    Beautiful ending chord.

Thank you! I feel that ending a piece with a minor chord can sound harsh and even mean in some ways, but the darker modes can be used to achieve a more melancholic sound as well. I treated this by ending on a sus2 chord with an implied minor. It was meant to display that whiskey can be fun, and you'll have an intense build-up to some even more intense moments, but in the end the fun will stop, and you'll be alone.

    Why not 13/8

13 can be comprised of various subdivisions. That 13 is 3 3 3 4. Composer wanted to have it real clear for performers i guess.

As @misterguy9051 pointed out, it's a way to add clarity. Clarity is always something I'll try to add for technical applications! Still wanna leave some non-tech stuff up for interpretation of course, but technical clarity is very important, in my opinion.
Another reason I wrote it as 3+3+3+4 is because there are varying levels of musicians, not only that watch my content, but in my personal life! If you were a 2nd year student in band and your director gave you a piece in 13, you'd probably sh*t yourself. But, because its in 3, it seems more doable! This can also serve as a pedagogic piece; teaching the young musician about 13/8 and "odd" time signatures

@@Ash_The_Composer You may be interested in my "Gyroscope" which is also 13, but this time it's 4 4 5. Also i'd like to do an arrangment of this for winds orchestra; i might follow your method to make it more "readable" for unexperienced instrumentists.
