Obviously as you said, we don’t know even with the songs we love how they will stand the test of time but I am telling you, this song is loop worthy. It gets you in the zone, by the time that last prechorus hits you don’t want it to end. It’s a total slap, a serve, a bop, I am LIVING.
