Hi Swiss, just wanted to recommend Cuenca Airport (SECU) its runway is only a bit longer than london city but its surrounded by mountains and has an elevation of over 8000 feet and still flies jets such as the e190 and a318.... i would appreciate a video on this airport... like so he can see!

Speaking of smooth landings: I found a great mod for MSFS 2020. This mod is called "Gees - In game landing analysis". This mod shows you the Fpm and G when landing. Just like in X-Plane. It doesn't replace the replay mode, but at least you know if the landing was smooth or not.

@Swiss001 if you’re landing a turboprop you don’t have to cut your thrust until touchdown. The idle props gonna take away quite some air speed->wasted landing

You should try landing from the other side (runway 09), it would be very hard to avoid the skyscrapers and cable cars near the runway, but it would be nice to watch. Also, a long time ago, planes used to land at LCY on 09, that was before the cable cars and other nearby buildings were there.

You should try the MD82. I usually do pretty decent landings in it easily. My best landing ever in the MD82 was -50 fpm.

Just a quick correction, you can land at either end of the runway at LCY. The approach is just very steep.
