i cant seem to access raspi-config on putty or my retro pie. says my boot partition is not mounted. any advise? I recently got a retro-pie case and im trying to install the power/shut script and im getting the error failed connection refused
it happens, if you have tried all videos and it didnot work then i suggest u to use HDMI option with your TV as screen or another . Laptop screen wont work that way. Thats the easiest thing. i switched to it months ago

Thanks a lot, but sadly it didn´t work for me. When i create the ssh file and put the sd card back to the pi, the ip adress never changed. And a saw that in that step it did change for you. I would really appreciate your help, thanks
I don't know who you are but thank God cuz you heard my message I've been crying about this for the last two weeks 4 zeros in2-3b to bees that I can't get, I had pi-hole and note- red set up on them
It might work with internet, DNS is the reason. Try my new video which helps you connect without lan cable, that is wirelessly with mobile hotspot. It has more successful rate.
Will this work on pi zero and zero w Where we use ethernet over usb I have tried it and Just select ethernet 4 or 5 or what ever extra digit your pi connection is given by your pc in network and sharing tab
I recently made video where in you can connect even without Ethernet cable. Yes completely wireless soln. Just you need a smartphone to creat hotspot. Go to that video of mine, your problems will be solved forever. All the best
it is easy. Connect to raspberry pi via smartphone Hotspot (watch my most recent video) Bring your pc in same network, ssh it and use duplicate screen feature of Windows (f4 is key in my keyboard) I guess MAC users all has this feature.

I have recently uploaded a new video on connecting raspi to laptop with smartphone hotspot, no lan cable required, please try that and let me know if you get any error.
It just fails after power off then back on ... Green LED is on and goes off after a while, ethernet leds are still blinking Failed to find it using IP scanner anymore --- RPi is not even showing on WIFI network devices ... something is stuck in the boot process

One thing to be noted after this process your laptop hotspot stop working, reset settings to make it work.
